It is no exaggeration to say that this is the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere inside is simply excellent. The service is very warm, and the sushi is also delicious, especially the little sushi guy. It is very interesting, lively and cheerful. It helps me a lot. I will come here often.

This place is the gem of Jennings. I always order the Chef’s specialty rolls (the Haley’s is my favorite) the owner is so kind and the staff is always friendly! The price is fair for the excellent options. I love eating at this place! 😋

Love this place. Best place to get sushi in town. Also the best fried rice in town.

japanese food is most often beautiful & tasty, but often rather expensive & typically with small portions. the food at tokyo japan in jennings was beautiful, beautifully presented & very tasty & i could not finish what i ordered. brought home the tokyo salad untouched. i ordered some odds & ends off the usual beaten path for japanese food for lunch: house tokyo soup (astoundingly spicy & tasty if not a little salty with little surprise bits of carmelized onions--little flavor bombs), onion petals (actually they were tempura onions--enough for 2 or 3 people), seaweed salad--much better than chinese buffet style, & the tokyo salad, also a couple of kirin beers ($3 each--unbelievably good price). the wait staff were very attentive & very nice. service was faster than i needed. the place is quiet & dark (very intimate). i sat facing the aquarium...very relaxing lunch break. the reckoning was $33 & i have the untouched salad for lunch tomorrow. i will definitely return & the next time i will know to expect generous portion & probably order less.

I love sushi so I will be going back for more. I am happy the hostess was very nice and professional and my food took less than 10 minutes. Very nice decor. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was so comfy and cozy. My husband and I and our 3 children went to meet up with friends for lunch. Our waitress was nice and polite. For the amount of food we had and considering the preparation of the food, our order came out promptly. The portion size was great! The price was fair for the service, amount of food, and the atmosphere.

The soup/salad was refreshing. The hibachi and sushi was AMAZING!! Definitely visit and I’m sure you’ll agree. We even had leftovers, I just wish we had not of forgotten it on the table!

We can’t wait to go back soon!

FYI: The women’s bathroom was very clean, if that’s something that’s important to you.

Food was all amazing! Had the udon noodles and some sushi rolls, it was all delicious. Restaurant is also very clean and the decoration was so cute. The service was very good as well

Stopped here to grab a bite and stretch our legs after being on the road for awhile.food was delicious. Service was excellent. My homey told the server we were on my birthday road trip and she had them whip up a delicious fried ice cream!! Served with sparklers! Totally made my day! Extra special since I was born right here in Jennings!!

5 stars because every single time we visit this establishment, the food and service are spot on! Calamari...perfect, Haley Roll...absolutely delicious. Cocktails, New appetizer,Tako Yaki...outstanding! Wilford, AWESOME! All the staff has treated us so well and are so accomidating. It is our "go to" spot. It never disappoints! If there were more stars, they would would get those too! We Love our Tokyo Japan!❤

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. I don't generally enjoy seafood (fishsticks, salmon, and tilapia are as far as I go) and sushi is not really my thing either (with Sushi Choo-Choo being my previous sushi-related experience), but this was delightful. I had their Spicy Salmon Cruch Roll (deep-fried) and the Philly Roll (also deep-fried), and both were fantastic. Our waitresses were so kind, patient, and helpful. I definately reccomend visiting with friends and/or family. The restaurant itself is quite elegent and homey.

I love everything about this place! I already love sushi and they make it with fresh ingredients! The atmosphere is so relaxing! Perfect for crazy day lunch time to find your peace. The staff is so wonderful and helpful! We always get the same waiter and we love him. 5 stars all the way around! 😍🍱

Pretty dang good. Took my kids there for Valentine's day. Food was good, sushi was great and I had a ton of food with my order. Plenty to take home and very friendly management that even came checked on our table.

Surprisingly good! Service was decent, nice server, place looked clean not too big but not small, perfect for the town, now the food was good, wasn't expecting the food to be that good, but we really enjoyed it, now they could be a little bit more generous on the sushi rolls but what we good was decent and tasty, keep it up....

Amazing food and incredible service!!!!

For Jennings this is a good place to get your sushi fix. Some of the waitresses go above and beyond to serve their customers, and some really could care less about what's going on and play on their phones. Food is good.

Good is always fresh, store is clean and well organized!
Staff is 👍 polite, professional, and very attentive.

I come here often and have never been disappointed.
