My husband, adult daughter and our pup stayed two nights at Adobe and Pines bed and breakfast. This was our first time. Robbie and Kat were so welcoming. Breakfast was phenomenal and I especially liked the sourdough bread. We visit Taos from Fort Collins , Co every couple of years and are thrilled to have a new place to stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was very cozy with a fireplace. The outdoor area was beautiful and peaceful and I look forward to coming back in the late spring when everything is green and in bloom. Adobe and Pines B and B is as magical as the surrounding Taos area that we love so much! Highly recommend

I had the most delightful stay at Adobe and Pines last week. Upon entering the beautiful property, I parked and walked through the front portal into the Office and Reception area. I was immediately greeted with a warm fire and by the Owner/host ‘Cat’. She offered my a glass of wine while she went over the details of my accommodation with me. Then she walked me to the glass enclosed dining porch where my delicious breakfasts would be served during my stay. Breakfasts here are prepared by they’re accomplished chef. Next she showed me to my room going over the details and operations of the space. My room and bed were so comfortable that I had trouble getting out of bed in the morning! Cat was available throughout my stay with helpful advice regarding my travel and site seeing. I’m already looking forward to my next visit here! They’ve got some great ideas about developing their accommodations and new offerings to their future guests!

When we arrived it was super late, wasn’t sure how this would all go. Then I met Robbie, amazing human. I’ll break it down below.

1. Location is perfect for exploring Colorado and Taos. Desert to the Rockies in an hour either north or south.

2. Robbie and Cat. What can I say other than they genially care and will do anything to make your stay perfect as I found this out first hand. Our room wasn’t “perfect” due to some things outside their control. That said they had a room ready for us and left it open for our stay if we wished to switch. We did not but to have them be so accommodating was truly refreshing.

3. DON’T MISS BREAKFAST!!! It’s the star here. They pour so much into how to start a day. I don’t eat breakfast but I made darn sure I was there between 9-10am for it everyday.

4. The beds are something else, my love is still talking about the mattress in the Violetta room. We have been all over the globe and I must say a solid bed after a long day is worth more than I realized on vacation and they have crushed it on that.

5. New owners so disregard the older posts without them. We spoke to Robbie and Cat everyday for our 8 day stay via in person or text. They have huge plans for the place and as great as it is now I am excited to see what they do!!

6. I am super private on holiday. They let us simply be. Never bothered us, heck never even saw them but a text later they magically appear with a solution and compassion to any issue big or small. Worth more than I can say when you are away from home. Love them as friends now. Robbie may be my new best friend. Hahahahahaha

Last bit is a warning. If you’re hungry in Taos, well they shut down at 3pm most places and open back up later around 5pm. Taos time is a real thing and being from Baltimore where everyone is open you just need to adjust a wee bit.

This Inn is a piece of heaven on Earth. We stayed here for a few days while in Taos. Christine was an incredible host and the staff was fabulous. We had a nice gourmet breakfast every morning. We stayed in the Rosa Suite which was unbelievable. It is in the original part of the Inn and was just wonderful. I would prefer more lighting in the bedroom but that is just me. We will definitely stay at the Inn on our next trip to NM. I would stay in another Suite to mix it up but my husband was enamored with Rosa. Thank you, Christine, for your hospitality.

My husband and I had the most incredible stay at Adobe and Pines. We came for a weekend trip to ski Angel Fire and loved that the inn is centrally located to many activities that Taos area has to offer. Our room was cozy and well stocked with thoughtful items including delicious freshly ground coffee. Our favorite part though was waking up and heading into the breakfast nook for coffee and a delicious homemade breakfast by Robbie and Cat. Seriously, the breakfast is AMAZING, I’m talking homemade frittatas with herbs and homemade aoili and fresh blueberry pancakes. I also had the freshly squeezed juice which was a great start to my morning. Absolutely will be back in September. This is a place you don’t want to miss and I believe is a solid affordable option in the area especially everything that is included. Thank you, Robbie and Cat for making our weekend special!

Everyone at Adobe & Pines was caring and thoughtful! Our group included 2 adults and 3 children and the Inn was very family friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub after each days' adventures and woke up to good food/coffee in the main casita, prepared and served table style (not a breakfast buffet) which was a nice touch. Mom & Dad loved the break from the daily food prep/cleanup - one of the main reasons we booked the bed & breakfast and it did not disappoint! We felt very well taken care of :) The beds & linens were very comfortable; the grounds were beautiful! We had no problems and would stay again and bring our dog with us next time!

recently stayed at a bed and breakfast and was blown away by the level of service and comfort provided. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating.

The room itself was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and luxurious linens. The breakfast spread each morning was impressive, with a variety of options to suit all tastes.

But the real standout for me was the attention to detail and personalized service. From the fresh flowers in my room to the warm cookies at night, it was clear that the staff truly cared about making my stay as enjoyable as possible.

Overall, I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent getaway. It was truly a five-star experience!

This place was amazing! The grounds were so cute and well maintained. They have chickens. Our suite/room was adorable and the beds were so comfy. And we saw a fox while we were there, though I doubt that was on purpose. 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Amazing little inn right off the main road. Breakfast was great and they were very adaptable to dietary restrictions. Rooms were adorable and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was clear they tried to think of anything someone would need while staying there. Wine glasses, corkscrew, coffee, hot chocolate in the rooms. Apple cider, cookies, guidebooks, etc left in the office/lounge area with access at any time. It was a great place to end my trip and relax a bit.

My fiancee and I had a great time with our two pups! The property was gorgeous and everyone was very kind. The suite was very spacious and beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. Unfortunately, I have a bad back and soft beds really do a number on me. We had to cut our trip short, but Christine was very understanding and helpful throughout the process. All in all it was great trip and stay.

Beautiful place, breakfast was small but great, just right, best coffee! Room was awesome, and great space. Location was a little close to highway so got a little noisy but nothing major. Overall great experience

10/10 highly recommended! The unit and property are super cute and secluded. Breakfast was excellent, and even provided early and quick so we could get out skiing. It’s ~5 minutes from downtown and ~35 from the ski resort so location is excellent. Fireplace in unit was great as well. We had an excellent time and can’t wait to come see it in the summer!

Wow we just loved staying here! We originally planned for two nights and ended up extending for a third! Christine, the owner, is such a wonderful host. She set us up with wonderful recommendation, was so easy to talk too, was great at communicating with us before we arrived, and she makes delicious breakfast! The two rooms we stayed in were quiet, very clean, comfortable, and unique.
I will be staying here again and have already recommended to friends and family!

I saw a little fox, too! It ran away the second it saw me but what a delight!
Adobe and Pines Inn in Ranchos de Taos is a sanctuary for people, pups, plants, wildlife and some very generous hens.
I had the most regenerative and pleasant vacation ever at the guest adobe, Puerta Cobre at Adobe and Pines Inn in Taos. Christine, the Innkeeper, and her staff go above and beyond to tend to their guests while offering as much or as little interaction as the guest requests.
Before arriving, I received easy instructions for check-in. Christine also reached out to inquire about any dietary restrictions or requests I might have. She took the time to offer assistance in any additional requests I might have as far as tours, dinner plans and some delightful offerings and extras for my arrival. These add-ons included chocolate covered strawberries, fruit and cheese plates with wine, or chips with queso and local beer.
The Inn is an easy thirty minute drive from Taos Regional Airport. I opted for a ride share to the Inn after spending a few hours at the main plaza in town. I arrived a little after three and after meeting Christine headed to my Puerta Cobre to relax.
My room was perfect! WiFi worked flawlessly for the many emails I had to answer and a movie I streamed. My mobile phone reception was great and I finished up a few calls before settling in. The huge Jacuzzi bathtub and walk-in shower, the luxurious bed linens and robes, the private hot tub outside is modern and luxe while keeping with the historic tradition of the Inn. The water from the mini-kitchen sink is the best! Super clean and crisp. The in room cocoa, coffee, decaf coffee and cream from the mini-fridge were super convenient. On a side note, I finished off the cocoa jar completely during my stay. It's that good.
I slept so well! I enjoyed the sound of a few grasshoppers as I dozed off. My little dog enjoyed the linens especially provided to him.
I woke early and made coffee in my room. It was an organic, dark roast and a perfect start to my morning. I walked my dog around the property. We took in the labyrinth which is a must see as well as raking the Zen garden. I then settled into an Adirondack chair to watch the bees and birds while taking in the sights and smells of the many flowers, foliage and pines.

What a beautiful and peaceful place. My family had to be delayed due to weather and needed a place to rest up.

I’ve always looked for B&B’s and found this gem. So much to say, but let me start with the staff. They really made the entire stay peaceful. Christina the owner/operator loves what she does, and as we know, that manifests itself in your labor.

The accommodations were superb. The rooms were tranquil and romantic. The grounds were well kept and again, peaceful. Enjoy.

My wife and I stayed at Adobe and Pines the first week of August 2022, with our dog. We all really enjoyed out stay. Christine and her staff are very friendly and welcoming of us and our dog. The property is beautiful. The room was great. The courtyard available to our room was a great place to allow our dog out. We had access to a private hot tub that was well welcomed after our regular hikes and other outdoor activities. (Please be aware that access to a hot tub and/or courtyard is dependent upon the room you choose).

Christine creates a different breakfast menu every morning that is tasty and unique. Many of the items presented are not something I would not necessarily order on my own, I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to expand their palette, as I did. Everything was very tasty, even if it may not have been my personal choice walking in. But, it is important that to note that if you have special dietary considerations or concerns, all you need to do is let the staff know ahead of time, and they will try to adjustments as they can. I think it is also important to note that as many of the ingredients as possible are grown on the property. Nothing is quite like fresh juiced apples that you see grown outside your room.

Christine is very willing to have conversations with her guests and share ideas and recommendations of activities to partake in while in Taos.
I requested a wine/cheese/fruit tray to be provided in-room upon arrival. It was very good and hit the spot after a long drive in. I also requested an in-room massage for my wife after our horse trail ride. Christine worked with local talent and coordinated everything for us based on our requests.

Definitely recommend.

We stayed two nights in Cobre, one of the B&B’s larger rooms. It was perfect and accommodated our family of three. We absolutely loved the bathtub and all the attention to detail - the furniture, including the wrought iron bed frame and nightstands complemented the area. We loved having the charming private patio and adjoining outdoor dining table. It felt private while being right in the midst of the property. The outdoor hot tub was an added bonus and was very well maintained.

Now on to Christine, the owner of the property. She is a true gem. We booked and needed to change our dates twice and she was very accommodating. The breakfast every morning is immaculate and delicious. My husband and I are still talking about her pancakes! Christine is a great host and chef. My son is allergic to eggs, and she went above and beyond to make items for breakfast and afternoon snack time that he was able to eat.

We had a phenomenal stay at Adobe & Pines. The location can’t be beat - close to town but feels miles away. A charming oasis in Taos.

Such a lovely place to stay in Taos! The owner went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was a 10/10 with multiple delicious courses and was even catered to our dietary restrictions. Our dog loved being able to travel and stay with us for the weekend. We can’t wait to return & spend many more weekends exploring the area.
