We stopped in for winter gear options. Found the perfect cold weather boots. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The shop has a great selection in all categories, it was worth the detour.

If you're familiar with other stores that sell these higher end, outdoor brands then you already know the prices aren't going to be cheap. You pay for what you get! This was a cool store with great service, and I am very pleased with my Cotopaxi bag I got there.

Plenty of gear for most adventures in here. Turns out the ski socks they sell are magic and add plus five stamina to the wearer. Unfortunately their sunscreen is only of the normal skin cancer prevention variety.

Anyway wore my socks (with pictures of little beer mugs on them!) on a boot pack up Wheeler. 10/10.

Wow! What an awesome little gem. Awesome selection of anything outdoor apparel related. Staff is knowledgeable and absolutely the nicest people I've ever dealt with. Every single employee we spoke with was helpful and genuine. People that you could tell enjoyed what they were doing. We will definitely tell others to stop in when they're in the area.

The staff member I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable plus they had a great selection of hiking gear, leisure wear, and great accessories in stock that were easy to shop.

I liked their conditions report which you can view at the front door. They also sold cool logo cups that they donate a portion of the sales to local charities!

Great store! Everyone was welcoming, informative and very helpful! We also got great advice on where to hike which ended up making this trip to Taos the best one yet. A little disappointed that they would not sell us their labradoodle! Very happy with their product lines; the owner has done a great job stocking the right gear for the right season. We will definitely shop here again!!!!

My friends and I met the owners on a hike and they were very nice to us. They heard of our struggles during our camping trip and the cold temps that we had endured and they graciously offered us free supplies and discounts on merchandise in the store. They have a great selection of outdoor gear and are very knowledgeable. We will be forever grateful for their generosity.

The best spot in Taos for outdoor gear, cute clothes and accessories! The staff is so nice. They even let me in after hours to make a last minute purchase I’d had my eye on. What a great customer service experience! 💖

This is my favorite outfitter in the area. The store is huge and always fully stocked. They have a great selection of the best outdoor clothing brands, all the highest quality products. They also have the essentials you need if you are heading out on the train and realize you forgot the fuel for your stove (this did not happen to me, just hypothetical).

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and will help you make sure that you get the right product for your need.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of local hikes. We were planning a quick overnight trip before heading back to KS, and the staff was mindful of the upcoming Labor Day weekend and directed us to a different spot that was likely to be much less busy. Took time to give great beta and we had a great trip!

We were traveling through town and stopped in to see the store. We met and talked with the owner who was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had the best brands and products. I highly recommend this store if you want some great outdoor gear.

Bill and Karen are the some of the sweetest kindness people I've ever met. We ran into them in the mountains while hiking and they were so very kind and genuine. Those are the kinds of people you want to meet when you travel. We visited hem at their store and they gave us some amazing deals on equipment that will surely last is years. After buying Ill fitting boots from LL Bean last year for Shanendoah NP that ended up annihilating my toes when hiking the Tetons, the two gentlemen working the store today educated me as to why my shoes weren’t going to work for me in higher elevations. They were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and kind. The prices weren’t hiked for the tourists and the selection was amazing. Highly recommended and very thankful for the help.
