Carrie listens and answers questions in a manner easy to understand. She is very easy to talk to as well. The rest of the staff are wonderful as well.

I can not say enough good things about the staff at NM pain. They are patient and kind. I have been seeing them for two years, and can not express how helpful they have been helping me manage my pain. I would highly recommend them! Nikki, the office manager, always takes the time to help the patients. Her kindness and knowledge has allowed me to have a wonderful experience every time I have an appointment.

We can only say wonderful reviews for this clinic. The staff and Dr Vazquez are extreme professionals. Everything is precise, caring and my treatment was of the utmost concern. I was on the front line at all times and they are all my heros.
I had polio as a child and post polio has hit me at age 73 with a vengeance. I was near giving up on ever walking again, of hiking of traveling in a car, until I found this pain center and Dr Vargas!
I can’t remember everyone’s names and I am sorry as I really needed to tell how great they are. Nikki is the Clinic manager and she is Heaven sent. Extremely caring and very professional .

I’ve been coming here for over a year for injections. Let me tell you this place was God sent and also all the staff is Awesome😊so friendly and very professional. I would 💯 percent recommend the New Mexico Pain Center. For someone who has a bad phobia of needles 💉 I definitely feel the difference in a good way. Dr. Vasquez and Ms Nikki are the names I remember at the center I attend. The whole staff is very kind. I will say New Mexico Pain Center has many other patients that say positive information😊

Wonderful experience!! Highly recommend, as Dr. Vasquez is So talented at procedures. Susan is so relatable and efficient in her diagnosis, extremely knowledgeable staff! The front desk, medical assistants and support staff treat me so well. They are all so so awesome! I am glad my pain needs are being met here!

This is the best pain management facility I’ve ever been to. They’re not quick with the prescription pad and they work with you to make your life better. The receptionist is super friendly and the providers are very caring. They are also upfront and realistic about what the law will and won’t allow. All of the staff will go out of their way to make sure your visit is a good one. 10/10 would highly recommend to everyone!!!

The staff is hands down the best. The willingness to help you with anything they can. One of my favorite ladies is Nickie, I hope I spelled your name right! There are not many places where the staff is always smiling. There is no place like it.

If you are suffering from pain that is affecting your quality of life I highly recommend NM Pain Center. All my husband’s interactions with any member of the staff was totally positive. Nicki, the receptionist is helpful, understanding and kind. Medical assistants, Karen and Jade are equally great. They listen and explain and answer any questions you may have. Plus, they have a sense of humor which should always put a patient at ease. Susann Ravessound, CNP is extremely knowledgeable and helpful; she explains pain medications and treatment options throughly in detail. If you are in pain make an appointment.

I’ve been a patient with NMPC in Alamogordo for almost a year now and I’ve always been treated like family. The staff from the receptionist, to the nurses, and doctors are super friendly and actually listen to my feedback to better treat my ailments. Customer service at its finest.

I have six screws and two plates in my neck from when I broke my neck thirty five years ago and they totally took care of me with medication and scheduled me for a procedure that I think will give me the quality of life that I didn't know was possible.

Suzan and Nikki are just absolutely amazing people. I had a serious issue come up with my breast, my implant ruptured, and I could not find a doctor anywhere that would be caring enough to help me find a surgeon. Susan went out of her way to find a surgeon at Texas tech position services in the University. Medical Center of El Paso.
my issue was I didn’t have $10,000 to have a plastic surgeon fix the implant but Susan was able to find Texas Tech Physicians services and department of surgery that would work with me with my insurance Humana. I was able to get the surgery and now I’m getting my health back on the mend.

Personnel have gone above and beyond to provide me with care, ESPECIALLY NICKIE. Attitude, people skills, and concern are topnotch. They are committed, and have ensured follow through speaking for myself.

Since moving to New Mexico in 2018, New Mexico Pain Management (NMPM) has been a life saver.

Previously with PM, I had little to no faith in them from bad experiences in another State for ongoing pain issues. My PCP would handle any problems that arose with pain, as the doctors there were very dismissive & treated you like a subhuman.

However, when a chiropractor caused me a great deal of additional pain & injury, I knew it was beyond the help from my local PCP. I sought all manner of therapies & then found LCPM & NMPM. With a lot of work & encouragement, I was able to minimize the pain from the injury. However, I still have other painful issues & need continuing long term treatment.

I cannot rave enough about Dr Vazquez for opening his practices, but also for his caring & excellent treatment. His staff, Nicki, Jade & all the others from all the locations are awesome.

I have seen many doctors over the years and you will find no better in the field than these.

A special shout out to Dr Watkins from Santa Fe for making my first televisit very pleasant & for thinking outside the box to try to solve my latest problem. I also want to mention Dr Coleman at the Las Cruces center. His professionalism & caring made the difference when I first came to New Mexico. Otherwise, I might have gone back to my home State.

I told Dr Watkins last month and I truly believe it in my heart, It's doctors like him, Vazquez, & Coleman that put the Sparkle in the universe. 💫 I recommend anybody who is seeking help with pain, to contact this clinic. They are the best you will find in New Mexico.

I had the privilege of being treated by Dr Vasquez. In all the years I have experienced severe pain he has given me Hope. He is so intelligent , caring and compassionate. He explained everything thoroughly and had a care plan in place before I left. I have seen several Pain doctors to no avail. Even his office staff was a delight to deal with. This is all a first for me even after dealing with other doctors. To experience this care today make your appointment. You will not be disappointed.

I have read a long list of prior reviews and disagree with many. My experience at NMPC has been overall good but there has been some "Hiccups" along the way. When I relocated here about three years ago I had to get all my medical up to date and here that is not as easy as it sounds. After choosing my new primary care DR. I was referred to NMPC for control over my back pain issues which included my pain and anti spasm medicines. I had to wait until a spot was open which took about a month to be seen the first time and if I remember correctly it was with DR. Vasquez. It was very busy and I did have a wait time in an exam room which was a bit longer than expected but nothing compared to other medical offices I have been to here. The DR. was quick and to the point with little conversation off of my medical issues and he was also looking at my records as we talked. He set me up with referrals for x-rays and blood work as mine were all out of date, refilled prescriptions that I had been taking from my previous DR. and set an appointment for follow up with the new reports/x-rays. Medical here in Alamogordo is nothing close to my previous medical and I was in a learning curve and waiting seems to be the norm. On my follow up I was advised of the findings and a course of action was set in place with the less intrusive course of action. I have been seen at NMPC multiple times since I first came and many of the time I was seen in a timely manner (Usually within an hour of my arrival, not appointment time) but there has been instances of delay by someone in more need or traffic delays as most physicians are not locals. NMPC was the first to correctly identify that I had a specific disease missed by other physicians. The staff has had several changes in my time but they have always treated me with dignity, respect, professionalism and positive attitude even the times when my high level of pain made me less than pleasant. I will wrap this up by telling you about the recent Kyphoplasty performed at the office, it is intimidating to get any surgery and the staff did all they could to make it less stressful. I arrived early as I knew it would be a challenge for me to lay flat on my stomach and they got my IV started prior to this so they could give me relief and help me get into position. I felt little more than a bit of pressure as they performed the Kyphoplasty and as I had researched the procedure I wasn't bothered by the sounds that I heard. It was finished in less time than expected and I was told that it went well as I was placed in the hands of my family to go home and recover. It has been a great relief and I was actually ably to go to the first tailgate series concert at the Space Hall of Fame the next night and have been feeling better since the fractured vertebra was repaired. I Thank Dr. Vasquez and all his staff for getting my pain level lowered so I can again enjoy life with much less pain and will see you soon.

Highly recommend NM Pain Ctr of Alamogordo. I was to the point of giving up and just dealing with pain. I was finally listened to and my concerns taken seriously. They've worked a lot to eliminate the root cause and have made life easier with pain relief. Karen is always a joy and so understanding. Nikki is so kind and upbeat. It's been a great experience.
