Wonderful family owned restaurant. Military serviced family and everyone was polite. The food was outta this world. Hand made chicken? Sign me up. I am coming back.

Incredible place! Going through I-93 We stopped to fill in Barton-VT, in front of the fuel station is this beautiful snack bar! Brand new! The snacks were wonderful. Impeccable bathroom cleaning! We will be back soon.

This place is everything a restaurant that serves this kind of food should be. The homemade fries & onion rings are superb. You can get a beer or two. The burger looked great, the only thing that would have improved it was a better tomato. Chicken tenders were a little tough but they also seemed to be homemade, and with a different coating than the onion rings to boot. Highly recommend.

The staff were able to accommodate us and all of our luggage after an unfortunate encounter with a deer on the highway. They were friendly and helpful, super warm and understanding, and we were grateful for the delicious food, cold beers, and clean and welcoming space where we could hang for hours waiting for our ride. This is a place we will definitely return!

Fresh hand dipped fried fish sandwich, fresh cut and breaded onion rings, fresh cut french fries, delicious burgers, great prices,large portions! Very Friendly staff. We are family visiting from Florida and Ohio and staying one night in this area. Would highly recommend Nicks!

Food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Steak and cheese, burgers, and chicken tenders along with onion rings - all excellent. We stopped here based on reviews and the reviews were right - one of the best burger etc shacks I've found to date.

A friend told us about Nicky's this morning and we went by for lunch. the fries and onion rings are handmade. The italian sausage that my dad had was huge. We can not wait to go back. If you are in the area well worth stopping.

So glad to have found this little gem! We were looking for a place to have lunch after visiting Willoughby Lake and decided on Nick's Snack Shack based on it's good reviews and close proximity (about 11 min drive) to the lake. Simply stating, we loved this place :) Everything about the place - from the homely cozy ambience and super nice servers to the really delicious food - was AWESOME!!! The people there put in sincere effort to make you feel welcome and to make your dining experience a sweet, memorable one. Also, the place is pet friendly - we had our lunch in the outdoor dining area with our furry family member by our side! Highly recommend this place :)

Absolutely phenomenal food! Service is the most friendly we have experienced. Menu is awesome, portions are large and prices are very reasonable! Love the atmosphere. Highly highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

I had the philly cheese steaks and fries and my mom had a cheese burger. Both were delicious. Good portion of fries. Brand new modern place with a cool retro garage decor. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back : ).

This place is AWESOME. Opened in honor of an fallen hero Nick. The car theme is carried out to a tee. The food is spot on. SO good. The owner is lovely. We went 3 times in a matter of a 4 day trip to Barton. This place is worth going out if your way for.

We are so happy that we found Nick's! Fun to look at all the items and flags that decorate this service proud establishment. The ladies were very friendly and the food was fantastic. I stopped here on my way home after exploring some local attractions and I am glad I did. I am absolutely serious when I say it was the best bacon cheeseburger or any type cheeseburger I have ever had. If I lived in town this would be my go to spot. The bun was incredible. The fries were a heaping portion and most came home with me. If I am ever passing through again, I will absolutely stop in again. The 5 Guys chain wishes they could make a burger this good.

This is truly a restaurant with heart. Dedicated to the life given by young local Vet, this restaurant is run by his dedicated family. The food is delicious and they now have beer !
More than just a Hamburgers joint! They have a large menu. Something for everyone in your party. I personally love the onion rings. Easy to access from the snowmobile trails and plenty of room to park your 4 wheelers and off road toys. Try this friendly eatery and support our local businesses as well as our fallen.

Ate here several times. Good food, very relaxed atmosphere with unique decor. Taco Tuesday 5 thumbs up. They offer a Military past and present discount in memory of a lost loved one, pretty cool.
