Darlington Country Club

Used this course as a middle point to golf with my father. We absolutely loved the course. Beautiful spot. Great clubhouse and a nice little proshop. Practice green is immense and has the same speed/roll as the greens on the course. There is a nice little range for a quick warm up as well. The course itself is very pretty. I think that it was established almost 100 years ago, so there are some really nice old trees and really nice contours.
There is decent rough that doesn't punish you too badly, but does make you think. The greens on the course receive spin really well and roll true and fast. The staff there is all very polite and helpful.

The only down side to the day was we were stuck behind a 5 some all day and they were stuck behind a REALLY slow 4 some. I would mark a star off for allowing a 5 some if they weren't actually faster than the group ahead of them. The back 9 was REALLY backed up because of that group with holes 12-18 all having 3 groups on the hole every time we stepped to the tee.

Highly recommend a stop at Darlington CC if you are looking for some golf in the area.

You owe it to yourself to check out the Darlington Country Club for any event! Whether it is a birthday gathering, wedding event or shower, you will not regret it. From the time that I made my initial inquiry for my sister’s bridal shower, I was treated with great customer service! If I had questions or concerns before the event, the team was always available to answer any questions that I had. The venue provides several options for spacing, in and out and the Meeting Room accommodated our group wonderfully. The premises are well kept, and the grounds are beautiful. The grounds would serve wonderfully for outside events.
Not only was the food very good but the presentation of the food was perfect. Details made the difference, and the staff was very attentive to our group. Everyone approached us with a smile. Loved it! The group was comfortable and there were no complaints. Thank you, Tim, Nancy, Christine, Jim, and Darlington Country Club Staff for making this special occasion a wonderful event for my sister!

Great experience. Food was delicious. Great place to celebrate Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc 115 years!!

This is a great course that keeps improving. The greens are master level difficulty with undulations and crowing that call for careful planning on each approach. If you end up with a downhill putt and blow it, you could eaisly be off the green again. There is a great mix of challenges here.

Our dinner/dance event was handled wonderfully by the DCC staff. They were all very accommodating and took care of our group with a high level of kind service.

Such a beautiful clubhouse! Had an event there today and it was remarkably peaceful and fun. Super good food and staff. Highly recommended.

Greens were fast. Fairways were pretty decent. Also staff was very friendly to me. They just need more signs out there for first timers there!

I play here pretty frequently and although I am not a member, I am treated as though I am one. Awesome staff, great food and nice conditions. Please remember to tip the desk attendant, I think a lot of folks forget that the customer service that you receive here is quite exceptional compared to other courses in the greater Florence area.

Went with an old St John's classmate class of 67 and played golf with our son's now in their 40s and we had a ball. Angela at the front desk was so gracious to all of us and the course was challenging and we'll kept. Met old friends on the course and enjoyed a wonderful day of golf. I would recommend the restaurant to all who visit Darlington food is great and some of the best prices in our beautiful little city. I give the club, staff and restaurant a superb rating.

We are fortunate enough to own a small home on Black Creek, and our property borders the Country Club. We were able to become out of area members, this year, as our primary residence is still in Alaska. Everyone that works for the Country Club has treated us so well, and have been so helpful. Their foods are delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing, and it is, always fun to visit the bar, for a good adult beverage. We look forward to more time here.

Definitely the best value in the Pee Dee area. Wonderful golf course, classic golf course architecture, greens that roll very nicely (there's a couple that are patchy), and some of the coolest tee shots you'll see, including one off the back lawn of the clubhouse!

New owners with very high standards have done a tremendous job with not only the clubhouse. But the tennis courts and golf course as well. Brand new tennis courts and pickleball courts.

Great atmosphere for the Darlington Study Club meeting today. We were served a wonderful Strawberry Shortcake. Great meeting!

A great value and a fun course. Members are extremely friendly and food is outstanding. Highly recommend this to first time golfers!

It was very nice. Remodeled and the staff was very attentive. The owner came around to check and always had a smile.

The course is returning to its former glory through diligent attention to the greens. Staff is friendly and helpful.
