Gore Drug

We were camping at Greenleaf State Park for a few days and I forgot my medication. The pharmacist called my pharmacy, transferred the prescription, looked up my insurance and got me what I needed. I was there less than 30 minutes and back to my vacation. That's service.

I will shop at Gore Drug before I go to Wally World pharmacy or anywhere else. Chris and his Team are Great people and have always been a pleasure to do business with.

Nice friendly staff. Will work with you and your doctors and your insurance. Very helpful. And if they do not have what you need they will try to order it in.

These people have been very kind and helpful to my family. They go out of their way to make sure we have what we need, and their waiting area is always tidy and clean.

As I was traveling through the area and my prescriptions were being mailed to me. There was a delay and the pharmacists at Gore Drug went above and beyond to help me get the medicines I needed.

Small town pharmacy that knows your name when you open the door. I have a spinal cord injury and the meds that are prescribed to me are not always common meds but GP has always gotten it within 24hrs of my asking...

Great customer service

We had 2 prescriptions "filled" here. One of the prescriptions they did not give us the right amount. The other prescription had to be changed. The doctor wrote a prescription for a nausea cream, instead they tried to give us pills. Our 5 year old can't take pills. So there solution was to give us the liquid form of the pills which they said was not covered by our insurance so it would be $60. Finally we were able to get the cream. By the way, this had already been made known by my wife when she tried to get the prescription the first time, and they did the same thing to me when I went to get it later.

We found out about the other prescription having the wrong amount when it was time to give my son his first dose. The first dose was 1 tsp, followed by 1/2 tsp for the next 4 days. This would be a total of 3 tsp needed in the bottle. We gave him the first dose, and all that was left in the bottle was 1/2 a tsp.

So today, my wife went to get the problem corrected so our son could get better, and she was cussed out and told to get out of the pharmacy, by the owner, because they do 30 of those a day and "never make a mistake." This is the point where my wife explained to them that apparently they do because the same thing had happened to a prescription for our niece.

This is the worst place to do business. They are to busy having people come in to talk to, rather than actually helping their customers. If you can't do your job right, then don't take an attitude when someone comes in for a correction. To take an attitude with my wife because she was trying to get the right medication for our son is completely unacceptable and inappropriate.

I have been going to this pharmacy over 2 years off and on for my medicine. I only returned as they are the closest pharmacy. Each time I get a prescription sent in, They get my copay wrong because I have two insurances. Each time I have to make them run both to cover the costs, And each time I offer to give them my second insurance info again because they didn't run it. Their response? "Oh we have it on file." If you have it on file then why do I have to hound you every time to run it to cover the costs?! It's tedious. I have never had these issues at a Wal-mart or Walgreens. They seem to drop the ball a lot if it isn't a simple over the counter medicine. I only return to this location if I don't have time to run to a Wal-mart. I'm usually not one to leave bad reviews, But enough is enough. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. So please ensure all of your insurance info is correct whenever you pick up your medication so you don't get ripped off!
