South Eden Campground

The location is beautiful and well maintained. The camp host works hard to make it an enjoyable place for everyone and yes that might mean having to enforce quiet hours but she also understands that there are big families coming over and can suggest which group site is away from other people. I appreciated how hard the hosts worked so that we could have a good time. This is one of the campsites where you can find shade trees and it seems more private. This side is the lake is calm on the morning and late afternoon but a bit choppy in the middle of the day.

We reserved one of the large campgrounds for a family reunion. It was very nice! There is a nice fire pit and a few grills. The pavilion was a nice place to get out of the hot sun. The main downside to the large camp ground was that the bathroom was a bit of a walk away but they were clean and nice for hole in the ground toilets. I would definitely recommend the group camping spot!

Bigger area, a lot more quiet than rendezvous beach

Nice simple campsite. There are toilets but no showers. Each site has a table and an in-ground fire pit with a grate. We were happy to know you get into Rendezvous Beach for free if you have your validation card they give you when you check in at South Eden. It's about a ten minute drive to get to Rendezvous Beach.

Big camping spots with water and electricity. Nice clean outhouses. The beach is very rocky (smooth rocks) but there are nearby boat launch ramps for playing. Awesome location if you don't want crowds!

Lots 9f memories here. Great place, there 8s a boat launch very close to the compound. They have bathrooms, and a beautiful site with a large tree right by the lake. That's my favorite spot to go! The park rangers are very helpful, and will even stop and chat with you a while!

Worth every penny. Super friendly campground hosts. Most sites are right on the lake. Garbage, potable water, picnic tables, and bathrooms available. Good beach for swimming, but note it isn't sandy.

Really great place to camp not too crowded when we went. Great view of the lake and walking distance of swimming. Also when we went it was quiet at night which was a plus!

Spots for everyones preference including large groups, a couple tucked away for more privacy even. Camp host is nice and everything is close enough if you need a store trip.

Large spots, full hook ups. Amazing view and good beech (a little rocky) with shallow clear water very close to the sites.

Great tent and rv space. Love the logs and fire pits. This place is fun. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am

Great location to camp with a large group with beach access. The main negative is there is little shade, so you may want to bring some.
