Tin Cup Ice Cream & Desserts

Seriously trying to figure out if we can get this shipped?? lol by far the best homemade ice cream I’ve had in a very long time. Easy on the tummy. Highly recommend the blueberry bergamot and honey lavender!

Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you should pass up on getting amazing ice cream treats from this establishment! Long lines, worth the wait.

This place rocks! We stopped by at least 3 times during our short stay in Crested Butte. The sandwiches were all so good but make sure to get there for lunch as they only have a few leftovers during the evenings. It’s worth it to get them fresh for sure. (Roasted turkey was our favorite!) the ice cream was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The patio is dog friendly and first come first serve. We’ll definitely return!

I love this Honey Lavender ice cream. Great job to whoever thought about this combination. The honey comb bites in it is just giving nice texture. Amazing!

While on the way to Crested Butte, we had to stop for breakfast. Google suggested the restaurant and we are so happy it did. Super cozy set up with the best customer service! The waffles were to die for and so was their tomato bisque! We will definitely return!!

Friendly staff and great food! A little pricey but it is to be expected at a ski resort.

My girlfriend and friend are out in Crested Butte for a wedding and I decided to buy them an ice cream from SC, I called and got the mountain location, Chloe was extremely helpful and called to the Gunnison location and Meryl called me back, I gave a credit card over the phone with tip, told Meryl the names and sent a photo. She shocked them by calling their name's, they were the last in line for the night and received exceptional service! Thank you Meryl and Chloe at the mountain store for making their visit special! That's what customer service is supposed to be!!

My family and I came all the way from Oklahoma to Tin Cup Pasty two days in a row because it was so AMAZING!!! The first go around I had the Mother Load pasty along with the dessert peach pasty. Thought it couldn't get any better until we came back the second day and I tried the Old Timer and the mixed berry dessert pasty. all four are absolutely to die for!! I honestly cant even pick a favorite. I`m adding the pictures I took below!!

Really fresh flavours of ice cream. Black cherry was really good as was the blueberry bergamot, a unique flavour. Not too sweet but just the right sweetness. We have been wanting to try this ice cream forever, but you gotta drive to Created Butte or the likes to find it. As an owner of an ice cream shoppe it is always fun to try other brands and this one is great!

I love everything about this place, the food, the atmosphere, the owners. Matt & Lydia (the owners) have done an incredible job. The house the restaurant is in is a staple on Elk Ave and Matt and Lydia have really respected the original house while adding a cool trendy flare.

The food is fantastic, yummy ingredients, crispy pasty crust and great local beer. They even had a pasty for my dog!

Over all, this restaurant is a wonderful addition to Elk that will be here a long time.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times. Food is delicious and the service and atmosphere is spot on! It's a great place to stop by and get a quick bite to go or sit and relax in their tastefully remodeled building or enjoy the fun atmosphere on their patio. Owners Matt and Lydia are passionate about providing you with yummy and quality food and creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. I know them each personally and can attest to their strong character and integrity. Stop by and try a pasty and don't forgot to try their desserts as well! You won't be disappointed!!

I have lived in Gunnison County for a bit over 3 years now. This is the first time I have had perfectly cooked bread in this entire county. While there we got the Prospector (a Cuban filled Pasty) and the detonator (A curry filled one) and they were absolutely delicious. The owner and all the employees were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, and they had beer (soon to be on tap). Also the place is cheap (perfect for locals on tighter budgets). 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

Love it! We come here every year! And now they serve Third Bowl’s homemade ice cream, so two of our favorite Crested Butte’s spots have joined forces! We got to meet Lydia, one of the owners, and had such a pleasant conversation with her. Go check it out!

We have been coming to Crested Butte for the last few summers so we were excited to see there was a new restaurant to try out. First off, the renovation on this historic building is just beautiful. We walked in and it just blew us away. So fun and fresh!
We were greeted warmly and any questions we about the menu were explained thoroughly. There was such a fun variety. There were five of us there in our family so we got to try a good sampling of the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and were shocked at how quickly we received our food. We even have a picky eater and he gobbled everything up. I was impressed how basically everything is from scratch! Even the pickles! The Stubborn drinks were a fun change from the norm as well. We tried the desserts and they did not disappoint.
Ultimately, we loved it so much that we ate there everyday on our little vacation! I think we ate just about everything on the menu. We just loved the patio dining, great food, and our children LOVED the lawn games in the back! It's dog friendly as well! By the end of the week we left with hats and stickers too. Definitely worth it and love what they bring to Crested Butte!

Delicious food and really friendly proprietors! The house has been lovingly restored and the patio is dog friendly (which our Australian Shepherd appreciated!).
I had the chicken pot pie pasty and my husband has the steak pasty. These are genuine, original mining town food — hearty hand held pies. We chose to use utensils, but they absolutely work as portable, walkabout food.
We came in summer which was scrumptious and lovely, but I imagine that this restaurant will also be a great choice in the deep snow! Be sure to put this on your Crested Butte list of things to do.

I am in Crested Butte for a long weekend getaway. I stopped in Tin Cup Pasty for
lunch yesterday. The Townie grilled cheese
sandwich was amazingly wonderful and the
blue cheese dressing on my side salad was
the real thing! I came back today and had
the Kyleena salad which was equally awesome.
The staff here are friendly, helpful, and make
for a lovely experience.

Wow. This restaurant is so yummy! This was my first time to Crested Butte and I can tell you this will not be my last time coming here! The staff was very attentive and man, the food was so fast! The owner came and told us all about the history of the food and town and it enriched our experience all the more. And I can’t forget to mention the sweets! We had the berry and chocolate pasty, as well as a couple cookies to go. Yuuuuum! If you need something fast, this is a must stop.

This new restaurant in Crested Butte is one of my new favorites! The renovations the owners did to this place is amazing! Such a cute restaurant with an amazing patio. I tried the Prospector, Motherload, Coalface, and Pickaxe and Shovel. All four were delicious and I can not wait to go back later this year. This will be the first restaurant I go to when we go back. Also, make sure and get a homemade dessert;you will not be disappointed.

Awesome spot, especially with little ones! Delicious food comes up quickly and there is an awesome patio and lawn games! The BBQ pork/mac 'n' cheese pasty is phenomenal! Also, discounted pasties and beer specials during happy hour! We'll be back!

Had a great lunch here on their shady, dog friendly patio. Service a little harried but not a big deal given shady spot to chill and everybody is just getting their legs under them as they reopen for dine in during COVID. Wanted to try a pasty until we saw the fish and chips. Delicious fresh fish and super light batter with house made tartar sauce. Highly recommend.
