Julio's Mexican Restaurant

Good food and friendly service. Stopped in for dinner and got the #2 dinner combination. Really good chilli relanos. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm passing through New Kent. Restaurant is close to interstate 64 off Hwy 249.

Friday night pop in because we were in the area. Quickly seated, tons of food options! The waiter didn't come back to fill drinks but one time, but I'll credit that to being end of the day. All in all, so glad we stopped!

It's all about the food. Never have had a bad meal here. Fast service and low priced food items.

Fantastic food. I was there for dinner and had ordered Arroz con pollo for take out. It was bit pricier than expected but hell it was damn good. It comes with chips and two different salsa. And don’t forget to ask their hot sauce if you like it that way. Service was fast and friendly. Will go back again when in the area.

This place is really good! It's been our favorite Mexican since my mom moved to New Kent. We were lucky to find them! I've tried most things on the menu and we like them all, especially the flautas, taquitos, fajitas, shrimp burritos, and carne asada burritos.

This is a great little spot right off of I-64! Exit 205, follow the road signs for "safari" coffee shop to easily reach the small shopping center Julio's is located in.

The staff are friendly and kind. All the food is superb, Chimichangas, fajitas, all of it. Personally, I'd say especially their shredded chicken dishes.

The restaurant is not huge, but luckily it's not super busy outside of holidays or special events usually. They do have a small outdoor seating option as well.

The menu is very reasonably priced with most dinner combinations starting at $7.50! The other prices for larger specials and what not can vary from $9-14 depending on what meats and such you ask for. The portions don't disappoint either!

I have never had bad food here. It is always quick to get to the table & soooo wonderful. I have tried a few things on the menu with no complaints from me. The margaritas 🍹 are yummy!!

Weve been going to Julio's for nearly seven years. The staff are awesome - friendly and have always treated us well. The food is also pretty awesome. They're so good, it's our go to place. We're regulars now and know all the staff by name...

I've been to this location 5 times now. Every visit has been consistently excellent! My family and I have tried multiple items from the menu and nothing has disappointed any of us. Their Diablo Shrimp is my favorite. Very spicy with great flavor. The Panfilo Burrito is to die for. Enchiladas, Mole, fajitas. All amazing. Food is always out quicker than seems humanly possible, piping hot and yet all tastes fresh like they just spent hours making it for you. Will be back again and again.

Quiet and quick. They don't play with food here and they aren't in your face while you eat. Food was hot and delicious. Definitely coming back in the future.

We eat there a lot, since it is so close. I've never had a single bad experience. The food is always amazing, the staff are always nice, and the service is always fast. Their chile rellenos are out of this world. Definitely the go-to place in Quinton if you want great Mexican food! 👍🏻

Don’t trust the reviews seen on here. I’m thinking they might of changed chefs because the food is outstanding! We are originally from NY and trust me when I tell you, we know good food. The tamales are moist and have meat in every bite. We currently live in VA Beach but we drive a couple of hours to get our good Mexican. It’s addicting!!!
