We needed a break and the Ojo spa was completely booked. So with a two day notice, we called the Taos Trail Inn and were able to get the Coyote Cabin with no problem. We got there a bit late, but the room was clean and ready, the heat was on, and the bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening in our private little cabin. The next morning, we had coffee in the room and headed to the spa for a while before heading home. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway.

Wonderful. Fresh Unique and Fun. This is a beautiful place that has been lovingly restored by the new owners Pam and her husband. I called the night before I was to be in town to see if they had a room. It was late and Pam, asked me for my name and then with out asking for any more information, said that she would hold a room for me as long as I called back in the morning to confirm. I was amazed. We got caught in traffic and were running late. Pam kept the restaurant open until we got there so we could eat, (the food was delicious) and then showed us to a beautiful room. There were two separate rooms, the back one private with a queen sized bed and the front with a queen bed and a kitchen. It was a great experience, with a lovely place and very kind people.

We happened upon the delightful little place on the way to the Ojo Caliente mineral springs. The owners were kind enough to squeeze us in with a 5 minute notice. I highly recommend it, and I'm sure we will be back. If you are here on Friday or Saturday, they have a steak dinner restaurant. Did I mention that they brew their own beer? Loved this place. There is a espresso/pizza/sandwich restaurant (with wifi), Red Mountain Cafe, across the street.

My wife and I didn't stay there, but we did have dinner during a recent (7/19/2014) visit to the Ojo Spa (basically right across the street). The beer was cold and good, the food was excellent (she had the Rib Eye; I had the Ribs), and the conversation with David (the owner) was both fun and informative. A great place, and a wonderful find. No question we will go back on our next visit to the area.

It's the loveliest little place we stayed during our three week road trip. It's so charming and welcoming. Pam and her husband set up a great little inn where you can relax and take in the serenity of the surroundings. The room was small but so warm and cosy with a special touch to it. For a few nights and with being outside and just going there for sleep it's perfect and the bed was very comfy. I'd rather pay a little bit more and stay at this cosy place than being in one from a chain.
The beer and the food was the best we had on our trip and the whole feeling and atmosphere was just great. We absolutely didn't mind having no internet or cable tv. The wifi is shitty in the whole area anyways and they have a nice selection of DVDs to choose from...if you're on vacation and ready to soak in the springs you don't need internet anyways and we enjoyed being not so available for anyone in these times.

We had dinner at the steakhouse. My ribeye was perfectly cooked. The asparagus was great as well. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Probably the best dining option in Ojo Caliente.

Beautiful, Clean, Comfortable & Cozy rooms that let you unplug and enjoy the scenery.

The springs are a short walk and in the night your vision is filled with the galaxy light snow! 5 STARS!

Went for dinner and the live jazz band on a Saturday night. The food was amazing, and the band was equally amazing. Great ambiance on the patio, friendly people, and good beer selection.

Came here in Dec 2016 and had a great meal though with girlfriends! Best of luck to the owners.
