Swordslinger Custom Holsters

I have had everything from gun holsters to rifle slings and axe scabbards made by Swordslinger and you simply will not find better craftsmanship, customer support and attention to detail anywhere else. Amazing handmade leather products at a fair price.

I looked at Matthew's holsters for a while, the long lead times were holding me back from ordering.

Finally I decided to pull the trigger and order a black cowhide with red stitches and red liner for my P229 Elite.
Two days latter I ordered a brown elephant with green turtle inlay on the stiffner for my CGW P01.

And, wait I did!

But, every second of the wait was worth it! At the end, I was rewarded with two very different holster, each a work of art!!!

The gun fit, finish and details are unlike any of the many other leather holster I own!!! You can tell the Maker takes pride on his work!!

Communicating with Matthew was easy and pleasant. His patience was evident when I changed the design of the 🐘 holster several times!!

So, after seeing what I received and testing the fit, I couldn't resist and ordered another holster for my LTT 92G......this one will be green ostrich leg, with green ostrich leg stiffner, green stitches to match and green liner to match as well.

This custom leather holster is a superlative piece of craftsmanship. This is what all holster makers should aspire to. The fit and finish are beautiful and I cannot think of a better maker out there. Just got my holster and mag carrier from Matthew for my Staccato CS and it fits perfectly. Functional, comfortable work of art. Has that new holster smell. This is my 4th holster from him and the work has been perfect each time. Highly recommend.

Great care was taken upon the design and construction of this holster. It fits my Colt Python better than a glove and is very aesthetically pleasing. It is also nice to know that there is no other holster exactly like mine.

Absolutely fantastic leatherwork. This was my first leather holster, i went for an IWB for a full size Canik pistol and it fits and seats so comfortably on my hip. The matching pistol case is very nice as well and he let me request his logo on the top of it. Slightly pricier than a premade kydex and you'll have to wait a bit for it but its absolutely worth it for the quality and comfort. 5 stars all around

You can really feel the quality from the start. Truly a true piece of handmade leatherwork. I have 2 holsters and a mag carrier from them. You can see the craftsmanship in every facet of the work. Hand stitching, molding, edging and finish. This was an incredible investment. These are definitely not store bought holsters. Don't have to worry about retention due to the hand molding the holster to the gun. There are other beautiful pieces than holsters and mag carriers. The customer service is great. Matthew is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Swordslinger holsters are the absolute best money can buy. Each one is hand cut, hand molded and hand stitched for baseball glove like fit that you just can not get from the holsters sold in retail stores.

Pros:

• Retention is solid... not kidding, it’s perfect.

• Fit and finish are perfect

• Looks are nice and clean, even for a handmade product!

• Comfort is unbeatable, it just gets better the more you wear it.

• Style is essentially custom, so you can’t go wrong there.

• Ruggedness is awesome. I have several different holsters from Swordslinger and all of them have held up with no problems.

• Solid American made product! I’ve actually been to his production facility and seen what he does first hand. You wouldn’t believe the amount of work that goes into these holsters until you have seen it go from raw leather to finished product.

I have purchased an IWB hybrid, an OWB holster and a hybrid magazine carrier for a Sig P229 and couldn't be happier with the fit, workmanship, service or value. Built rugged and I am confident will be serviceable for many years to come. Truly a great pleasure dealing with the owner and I am glad that he is likely to be producing notable work for decades to come. I recently added a custom belt, double magazine carrier and holster for a full-sized 1911. Customer service is outstanding and his work is a beautiful representation of leather as functional art.

First the boring stuff. Excellent communication from the owner. Quick shipping and easy transaction.

Now on to the really good stuff. This holster is a triple threat; it looks good, fits my firearm perfectly, and is perfectly constructed. Really impressed! The lining that they do is pretty rare in the holster industry and makes a big difference. The shape and style are unique and really stand out while not being too "loud." I own several high end custom leather holsters from various top makers and this one is seriously right up there.

Had a talk about something that hasn't been popular in a couple decades (auto opening sheath for a Buck 110), Matthew was honest and said he had never made one, but always wanted to. I put my trust in him, and I had a custom, one of a kind, exotic hide sheath in hand in an amazing timeline. This thing is such good quality, I might have to dump a whole bunch more money to upgrade all of my holsters. 5 stars. You have made a customer for life!

Matt’s craftsmanship and attention to detail are top notch. Great communication throughout the process. My understanding is that he is a second generation craftsman, which made it even more special seeing pictures on Facebook of his young son sitting in his lap working on my holster. I had Mathew make a custom binder to hold my registration papers for my cattle. It is beautiful ans artfully crafted. Hes making me a custom 1911 holster now and I can't wait to see how its going to turn out. Awesome craftsmanship
