Pine Crest Motel & Cabins

Great cabins with plenty of space. Super clean with all the amenities needed (coffee, fridge, grill, a/c). Do and will highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while checking out Hill Farmstead or Parker Pie.

We stayed here right after the flooding hit Vermont in early July. The host was very accommodating and friendly. They had just recovered from the high waters and had everything in great shape for our visit. We were very comfortable in the cabin and found it to be well appointed. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend.

Small cabins but so cute and comfortable. With the little river, it’s calm to stay the night there, it feels great. It was clean and smells good.

The only thing I could complain about is : there’s a shower but no towels, only facecloth. When you arrived from a motorcycle trip and it was raining, it’s disappointing to not have any towel. We can also see true the blinds when the light is on inside. But I would go back.

Great little cabin. I stayed here while visiting family in the area. The cabin was a great spot to spend the night. The mini fridge and microwave made it easy to bring my own food and hunker down for a chilly Vermont night. The included dishes and cutlery were a welcomed surprise. The bed was comfortable, TV was easy to use, and I love that there was Green Mountain Coffee for the morning.

These cabins were perfect for my wife and I. Check in and out was super easy. The bear cabin had a single burner to use as well as a coffee machine, microwave and toaster oven. There was a fire pit you can use with firewood available. The river these cabins sit on was awesome. I wasn't able to fish because the season was over. We will definitely be going back for another stay. 10/10 would recommend if your looking for a small quiet getaway.

Pine Crest is a classic example of "don't judge a book by its cover". We were passing though on the way to a different destination and chose this place as a quick stop off I-91 to catch some sleep and recharge from a long drive. The grounds were tranquil and well maintained. We wish we had more time to stay and sit and relax by the Barton River that flowes through the property.

Not far from scenic VT100 fall foliage drive, quiet, clean, pretty much has all necessities one needs for a short stay.. And they welcome dogs! The stream sound is wonderful. I can imagine very popular in warm/hot weather to swim and cookout at the picnic table and grill available, too!

Very clean rooms and clean grounds. Picturesque grounds that makes our vacation very tranquil and relaxing. Close to gas station and great breakfast and lunch cafe,

For me and my family was very impressed and beyond happy with our stay here. I can tell the owners and the pine crest hotel staff take pride in what they have here. It's a bit rough around the edges for some maybe but that's the beauty I see here. Cozy humble relaxing . I can't wait to come back and enjoy more bonding memories in this perfect place.

This place is an underrated gem in the kingdom. It is not for fancy people but for people who appreciate simple quality accommodations. The river and waterfall is a bonus and great for bigger kids. Every time I come there are significant improvements and people are always working on projects. There is a friendly rural community here.

The cabin was clean comfortable and cozy for three of us. We thought the third person would be sleeping in a public area but they had their own room. The river is steps away from the cabin and the stars were amazing. Service was wonderful. Great dinner recommendation to carriage house.

We had a great stay in Porcupine Palace. It was clean and quaint and the perfect bunkie. (The pictures on the website don’t do it justice!) We had a rainy departure, and I was bummed we didn’t get to have our morning coffee in the hammock by the cascading river. The hosts are lovely, too! I will be back for sure.

Great place to bring kids or just to go to on your own. Beautiful area and a river to play or wade in. But there is also a pool if you would rather swim there. Each cabin is unique although the bathrooms are really tiny, so be prepared for that. The driveway is dirt but it is hard-pressed so even motorcycles can drive on it. There is a market up the street and a small restaurant nearby. The cabins have a mini fridge, microwave, and toaster. At least the one I was in.

I'm a local but needed a room for a night so I'm in a small cabin. It's perfect. The setting is beautiful and the cabin is super clean. The bed is comfortable. The other guests are quiet and friendly. The pool looks nice and the river is a great place to swim. I've gone past this little gem countless times in my life and wish I had stayed sooner!

It was so quaint and cute , you drive down a dirt road and you see this beautiful river. Then the cabins. It was hidden gem of Vermont. The pool and the river right there. Also they have hammocks and fire pit they light every night . We will be back next year .

Pierre was amazing!! He should get a raise he bent over backwards to make sure we were happy! Our cabin was so cute. bonfire which I love heated pool amazing! Met other guest around fire great company! This place is a must! A treasure

The cabin was comfortable, Ms. Sharon was very communicative and accommodating. I like a softer bed, but that's just my preference. Really enjoyed my stay!

Drove up from CT for some skiing at Jay and pulled into town late with nowhere to stay and a pup riding shotgun ... Not too many dog friendly lodging options in the area, but Pine Crest was happy to accommodate us. Great clean little room (The Robin's Roost!) in a beautiful rural area. Had some dinner at Parker's Pie Barn (try the mac and cheese and be sure to wash it down with some of that rare Hill Farmstead brew). Pierre the office guy was extremely friendly and helpful ... Had a lot of great tips for cool places to explore nearby. This will definitely be my spot to stay on return trips north.

The rooms are clean and, at -10°F, warm. Hot water and free coffee in your room in the dead of winter are also amenities in my book. Old school rustic charm, friendly, accommodating owners, and easy access to outdoor sports on a budget make this place great.
