Camped for a few nights with the family. The camp site leads right to the beach which is awesome but it is close quarter camping as everyone is near each other in the same area. Bathrooms are nice and clean and there are showers on site so really everything you need.

We camp here for a week every year. There is a reason we come back... because it's amazing. We get the group site with the pavilion and will never go back. There are bathrooms, electricity, water, parking, fire pits, and lots of trees for shade. But the best part is the beach. The sand is soft and filled with tiny adorable seashells. The water is clear and beautiful. And,as a parent, I love that the water very very gradually goes deeper. So there is plenty of space for the kids too play, without worry about it dropping off and getting deep out of nowhere. Also, this campground is close to Garden City, where there are cute little shops, grocery stores, and amazing food.

This beach is clean and spacious. Our first time at bear lake and we didn't know what to expect. The water was definitely chilly at the first of June, but the water is so clear and clean, and if you stay within the boundaries, it's not that deep either. We were only here for 2 days and had so much fun. Don't forget sunblock.

The beach is gorgeous and sandy and full of little shells. Having a campground literally just off the beach with clean flush toilets, running water, and showers is the icing on the cake. The fire pits have a grill, and the sites have metal picnic tables in great condition. Lots of birds, too!

Best beach at bear lake. Small entrance fee for day use beach. RV full hookup sites reserve quickly so reserve them early. RV and camping beaches are much less crowded then day use beach.

Loved the soft sandy beaches that you find at the campground where you set up camp. The campgrounds are very well maintained so you can spend more time relaxing and having fun than clearing out debree, rocks, or shrubs in order to place your tent. The bathrooms are clean and smell nice.

We have been camping here for the last 12 years. The hosts are helpful, the sites are clean and they have a section of beach just for the campsite. Which is always a good thing if you know anything about Bear Lake. In the summer a spot on the beach can be hard to come by. Just make sure you bring plenty of bug spray. That is just Bear Lake in general. They do have flush toilets and showers. Most of the spots have full hook ups. If you're not at a spot with a dump for your tanks they do have a dump station at the entrance. There is also a place and the far end of the campground where you can rent wave runners and side by sides. There is also a little place to get food at the dock but I'm not sure what the hours are. They have never been open while I've been over there. If you want a good spot you need to reserve well in advance.

Our family has been coming here for many years, probably for 50 years. We rent a boat each year and enjoy tubing. The Cottonwood campsite is very nice and we enjoy the showers. I would recommend coming here. It's great for families and a great place to relax!

Went camping at this beautiful spot
The lake was so high that we were only a couple yards from the sandy shore,
Bear lake is such a beautiful turquoise!

The campsite has both tent and RV sections, and all sites are well spread out between bathrooms/dumpsters

Cleanest bathrooms i've seen camping, and there are outlites if u need to charge a phone, in the past in these campsites i didn't receive signal, but this last trip i did :)

There is also an abundance of cute critters! This last trip we saw a frog, baby birds, a groundhog/mole, and a pelican!

Highly recommend for all ages, this is a perfect spot for kids (especially if they like sand)

It can get a little windy at night, but nothing too bad,

If your planning on staying I highly recommend the bear lake monsters and a local spooky story to tell around the campfire, and of course to check out the pickle-dill play house and famous raspberry shakes nearby in town :)

We had a wonderful experience!

This is our favorite RV park in northern Utah. The sites are big. We always stay in the Birch campground. Each site has a covered eating area, a fire pit and many areas have some tree shade. The beach also offers boat, jet ski, paddle boards, etc rentals. So glad this park is hear!!

So if you are wondering this is where cotton wood camp site is. We got camp site cw03. This was amazing we set up our tent facing the the lake. Because we were at the south end of the lake we saw both the sunrise and sunset. This was also about 20 feet from the waters edge. Great camping spot highly recommend. There is also boat and jet ski rental right on the lake so there is no need to tow.

Such a great campground! Really close to the beach. Private beach access for just the campers. Really shallow water for 100's of feet. No need to worry about the kids playing in the water.

Beautiful camp ground. This state park has flushing toilets and showers. The beach is nice for a lake. The sand is not overly Rocky. I would recommend it.

My Best camping experience so far, beautiful place, clear water, good for kids, kayaking, boating . Little chilly at night but awesome temperature during the day. At the camp site the restrooms needs improvement.

The South end of lake is a great Rv and Tent camping area. There is a beach for everyone to play. The lake is at around 6000 ft elevation, so expect cool weather at night. And a cool breaze at the beach is great too.

We had a large family reunion here and had a great time. The rental equipment was top notch and the staff was great. I highly recommend stopping by Rendezvous Beach Rentals and checking it out.
