Nucor Steel South Carolina (Darlington)

This visit wasn't bad, compared to my last. I picked up slinkys, so the wait time and tarping was longer than the load time. I had a 2pm appointment, got checked in at 12 pm ,around 1:25 they was calling me up. It took about 5 minutes for the forklift driver to load the trailer. Check out was more of a hassle, but other than that, wasn't too bad, but I will say it you might be longer if getting bars and angles.

Appointment was honored, loaded relatively quickly expected aluminum steel or steel coils but it was slinkies so do know that they may say coils and mean slinky coils so set up accordingly or ask.

Got there at 8 for a 9am apt. Got pulled into building by apt time. Was loaded and rolling by 1030. Id guess that dealing with some of us thru out the day can be stressful. Id recommend showing up early.

I work for Thompson. Im telling u Its whole lot better now Priscilla and Dion doing a great job. They try to get you out fast is possible. They doing a amazing job. Finally some great workers with positive energy. Thank y'all Priscilla and Dion!!

I was in and out, the forklift loader was cool, had an 5a.m appt, loaded with slinky coils was out by 7:15a.m the lady at night had me nervous when I seen her, 😍 I heard some drivers say she's mean well she can be mean to me anytime 😁, she was helpful explaining to me where to go and how to check in probably, it was my first time their👍🏾

@Omy Gonzalez... I would not be proud of the securement of your load that you posted pics of. Straps over angle iron with no wooden blocks between the bundles... real safe, real professionalism, good way to have the load shift and kill someone. Take the job seriously or get out of flatbed ding.

Appointment at 2200 checked in 2130 they called for me before I had my dunnage down it's 2206 dropping another lift on probably 1 more to go. You know how picking up steel is stop complaining pipe yard in Houston in the rain is always fun.

*Unloading Alloys* Pretty quick to unload. In and out in 45 minutes. They started calling for me around 6:45 AM
