This place is such a gem. Came here with a few girlfriends and two of them left wearing the most perfect dresses they’d found. It has a great selection and we bought even more great finds. The owner checked us out- she was so sweet and fun. Definitely don’t miss this spot if visiting x

The fantastic, lively, and charmingly-quirky vibration inside this quaint little shop just North of the Plaza may be the reason people come. But Michelle herself, is the reason the come BACK! I first walked-in in 2006, and returned 11 years later...and then again just last week! Actually, for 17 years, locals and "Taosguests" alike have shown that they know the difference between a business that is merely owned, and one that is LOVED. Michelle told me herself that she gets excited each and every morning on her drive into town. I asked her why, and she replied "Because I love people, and I never know who's going to walk through that door at any time!" Isn't THAT the truth! Local artists who make their jewelry and crafts by hand, talented boutique clothing designers hoping she'll carry their lines, and even customers she hasn't seen in months (or years) cross her threshold by the minute, every day of the week. (That's right, 7-days a week. When someone loves their work, they come to work every day!) So come for the fun, fashion, and creative interaction. Leave with something adorable for someone you love. Every time we visit Taos I ensure I pop in at Michelle’s. This trip I purchased a unique treasured find. A pair of beautiful fingerless gloves. The floral embroidery is exquisite and colorful. They are absolutely unique and a conversational piece.
