The Farm Restaurant

My boyfriend and I had a great time at The Farm for my birthday dinner. It was cozy inside with twinkle lights and a very homey feel. The blue cheesecake was insanely good and nothing I’ve ever seen in another restaurant, red onion soup was amazing and flavorful and the braised beef tasted like a warm hug. The only downside was we were too full to try the desserts that also sounded amazing. This place is a gem. ❤

What a wonderful experience. The service was very good, the entrees were excellent. I had the braised beef, and my wife had the pork chop with the smoked whitefish appetizer and the fresh fruit cobbler for dessert. Highly recommend.

The Farm House came highly recommend by family. This place was amazing. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The service was wonderful...not too much attention..just enough. We had fried green tomatoes appetizer, salads one with their celery vinaigrette and other with Michigan cherry dressing, another in our party opted for the onion soup which was also wonderful. Our entrees included the chicken, ribs, and meatballs. All were delicious!!! Two had desert, mixed berry cobbler and chocolate cake. This is very good upscale casual dining and we all agreed we would go back in a heartbeat!

Nice little secret spot tucked away on a literal farm. They are only open a few hours on certain days, so be sure to be mindful of their hours. I also recommend calling ahead to place a reservation.

The restaurant itself is inside an old farmhouse, which provides a cozy and unique ambiance. Servers are very friendly and quick. We didn't seem to have to wait long for anything. Drinks came up very quickly and were delicious.

We got the deep-fried deviled eggs for an app, highly recommend. Even the ranch on the salad was amazing and must be homemade.

I had the bbq ribs, which were honestly just okay. My wife's mushroom chicken, however, was out of this world.

This was my second time back, and I will definitely be back again to try more of their amazing food!

Instead of sitting in front of the tv for a couple hours we made the drive to The Farm. We were not disappointed. I had the forest mushroom chicken which was incredibly satisfying. My boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Ravioli which he said was delicious, but the portion could have been a bit bigger. It's definitely one of the better menus I've seen so far in this area. The price point is a little higher but coming from Port Huron, the cost wasn't much different than a night at Tokyo. It was definitely better quality than the Vintage, which would be the only upscale restaurant to compare it with (In PH). If you're thinking about it, just go for it.

This place is special. They always have something new and from the second you walk in the service is amazing,followed by the perfect meal.

Great food, excellent service! We tried the Arancini and fried deviled eggs, both delicious. I had the Lake Trout and it was so good. Ben was our waiter and he did a great job taking care of our party of 10!

I was told for my Mother's birthday while enjoying the beach. That Farm was thee place to go. It was well worth the 2.5 hr drive. It was great. The finished dish was an amazing storm ....great time

Excellent restaurant. Right in the middle of a farm. We sat in the addition. A great young high school grad server and wonderful atmosphere. The braised beef and barbecue salmon was out of this world. Very tender. I Highly recommend when you were coming up to Port Austin

Absolutely adorable restaurant with the most delicious food! The dishes are truly above and beyond what you'd expect. Make this restaurant a destination if you are in the thumb of Michigan. Highly, highly recommend.

It was amazing. All food was cooked to perfection. Loved the special touch to the mashed potatoes. Vegetables were perfectly Al dente. One of the best meals I have had in a long time

We went here for our 39th wedding Anniversary and I have to say it has fantastic food. It is a gem in the rough in a country setting but the food is like a 5 star restaurant. Our waitress was top notch and was always there when we needed her. Evenif she was taking care of another table she was scanning the room to make sure her other tables didn’t needed anything!! Now that’s a great waitress! Her name was Michelle and she was awesome. She made our special day perfect! They have a full bar and their drinks are delicious ( I got a chocolate martini)! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed! You should get reservations because it fills up real fast! We went at 5:30 and it was empty but by 6:00 it was totally full!

Went for a girls weekend on Saturday night in June 2022. Called around 4:30pm that day and got a 7pm reservation. Great food. Prices are a little higher than chain sit down, but menu is printed daily and all items are fresh.

I got the whitefish and a salad. Very delicious.

My wife and I spent our 28th wedding anniversary at the The Farm. We both had a wonderful time and a fantastic meal. The staff were so helpful and a pleasure to have served us. We are looking forward to having dinner the next time we are in the area.

if you want to have a nice dinner in a nice restaurant with great wine, go to The farm. The hospitality of the server was great. It is right on a farm. About 10-15mins from port austin. Very special place to have dinner with very special people. I recommend this.
Remember, it's pricey !! $$$

This is a superb dinner destination in beautiful Port Austin. So much care is put into every dish. Make sure that you don’t miss this Gem!

Founded in 1993, The Farm features farm fresh ingredients for the dinner ingredients, sourced from local farms. Fresh made raspberry vinigarette dressing, salads, beans and perfectly steamed broccoli. Locally caught white fish with a Dijon mustard sauce.

We had to make a dinner reservation, and got in on a 5 PM slot. It's best to call a day or so ahead of time. Try to request dinner in the Octagon room!

Make sure you have a reservation, even after Labor Day. A nice variety of food. 4 of us and each had something different. All 4 gave 5 stars. Pretty much $25-$50, most were around $28/29. Server was nice, food was timely, and all food delicious. Nice country feel. We would definitely go again.
