Had a great hike here along the river. Easy to access picnic area with tables in the shade. Bathrooms & trail markers. $1 to park per hour or $5 for the day. Bathrooms were dirty but we expected that.

I've been going for a year now and it's been fun each time. We go in groups to make it more enjoyable. The trails flip around each month to keep it fresh and the volunteers do amazing work at maintaining it and creating new trails.

Beautiful park! Great for jogging or go with kids. Also nice spot to fishing (I didn’t get any 🤪) but it’s beautiful. Also I’m glad they have trails for bike. Make sure to have repellent! And it’s a clean park.

We rented the screened in pavilion which comes with it's own restroom and kitchen. Kitchen has a ice making machine constantly making ice and the pavilion is full of ceiling fans. We had about 80 people there and there was probably room for more. It helped that the weather was beautiful.

Went out today on a day off to enjoy the beautiful cooler weather in nature. Havent been to this park in a while and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful trails and gorgeous huge oak trees. Saw several squirrels, heard a cardinal and sat on a bench looking out over the river. What a gorgeous day to get out in nature. We walked about 3 miles. Thank you Lee County for preserving such a beautiful area. 3 trails to choose from and even a nice trail along the river.

First time exploring this place with my family. My two kids enjoyed it a lot. Very peaceful. I love the sound of the river as we walked. We saw frogs, birds, a rabbit, and a wild pig. Very muddy as it rained a few days ago. Not too many mosquitoes as other places. We did our yearly cardio today!!!! :)

Nice place to camp with family and friends. The campground is very clean and the facilities are well maintained. There are showers throughout the campground, which is helpful when the place is full of other campers. We saw no aggressive wild animals. It was a good experience overall.

Wonderful and unique little camp ground. There are shower huts around the entire campground (without hot water) then a bathhouse at the front with 2 warm water showers. There are many short hiking trails surrounding the campground (about 3-4 miles). One goes along the river which is very beautiful. We didn't have luck with the firewood sold, so ended up buying elsewhere but maybe just a wet batch. The squirrels were so much fun to watch. The people there were very helpful and nice. The campground is alive during the day and evening then like absolute magic all the kids were in tents and silent by 10pm for quiet hours. Only $15 a night for regular site ($30 for group).

What an amazing place for trails and camping!!!! We will be back for sure!!! We were in a last minute pinch and we're able to find a primitive campsite that was Amazing! Not only did we have privacy because not many people stay during the week, but it was So reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place if you are into camping, biking and the outdoors! I highly recommend getting the group sites, they are a little bit more pricey (still cheap!) But they offer more space. We had seven of us total including a few kids so it was nice to have the extra space for the kids to run around and still fit all of our tents and camping equipment. There are showers with hot water in different areas around the campsites and there is also a large building with toilets, plug ins and sinks. We didn't find out until the last day but the showers also have water spickets at the bottom underneath the shower head, that you can use for filling your buckets or rinsing dishes things like that. The trails go for miles and there is even a biking trail that is for experienced riders with jumps and narrow winding paths with steep drop offs in a few places. The camping is primitive, so you do use the wagons to cart in all of your camping supplies. The campsites are not very far from the parking lot though so it doesn't feel like you're walking too far, however the trees help to make it feel like you are far out in the wilderness. The only thing that I would say we didn't much care for were the four wheelers and golf carts driven by the state park people go down the paths past the camping sites. So it can get noisy early in the morning with the vehicles driving by. But this will Not hinder is choice to come next time. I love that is so close to home so you can get more time in at the campsite.

Nice park with trails along the river. Very nice covered fishing pier to the West. We saw a baby armadillo on the trail.

Very pretty park. We went camping here for a nite in the summer. It was hot, but quite and peaceful. It's a well maintained park also. There is bathrooms and showers here. The showers are outside and very refreshing in the summer but might be a bit too cold when the weather is excruciating

Convenient parking and entrance to walking trails. Clean restrooms at entrance. The short trail to the river ( .85 miles)was not handicap friendly. It is a gravel/dirt path with a few boardwalk sections and therefore, it is not good for wheelchairs or people using walkers. The trail itself was great! Interesting with good views of the river. Enjoyed our visit!

Absolutely Beautiful. Staff is friendly and registration very easy. Parking. Handicap showers, outside of course! But its really cool when temperatures are a tad warmer! But I shower and somewhat warm water, but its camping! Lol love the trails, fishing, clean, water, and be prepared to have batteries, or firewood. They sell wood if needed. Florida skeeter... mosquitoes everywhere in Florida. Its cool temp, so none really at the moment. Grills outside too. Real camping. Xoxoxi

Great place to ride mountain bike. The volunteers work hard on this place and it shows. Just bought a house closer to the park & a new bike just to go here 😁

This was my first visit at the bike trail park. What a great experience. Way better than I could have imagined. This mountain bike trail park is well organized. Trails go from smooth riding to advanced challenging. You have options and they are well labeled as you go. One direction for all bikers. A beginning and an end. If you are looking for a nice ride at trials with no difficulty this is the place. If you are looking for a challenge with many dips, roots, rocks, hills, sharp turns, wooden built bike paths and more, this is the place. Like Mentioned, very well organized. This place is volunteer maintained. Seems like its maintained by the same riders. The riders are nice welcoming people. Once a month, the direction on trails are changed and I was talking to one of the riders, and they are constantly adding to the trails. I saw men and women of all ages and teenagers.

North entrance is the entrance to the one way off-road trails. Parts are shared with horses but I have not seen them on the trail. The trails are a nice mix of tame riding to advanced. I have yet to explore the 2 advanced loops. There is a rocky section. Lots of twists and 360 banked turns, a small boardwalk section, and plenty of tight flat jungle. They built a series of mounds on the back section that are supper fun!! There is a small parking lot but plenty of parking. There is a bathroom. Volunteers maintain the trails.
