Isleview Motel and Cottages

We were in cottage 2 extremely clean, it was myself and two teen boys plenty of space. We hiked most of our stay so this was strictly to sleep and shower and was absolutely perfect. Had a fridge toaster coffee maker. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Would stay again. 20 minute drive to bar harbor about 25 minutes to sand beach.

Fantastic for the price and perfect for my early flight out of BHB. Room was small, but unless your looking to hang around, It was perfect. Very Clean, comfy and heating worked great. Stumbled on this motel while searching for an alternate route to Boston. Spoke to a very lovely and helpful manager named Maria who explained the price and booking procedure to me over the phone. self check in/ check out, the whole thing was easy. I had a 6am flight out of the airport which is right across the street. so I'll be staying here again soon.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The small single cabin was the perfect size for my wife and I for the 5 nights. The location was unbeatable (right in between Acadia and Ellsworth) as well as the price. Service was terrific. Ace helped us out one night by getting us a pizza. He was a great guy. I don't have a single complaint. Highly recommend staying here!

We had the best stay here! If you are thinking about staying here just do yourself a favor and book it! We loved our dog friendly cottage and the comfortable bed. It was so nice having fresh local coffee available in the office before we went exploring Acadia. The grills are also nice to have so we could make dinner at the cottage. Don’t miss out on going to the Sugar Bakery down the street! Love love loved our stay!

Great place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park. Very clean and well maintained. About 15 minutes drive to the park. The only thing I would point out is that since there isn't central heat, the bathroom gets quite cold (even in late October when we were visiting). Nevertheless, this place exceeded my expectations.

Perfect little cottage for adventurers! Lovely owners and excellent service; they recommended local businesses (all of which we loved) and made us feel welcomed to their town. Fresh brewed coffee (from a local roaster) and light snacks were available in the office, and they have a large little library!

BBQ pits and picnic tables make the place feel like a tiny community of guests. Plants and growing flowers at every cottage made coming back to the cottage feel like ending the day at home.

My spouse and I stayed for a few days while we visited Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park—we were gone most of the day but always came back to a refreshed space and clean towels. We’d love to stay again in the future!

We stayed here for one night in one of their motel rooms. The room was cozy and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had been updated and the shower had plenty of hot water. Great location, only 20 minutes to Acadia Park. There is also a great Lobster place directly across the road. Good value for this area.

Really nice cottages. They feel private and have good amenities. Rooms service would come by every day and refresh our towels and throw out the trash. The property has BBQ pits, a fire pit with wood and fire starters down a short trail, games, all of which were free to use. The office has some sodas for purchase and complimentary fruit and coffee. The owners are very friendly and I chatted with the husband a few times. Super nice and helpful people! My wife and I will definitely come back here.

Adorable cottages right on the doorstep of Acadia.

We loved staying here. It was about 30 minutes away from Acadia and close to nearby restaurants.

The cottages are adorable if a little old, but chock full of rustic charm. The fire pit area is very cozy and well stocked.

This was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! The owner is beyond amazing! I stayed here for 2 nights with my family on a recent trip. We stayed in the economy rooms, as the cottages weren't quite ready for the summer season when we arrived. They are very small, but so perfect for a short stay! The best part was the fire pit out back. There are grills with propane already hooked up, and they even gave us firewood, fire starters, and roasting sticks for marshmallows! This is an amazing little motel, and I will be staying here again!

We had the best time at Isleview! Mike is super friendly and made great recommendations based on our interests. We tried a hike he recommended which was fantastic and one we wouldn't have known about otherwise! Every one of his restaurant recommendations was incredible. Sabrina took care of our room, which was so lovely to come back to after a full day of exploring. Highly recommend booking a stay here! Thanks again, Mike & Sabrina!

We went here on our honeymoon and were very happy with our experience. The owner/operator seems very knowledgeable and kind and willing to recommend places for your adventures at Bar Harbor. The room was clean and cozy. We stayed in one of the cottages which is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway.

Because of the hurricane, our campground was closed so we stayed two nights in cottage #5. It was great! They're quite literally a one room small cottage so don't expect to be able to run around. Things seemed cleaned and orderly and we had everything we needed (fridge, freezer, microwave, heater, AC, ceiling fan, blankets, toiletries, coffee, picnice tables, grills, chairs, etc.) Check-in is super easy because they just text you the code to get in! The morning of the hurricane one of the workers actually stopped by our door to see if we needed anything!! I was shocked and impressed by that service! Good location next to a grocery store, gas station, and restaurants, and not far from the park.

I would stay here again without hesitation if we do another trip to Acadia. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. They do their best to go the extra mile to see you have a nice stay. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Don't be dissuaded by the location - there is a free shuttle that stops basically right across the street which will take you all over the island. We hardly drove and I could see not needing to drive your entire stay.

My husband and I recently got married in Maine and then wanted to visit Acadia National Park for our honeymoon! Isleview Motel Cottages was the perfect base camp for us and the location was prime! You will be only 20 minutes from Bar Harbor and 10 minutes from Ellworth! Honestly, it was so nice to not be in Bar Harbor, it's so busy and a lot of people everywhere but nice it was quieter and you were able to relax after a long day. Our room was very cozy, which mostly was a bed and small bathroom but we had everything that we needed! There was a comfortable bed, hot shower, mini-fridge and a microwave, what else could you need? Our host, Michael was literally the sweetest person ever and helped us with whatever we needed! He recommended his favorite places to eat in the area and every place that he recommended was top-notch and amazing! When you stay here, you can feel all the heart and soul he and his wife Sabrina have put into this place! Thank you again Michael for making these the best trips of our lives. We can't wait to come back to visit Bar Harbor and Isleview!

Very good deal for the 4 days we purchased. Very accommodating from the start even by offering free coffee and fruit every morning. Lovely family that runs this establishment and they’re very personable with customers.

Always looking for feedback and their willingness to improve and cater to their customers is all you could want out of staff. Rooms were always clean and the proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia made it very convenient for us.

As two individuals in our early 20’s without kids who stayed here, it was great for us and there was still a diversity of families and age ranges who were staying as well. Could not recommend more!
