The Ugly Mutt Restaurant and Bar

We are repeat customers here. They probably have the best wings in Lancaster county, and the rest of their food is good too. The only disappointment is their nachos (they're ok, but could be better), yet we get them anyway. The service is great; the bartenders keep your drink full and the servers are attentive. Everyone is really friendly and it has a great small-town feel. As far as atmosphere goes, it's a bar with a restaurant. Don't go here if you are expecting a romantic dinner. Some nights they do karaoke, there's a jukebox, and it's usually busy.

It was open late on a weeknight while visiting my daughter at Lincoln University the food was great! Friendly and fast service, place is spic and span clean. nice environment. we had the chicken tenders served perfectly and ended with a hot fudge brownie sundae wonderful and big enough for all of us to share. This will be a regular stop during visits to the area

The atmosphere is great and the food is just as good. I eat there at least once a week. The drinks are great. Definitely not watered down. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

My very first experience at the Ugly Mutt was a total surprise….. a surprise birthday party for myself! The staff was awesome, and the food was delicious! They went above and beyond! I would recommend them for any private event or party you may be having!!

Me and my family are always looking for new restaurants to try, especially ones that aren't big chains, but it seems like were always disappointed in the end... well not this time!!! The Ugly Mutt was an all around great experience! The food was amazing (I recommend the ribs) and the service was top notch! I have 13, 9 and 3 year old boys and all 3 ate all their food (which never happens) and not one had a single complaint about anything (which also never happens). The atmosphere is not so loud that you can't talk but not so quiet that I feel like my kids are the loudest in the place. It was an all around great time! We will definitely be going back! P.S. I don't usually tip 20% especially since at most places the service is far less than great but our waitress, I believe her name was stephani, was extremely friendly, on top of everything and she made my family feel like regulars!! she deserved every penny!!!!! I would recommend this place to my friends and family!!

We have been here now 5 weeks in a row. After the first week the staff remembered what we drank and what we ate. The food is outstanding. We have tried something new every week and everything has been delicious. I would definitely recommend it. They are Covid responsible with plexiglass between the booths and social distancing between the tables. Would definitely recommend it if you need a night out.

Nobody makes the Chicken Ceasar Salad better than the Ugly Mutt, best ever. Food is delicious. Staff and service is very good. Love it.

Had lunch here last Friday. Great burger! Fresh coleslaw on the burger along with cheese, bacon, fried onions and onion rings. With a side of fries.
Great wait staff. Seemed like it might be a fun place but I was there in between lunch and happy hour. Will be back

Blew our expectations out of the water! The burgers were outstanding..we will be coming back to try them all. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Our new favorite place to eat in Oxford.

Wow! It's pretty awesome you guys replied that fast. To be honest Google maps on Android now has a system that will make recommendations based on food type and restaurant ratings. I really just thought that I was rating my preference for american/bar food. You guys are a fantastic local restaurant and I'm truly sorry I have not taken the time to give you guys a REAL review. I'll fix that soon enough. You guys rock!

Great food! Best wings I've ever had! They use to have pretty bad service, but it seems like things have turned around for the better. I'm going to miss this spot when I move. Definitely a must try!

We were driving home from BWI on Friday night and were looking for a place to eat. Our GPS took us a different route home due to Baltimore traffic, and I'm so grateful because it led us to Oxford
This place served the best wings, amazing burgers, and flavorful French Onion soup. In fact, the food is so good, I'll be actively looking for an excuse to drive through Oxford again.

What a great place to eat and have a few beers. This was our first time there, everyone was extremely nice and the food was awesome. If looking for a comfortable, friendly bar to grab some good food and a few beers this is the place to go. Check it out.

Rolled in about 10 Friday night after seeing the Herr's Christmas lights. We were greeted by Andrea who waited on us did a great job and very cheerful after having waited on a busy crowd two hours earlier still had enough energy for us with great service. Great food the Christmas decor and Ambiance put a nice evening nightcap on for us
