The Lunch Pail

The cookies... My gawd. The cookies in the packages by the cash register are so good they cured my depression. The sandwiches are also great but be sure to ask for a grilled or hot sandwich (if that's what you like) Don't be like me and assume your sandwich will be toasted... It was still good cold cut style. Also I took a star because for a cookie and a sandwich it was 17 dollars. I don't feel like it wasn't worth it, because it was a great lunch. I just can't go there more often and that makes me depressed again.

What a lovely little place!! Have known about it for years but had never been before. Shouldn't have waited so long!!! Went in with my dad so he could utilize their "name of the day" offer and get a free menu item (super cool!!). I got a boxed lunch with the chicken ranch club (something like that). SO GOOD!! Came with chips, cookie, small side (and the half-a-sandwich). Pretty good value for the price, and quite filling! Very satisfied. We didn't stay in and eat but it's such a cozy little place, and so cute with all the old lunchboxes! 🥰 Will definitely go again, especially if the name of the day happens to be mine. 😉

Awesome sandwiches and the best chicken bacon ranch pasta salad I've had and I'm not a pasta salad person at all ,

I love this place for two reasons:

1. The Food
2. The People

The sandwiches here are awesome! In fact, their Reuben actually convinced me that the sandwich is delicious.

But the people are the reason I return. They are so nice and accommodating…something slowly dying in the food industry.

Definitely recommend this little place! The name reflects the unique decor inside. The food was great!

Great establishment, the staff is always warm and friendly anytime you visit and you can count on a great meal if you follow their Facebook daily they do a daily name pick to receive a free sandwich.

Cute little place, the lady taking my order was super nice and very helpful because I explained I hadn't been there before. I got a BLT and it was delicious, I will definitely be back! Next time I want to try their baked potato salad :)

The restaurant has a great small town feel and has a nice theme. The walls are covered with antique lunch pails, hence the name lunch pail, and the food is very good. Order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed. It's a fun experience to eat here, definitely would reccomend.

The food here is great, and the menu items are customizable. The service is always excellent. The setting is adorned with lunch boxes new and old in a very clean, well-kept establishment. If you are in Fremont and looking for a satisfying lunch, this is the place.

Sandwiches are so good.. loaded chili and the twice baked potato salad are always my go to. Also, their fountain pops are fresh and taste great, perfect ratio of syrup and carbon

Ok so they have a program called name of the day, where they pick a random name, and if your name is chosen you get a free item off the menu. I went because my name was chosen. Wow. I can't believe I didn't come here before. I got the lunch box, which is a half sandwich, bag of chips, cookie and one side, and because its one item on the menu, I got it for free! The sandwich I got was the 3-ameat-gos, it was VERY good. Also the side I got was the twice baked potato salad... it was incredible. I could eat that stuff by the bucket. Delicious. I will defintely be back.

Great spot. The sandwiches are huge, and very delicious. The baked potatoes are out of this world and customized. The picture I posted is of the Reuben Spud.

Do you like macalisters deli but want something local? This place is AWESOME. the ladies were so friendly it was like we were regulars, even though it was our first time. Food portions were generous, fresh, temp'd correctly, and delicious.
