Chaps Pit Beef

Saw this establishment on DDD (diner drive-in and dives) and as a person who loves bbq,I had to try this out. Nearest location was 2.5 hours away but it was well worth it. There's a full menu to choose from. Portions are pretty good as well. Met the owners of this particular location and they were awesome. Asking people how their food was and very friendly. Employees were very professional as well. The photo attached is a SECRET and not on menu. BBB bread beef and brisket. Along with macaroni and cheese. It's to die for. Hoping to go back there soon and trying something new. Would of brought food home but LONG ride home....

I'm from East Baltimore and Chaps is an institution there, so when I saw one way up here in PA I had to try it, both to see how it is and to feel at home again.
It did not disappoint. The pit beef was perfectly cooked(rare is the only way to go) and the gravy fries were delicious.
Tasted like home/10 would eat again.

Ordered online for pickup 🛻 but when I got there, it (food) was ready and the indoor seating was empty so I decided to dine there. Food 🥘 was delicious. Got a pulled pork, and corn beef sandwich as well as fried with nacho cheese 🧀 😋. The service was great and the folks working in there friendly. The indoor dining seating options were impressive with lots of TVs located at vantage points in the restaurant. Delicious food and a menu with options for everyone including kids 👏🏾. Cheers 🍻

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Guy's Triple D online, and I was not disappointed. Plenty of smoky flavor, the meats (pit beef, corned beef & sausage) were perfectly cooked, and the addition of Mac & Cheese put it over the top.

My on-line order was correct and ready right when requested, and the staff was friendly.

I highly recommend giving this joint a try.

I went for lunch here with my Dad and I was happy with the experience. It is popular so we walked inside and stood in line to order but I would estimate from the time we walked in until we sat down to eat was maybe 15-20 minutes. There where 3 other groups of people in line in front of us so I was perfectly fine with it. The atmosphere inside was friendly and inviting just like the staff was. The food was good and in looking forward to trying another item on their menu!

After seeing Chaps on an episode of Triple D's, I researched their spot an found they just opened one in Media Pa. Hoped in the vehicle and drove an hour from northeast Philly to try em out. Well worth the 2hrs of travel. Got the Guy’s Triple D sammich & a couple pounds of ribs. If I gave these items one word = phenomenal! Stores clean & convid safe, staff had a great attitude, atmosphere is comfortable, and most importantly- the food is amazing. Chaps - Media is now locked in a a favorite their entire menu will be eventually taste tested. If you're within a drive from, their bbq is worth the trip.

First time here and everything was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helped make great recommendations. They made sure everything was really fresh and made to order. We had the beef sandwich which had great flavor and was not chewy. Fries were on point and the burnt ends were killer. If your looking for a unique, high quality and rich in flavor BBQ, this is the spot. We will 100% be back again

We ate here on a Saturday night, I got the vault special it was absolutely massive, a bit messy but worth it, it was so yummy! We also got some wings with Korean BBQ as the flavor, would highly recommend them. I was shocked that the place wasn’t busier considering it was well priced and really tasty.

Very nice staff. First time here. Food fresh, so good! We will def. be back! Support this new sandwich shop. Eat in or take out. Nothing like the taste of smoked meats! Delish!

Saw this place on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives TV show. I knew I had to go and see how it is. It did not disappoint, and I keep going back. It's not all that close to my house, so its gotta be good.

I'm so glad they have one in Media!! I usually go to Chaps in Baltimore, so I was very excited to see this one. The staff was super friendly, or sandwiches were delicious, the horseradish was fresh, and the restaurant was spotless. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This pit beef is the best in the area. The sandwich is huge, full of beef and flavor. Get it rare or just like you prefer. Add some crispy fries and you’ve got the best meal for the price.

Attended the Working the Beat live podcasting event. Chaps is a very clean establishment with a pleasant staff. The buffalo wings are outstanding. The pulled pork bbq sandwich melts in your mouth.

Definitely a highly recommended place to visit.

My first experience here was great. I did dine in. Everything was very clean and the employees were polite. The food was fabulous and it was great to eat while watching football. I will definitely be back.

I got the pit beef sandwich,well done and still tender and juicy, small beans and small cole slaw. The food was great and the servers were the best. This was another uber drive find and soo glad I stopped here.

I stepped out of the pet store and was hit with the aroma of BBQ. I stopped dead in my tracks because I just had to taste it. So I followed my nose to the next cluster of stores and Bam! There it is! Chaps Pit Beef! Can I walk in? Yes! You have Pepsi!!! I could hug you. A pound of fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth ribs for under $10? Come again? Your sandwiches are top notch, your store is clean and organized, service is outstanding, welcome to Delco! We needed you!

Super friendly cashier and helpful cooks suggesting to us what to order. Food was sooo yummy. The chicken piablo soup was full of flavor and the open beef sandwich was so savory. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!

This place has some really yummy BBQ and the manager was super nice. He introduced me to the various sauces while I was waiting for my food. Hubby and I are definitely coming back here again! 😍

The grilled chicken sandwich is what I usually get and it is fresh,juicy and real chicken breast.I haven't tried much of the food but I bet it's all delicious and worth giving a try especially if your into barbecue food.👍👍
