Crystal Lake State Park

We stayed at the cottage over Memorial Day weekend. It was absolutely everything you need. We are a family of 4 with a 2 and 5 year old. The cottage was clean and the grounds are well kept. There are basic cleaning supplies provided for your stay, but we would recommend bringing food from home because the local store is very, very expensive and somewhat limited. The noise from the local tavern didn't bother us or keep the kids up. The train goes by a couple times a day and that was definitely a highlight for the kids.

It is a beautiful clean lake. The state park on the north end is easy parking beautiful sand and a nice large old building for bathrooms and changing. Also, I find that everyone is surprisingly nice there.

I absolutely love Crystal Lake. I've been taking my kids up there every year for the last 6 years!! My dad lives not even a mile from lake. It's so beautiful and the fishing is great!!

The lake is in fact crystal clear! Plenty of room for parking and setting up your picnic blanket or tent. Grounds and beaches are well maintained Important to note though that the concession stand is CASH ONLY. So if you need any snacks, drinks, sweets or park merch you definitely want to have cash on hand.

Crystal lake is my favorite Vermont State Beach! It is always clean and well taken care of. There is a huge lawn for kids to play whiffle ball, soccer or any type of lawn game. Lots of sand and beach to dig and build sand castles. There is a big shady area with trees for those people who dont want to be in the direct sun. I especially love that it attracts lots of families there just to enjoy a calm beach day.

A nice place for picnic and you can even walk in water a have a little swim, boats available too.

Was amazing to watch the solar eclipse by the lake, mood was ecstatic and even though the town was clogged from the thousands of visitors everyone was so friendly.

What could be better than staying at my cabin at Crystal Lake State Park? Great summer for swimming. The state park is wonderful. Clean restrooms, snackbar and great picnic area with shade. We have the two red cabins. CA for a rental.

Clean, clear water. Lawn was free of waste/trash. People were social distancing and enjoying the day!

Very clean and very friendly people here they do have on-site bathrooms there is also a concession stand kind of store you do have to pay to answer but it is pretty reasonable there is grills on site very beautiful Sandy Beach of gorgeous landscape it's a great place for anyone to visit

Great state park with a clean, quite, beautiful views beach. Crystal clear that is refreshing swim on a warm day.

Lake was beautiful. Lake bottom was smooth and sandy. Beach was raked and there were many open spaces. Grassy areas green and trimmed. Five to get in. Ample parking.

Beautiful, small state park. The beach is maintained but you can still find some clams and/or shells. The facilities are nice and clean with changing areas separate from the bathroom stalls. Plenty of lawn space near beach with picnic tables and grills close by.

Nice area, grills, tables rentals, a decent beach and the water was much warmer early in the year compared to some other lakes in that area. We fished, swam, had a picnic etc.

Fun place to catch fish.

We have been coming here for a few years and we will keep coming back. The sites are clean and parking is convenient. You do not have to walk far to the beach.They have grills for cooking. The swimming area is great for kids shallow and gradually gets deeper.

Its beautiful, and its perfect for all ages to enjoy. You can swim,play on the beach in the grass or in the sand there's areas with shade trees n BBQ grills. You can fish rent canoes,kayak its an all around great place .

Beautiful park. Clean restrooms. Lots of space on the beach.
