We love the personal pizzas at River Eatery! There are so many excellent combinations and the crust is TO DIE FOR 🤩 They have a few salads to accompany the pizza (we loved the Greek salad with lightly ROASTED tomatoes?!) and it’s nice that the portion sizes have increased under new management. 🥗 The fact that the restaurant is connected to a bookstore is extra sauce on the pizza pie. 📚Speaking of pie, save room and go next door to have a slice of Tilly’s Pies 🥧 It’s truly better than homemade! PS.. The restaurant gets very busy on summer nights and event weekends. Puts the nice selection of microbrews to good use.

The best pizzas we’ve ever had, including award winning pizza in Italy and from Top Chef winners in Denver/Boulder! Pizza with some interesting & flavorful ingredients but not overly odd/weird combos, served hot, bubbling & promptly. Great sides & craft beer selection. Nice atmosphere inside, set up for easy ordering and individual menus.Lovely outdoor tables under the trees too.

We had a great pizza sitting outdoors on the patio with our dogs. Great beer and I highly recommend the Spirit Creek pizza if you like pulled pork 👍And the Siskiwit Salad was awesome.

What a fun spot! Our family all loved our experience here. An outdoor tether ball area, nice outdoor seating, great staff and selections. It is tough to find anywhere in this area of WI that offers gluten free options. Thanks! We will be back.

One of our very favorite spots for a meal in the greater Hayward area. Customer service has always been superb. Good variety of beers on tap. Pizzas are delicious. Salads fresh and made with quality produce. The gift/bookshop at the front of the building is adorable too — I always find something there. Make sure to check out the pie place next door as well.

Absolutely delicious pizza! We had heard about this place and we were excited to try it. We were not disappointed! Can't wait to go back and try different pizzas here!

Absolutely incredible! We tried about 6 different kinds of pizza and each was better than the next! They came out fast and hot and were among the best I've had. On a cold winter night in Cable, The Rivers was a welcome stop.

Stopped here on our way into the woods, lots of reading material, guidebooks and a few souvenirs. Coffee shop / book store vibe with a pizza joint in back. Good place to stop for a last minute flora guide or camp read. I’ll be back next time I’m up camping in this area.

Laid back atmosphere that you would be just as comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt as a 3 piece suit, friendly service, and THE BEST PIZZA I have had in like forever. A real must go place. If you walked through a book store on the way to your seat, you found the place

We had salads and pizza when we ate here. The salad was simply amazing. The lettuce was crisp, the dressing was homemade and the bread was one of a kind. The pizza was gourmet. We were very impressed with the gluten free crust that is very hard to find let alone in a gourmet pizza.

Pizza was excellent. On the small side, but filling and unique. We love the Thai style pie. Super long wait, but it's Chequamagon weekend and they had a big tent set up outside. Gotta make hay!

Pizza and salads are great, good beer selection. As good as it gets for wood fired pizza Up North. Be sure to ✔ out the retro bikes and ski gear that adorn the walls as well as local artwork by disadvantaged artists. friendly staff as well, plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor. Great pizzas and an AMAZING staff. Highly recommended. The pizzas are both standard and unusual ingredients, so most are very interesting. A hidden very large jewel in a small town. Don't pass it by.

This pizza is the real deal, I wish we had something that came close somewhere in Milwaukee. Fresh tasty ingredients, amazing crust and sauce, and perfect symmetry and balance. Nice space to eat outside and entertain the fam while waiting. *chefs kiss*

Super tasty pizza with gourmet-type ingredients, served extremely quickly. Tons of beverage selections, including quite a few NA beer! Cozy ambiance focused on highlighting the local sports - skiing and fat tire biking.
