Song’s very much exceeded my expectations. Large portions, super flavorful food, lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and the owner was lovely. Ordered the eggplant with garlic sauce, kung pao tofu and vegetable lo mein. All super tasty.

The inside could use a bit of freshening up/modernizing, and the outside could use better signage (right now it just has a sign that says “Chinese restaurant”).

Best Asian foods in New Mexico. This lady who works there buys fresh vegetables every day and makes her noodles, sauces and dips from scratch. They make other Asian dishes there that are out of this world.

My family and I went to Song's Restaurant after a long day of road trip. We are not from the area, so we didn't know what to expect but I am so glad that we went there. The owner greeted us as we entered the restaurant, and she was so very sweet and patient the whole time. She was very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. She took time to explain what they had on the menu and patiently waited as we debated on what to order. We did a to go order. After we arrived at our hotel room and opened the food, we realized that she packed paper plates and few other things that we needed to comfortably eat at the hotel room. The food was delicious. Portion sizes were large. We had leftovers to eat the next day. We called the restaurant to thank her, but I think they may have been closed for the day as it was later in the evening. Thank you for the great experience, service, and food after a long tiring day!

Food is superb, authentic level of spice and flavor, exactly what i was hoping for. Thai curry was the real deal. I honestly liked the building and the inside, feels just right. Will miss this place after leaving Taos. Owners were super nice.

Best Chinese food in Taos area. Hands down. Excellent taste and very generous portions. I would not eat any other Chinese restaurant in town.

Hands down the best Chinese meal I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, great portions of food, great prices. They don’t have all the extra decorations and ambiance items most places have but with how great the food was that doesn’t matter to me. You can tell they are investing their money into quality fresh ingredients. I’d say the only downside is the only refill on my water happened after I had already eaten my meal. Otherwise, no complaints!

After a couple of pleasant, mexican-food-filled days, we decided to go for chinese food for a break. Songs seems to be a great go-to. Nothing fancy, but garanteed good homey chinese food. But most importantly, the owner (Connie?) is THE NICEST, SWEETEST HUMAN ON EARTH RIGHT NOW AND MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS. She is the kindest person Ive ever met. When we opened our to-go bag of food we were surprised by some free dumplings. Our hearts melted. I wish her and her husband all the best.

The food had delish flavor. Everything was very tender. You could tell they take pride in their food.
The one thing I did like but not for every restaurant. They served in to go containers. What an idea!!!!
Don't let the outside be the judge!!!

A surprisingly good Chinese food in Taos. I certainly didn't have much expectation when I googled "Chinese food near me". But I ended up eating here exclusively after paying $10 for God-awful Sonic Burger the first night.

Twice cooked pork is one of my favorite dishes and they had it on the menu. It came with bell pepper, onion and salary rather than cabbage I'm used to. But it was really good. The next day, I ordered broccoli chicken. The brown sauce on it was one of the best without being greasy. I highly recommend both.

The service is slow, however. I think it's two-person operation with one cook and one server. But, if you are not in hurry, you'll get a very good Chinese food at very reasonable price here.

I got takeout here. I really liked it. The food took a bit to prepare, but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. I had never had kung pao tofu like this, and I loved it so much!

The lady that owns this restaurant is one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. Her customer service is excellent. If you want Chinese food in the middle of New Mexico, this is a place to go. The portion size are large, And I would definitely recommend the chicken dishes and the Thai tea!

The lady running the place is SO kind! Excellent food, easy to make vegan delicious. Highly recommend the Thai Red Curry (similar to Massaman Curry), Spicy Garlic Noodles, Fried Rice, Family Tofu, Kung Pow Tofu. More of a take-out place since Covid. Expect the food to take about 30 minutes during normal times, and longer during busy times. Give them a break, it's quality food made to order!

Honestly, the dining room execution was terrible; and even though it was, as another reviewer put it, uncomfortably sparse, it still took about forty minutes to get my main entree, which I got before my appetiser. Reason why five stars is, if you're willing to overlook the glaring flaws, the food is spectacular. Don't judge this book by its cover.

This restaurant has been in Taos, NM for around at 20 years. We ordered their Vegetable and BBQ pork lo mein, and Mongolian Beef and it was delicious. They are very generous with their portions.
