Let me preface this review by stating that I own and remotely manage a rental property. I hired a local to ensure that the site was regularly maintained as needed. I did not know before hiring this person that she and Bobby were friends- hence why these events have proceeded in this manner. I just went out to the property for the first time in a while, and discovered the true state of Bobby’s “work”.

We hired Bobby and his company originally just to maintain our pool. We asked him to maintain it throughout the year, so that it would stay continually clean, and running so that the pipes would not potentially freeze during the winter. Instead, Bobby decided to winterize the pool, and left it uncovered for the entire year, allowing all sorts of things to fall into the water. He continued to charge us for maintenance throughout the year, while the crud in the pool built up. Now, we have to find someone not just to clean the pool out, but to de-winterize it, and to make sure that there isn’t any lasting damage from both his negligence (such as frozen pipes, and erosion from the toxicity of the winterizing chemicals). When we sent out a technician from another company to check out the site, they discovered that our warehouse- which previously had been fully stocked with pool maintaining chemicals- was now empty.

We also hired Bobby to maintain our lawn and shrubbery. He asked what the limit of our budget was, and we foolishly told him. He agreed to do the maintenance “luckily” at the exact limit of our budget. When we asked for pictures, he sent a few, and they looked good. He continued to charge us for the yard maintenance on a monthly basis, sometimes adding a few hundred dollars here and there for “extra work”. He also charged us fairly regularly for trash removal. Needless to say, we have discovered that no work has actually been done on the property’s lawn and shrubbery in months, nearly a year, and there is trash littering the place.

Bobby had been hired to do a number of maintenance projects. He charged us for each and every one that he was hired to do- regardless of whether he had actually done the work. The latest example was a structural defect that needed a repair. We waited for him to do the work for over a month, before hiring someone else to come by and do the work. The new technician got the work done almost immediately- and found that the defect actually needed a full replacement, not just a repair. This didn’t stop Bobby from charging us for it, though!

Bobby was hired to paint a property. Again, he asked us for a budget, and we told him- and again, “luckily”, he could do it for exactly the limit of our budget. We wanted him to fix any little issues with the walls, and paint them a lovely, neutral grey. Instead, he left the walls a disaster zone, and painted them sloppily a bright baby blue. He left up horrendous wallpaper we had asked to be removed, he left holes in the walls, even damaged door and window frames. The painting job was so horrendous that we have no choice but to hire someone not just to do the original work, but to amend the damages done by Bobby’s “work”.

Finally, when Bobby was confronted about these issues, he screamed at my employees and me, continuously, until he was told to leave the property. We have now been forced to take security measures, to ensure that he does not trespass on the premises.

I gave this company 1 star because it wouldn’t let me do zero.

Bobby the owner of this company does not stand by anything he does. I left state when they started my pool only to come back to my fence cut on one side of the yard and two broken poles for my gate on the other side of the yard. I told Bobby that I had to have a fenced in yard for my dogs, and he told me that he couldn’t fix it until the cement was finished. Then The one reason I hired Bobby was because he said he would move my spa from my deck to the cement pad around the pool. I paid for everything except for the last $300 to insure that he finishes and he refuses to fix my fence or move my spa.

Not to mention he left my yard a terrible mess. I had to make 4 trips to the dump with my truck and a 12’ trailer cleaning up after him and his men, and their cement cracked in two weeks.

I would highly recommend using someone else.
