Carter's Park

Great place for a picnic and there's ducks too. There's also handicapped parking and bathrooms on site. Theres picnic tables, a shelter, and a nice creek where you can fish. It's a quick stop right off I-81 and very easy to find. Great place to stretch your legs and enjoy nature.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place to spend family time. Kids were able to run around with ease. Water is crystal clear....and the dear drinking from the river in front of us was a bonus

Nice and quiet. Did a little fishing but no bites. The picnic areas are nice and the park is very clean. I would go back.

Came here when I was somewhat younger to view the cattle and equestrian life on a road trip to FL. March 2022

Beautiful spot only issue would be inside the bathrooms the stalls have no doors .

New lighting, cleaned out all dead trees... Great job, my dogs love it

Nice view surrounding ,park. Kids love swimming and fishing, casual walk around park on little gravelly drive.

Many childhood memories of family reunions, playing on the bridge and barefooting in the water. Beautiful place.

Great place to fly fish. I had a family members birthday here and for some the ability to have 1 on 1 interaction with nature will make your visit a very pleasant experience. Just be careful that if it’s rained prior to your visit it will be very muddy so be sure to wear appropriate attire.

Beautiful, well kept and nice for a quick walk. There are clean facilities and I saw people bring a grill and set up for what I'm sure will be a great afternoon in a peaceful park!

Currently, the park is technically closed, but people use it anyway. Grounds are still manicured, less the big parking lot. Hopefully it will officially re-open soon. Great place for picnics and plenty of area for kids to run and play.

Great park to visit in Pulaski county. The park is well maintained and very peaceful.

Most beautiful, safest, and family atmosphere in Wythe county. Would love to see more multi colored signs to help find it. Dearly love it here. Thank you so much for keeping it up so well.

Great place for picnics and general get together. Plenty of picnic areas to choose from some huge, others small almost all shaded or covered. Restrooms available and great views.
