Meier’s General Store

This place is was the greatest little store out in the country. The people were great and very helpful. With my bait selection. Also got lunch there, there sandwich was great. The next morning I had breakfast, it was very delicious.. breakfast call Jay's egg. It was to die for.. place looks very nice that there remodelling the place. Thanks for the great hospitality.

We stopped in to get a pie. The one they had I believe was chocolate caramel cream pie. It is quite tasty. It is topped with squares of Hershey chocolate bar. The bars are fine, but really don't add anything to the pie. I was thinking this morning that crumbled up butterfinger sprinkled on the top of this pie would knock it out of the park. But as far as pie's go, it is very good.

Nice light flaky crust, thick creamy caramel and chocolate cream center, topped with whipped cream. So good. Not too sweet, just a little salty. Yum!

I also grabbed a bag of what I thought were chocolate chip cookies. They were very good, but discovered they had walnuts in them which I am allergic to and my mouth started having a reaction.

So I suggest the store label their cookies, and if you have allergies be sure to ask what is in them. It was my mistake not being more attentive.

I absolutely love this place. I highly recommend you try their baked goods, especially the pies! Not only are they delicious, the presentation is like no other! Most recently I stopped by and had chili for lunch. I wish I had saved room for a cookie, or three. The employees are very welcoming and kind. I enjoy stopping by every chance I get!

Meier’s is a fantastic store, I love that I can get my breakfast or my lunch there while I get bait and find out what is biting all at the same time. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The specials are great along with the sandwiches. Best place to stop on your way to fish.

Great place to stop for bait and tackle. Be sure to grab a bag of oatmeal cookies, and in the mornings they have breakfast items. Try the sausage breakfast burrito. You won't be disappointed.

Service was excellent. Lunch specials and homemade bakery goods are delicious. Homemade pies, cobblers and cookies are stellar!!!

I bought a blackberry pie and apple and i didn't like either one especially the blackberry to several people said it didn't taste like blackberry

It's claiming to be open at 6am so I drove all the way there and guess what there not open what a joke
