El Jarocho

Love coming here. It’s usually very busy but it doesn’t matter the staff are always on top of everything! You will never have an empty cup. The food is always really good! They have tons of options on the menu for all to enjoy. The Margaritas are so good!

We have been staying at the hotel behind this restaurant during the cold spell, we decided to get out of our room for a bit on a warmer day and had dinner here. The restaurant is clean and comfortable inside. We sat down quickly and they had the salsa and chips at our table immediately, they even brought 3 bowls(usually we only get 2 because for some reason most people don't notice children exist) and our son was excited to get his own. My wife ordered something she didn't like by mistake and we were just going to share my meal since it wasn't the restaurants fault but they were very persistent and accommodating getting her food replaced and we had a great meal after that. Would definitely recommend anyone take their family there!

I wasn't sure where to go as I've never been to Oklahoma before and I really was craving Mexican food and I found this place I wasn't too sure when I pulled up but once I walked inside the smell was amazing It was friendly it was inviting and then the food came I'll tell you what you need to order the street tacos absolutely delicious I had to stay ones I wish I lived in this area cuz I would definitely be back... also for the record you will not leave hungry they are very well proportioned

Here in Checotah, OK shut this big rig down for the evening and seen this restaurant.. I am happy with the service, food, and great prices.. I would recommend this place to anyone that comes through here..

Update: Tonight I ordered "beef" Fajitas. They were amazing. I always request grilled jalapenos to be added to the dish. I try to keep it low carb so do not get the rice and beans and tortillas (which are all great.) But I do get the pico de Gallo, sour cream and guacamole. They always provide generous portions, amazing friendly service and yummy meals.

I ordered Chili Relleno's. Which were not my favorite I have had, but they were ok.

We also ordered a side of guacamole and queso. Both were excellent!

We also ordered Medium margaritas on the rocks. They were wonderful. They did rim with something other than margarita salt, but I drank the margaritas with a straw, so it was ok.

Having just moved here, I am excited to find a good Mexican Restaurant nearby.

My husband enjoyed his Taco al Pastor, but you will have to see his review. He thought they were perfect.

We went back to El Jarocho this past Friday and I had the steak street tacos. While they were pretty good I did end up asking for some Pico de Gallo because I thought they needed a bit more heat. Maybe I just like my food a bit more spicy than most. Not sure.

Yummy Mexican food! To go service was fast and accurate. The Gringo tacos(I got soft chicken) were delicious! The Pico is fresh and very good. Chips and salsa were great. The sopapilla was so good, even my hubby liked it.

¡Delicioso! I got the Burrito La Frontera with chicken. The chicken was incredibly flavorful. Outstanding! Everything was hot and fresh, and served quickly. Regrettably, I don't live around here, but I'd love to come back and try more things on their huge menu.

We love it but I'm very partial to Mexican food. Blanco queso is great and food is tasty! Margerita on the rocks was very good and beware if you order a large beer - it's LARGE and for a very good price! I don't think you can go wrong on their menu either - we've ordered a lot of various dishes and enjoyed them all!

We loved this place!! Eddie was our server...FAST AND FRIENDLY! I had the taco salad...sooooo good! My husband had the parrailla dish (not sure thats spelled right lol) but he loved it!! We had their 32oz margaritas...HOLY CRAP....PERFECT 👌 and the prices were VERY REASONABLE!

Loved this place. Right beside a truck stop. Great service loved the food. Place was very clean. Even watched them cleaning outside windows before they opened. Will stop again when load brings me this wat.

Had the Jaracho Fajitas and they did not disappoint!

The food was excellent, I haven't had Mexican food since my mom's cooking but I think this place just replaced her.

Loved it. I got the Stevens special which I would recommend. It's rice fajita meat and white cheese. I got a double thinking I would have some to take home but I ate it all.

This was our first time here and it was really great 👍👍👍👍 We had the Fajitas Mixtas and they were perfect. Delicious 😋😋 Very worth while stopping by. The waiters are very attentive and polite. 👍👍👍👍👍

Food was excellent. Service was great. Would go again if I lived nearby, but I'm just traveling through. Will definitely remember to come again though if ever back thisi way.

Amazing, delicious, fairly priced, sensibly portioned food!
I get the small, because I am small. And I STILL can't finish an entire plate!
Sundays, no margaritas till 3 pm, but trust me. They are worth the wait!
Food is outstanding, service is perfection, tip the hell out of them and come back twice, it's worth it!

Delicious and authentic food. I don’t usually eat all the food on my plate but this was muy bueno to the max. Will drive from OKC to eat here again!

The food is super good. The Staff are always friendly and attentive. Best Margaritas around.
