Top notch butcher shop. Locally owned. Staff is friendly and helpful. They always have a large variety of meats: beef, pork, chicken and specialty items. Their broccoli stuffed chicken breasts and many flavors of sausage are especially good. The smoked salmon is outstanding.

Small, family run butcher shop, not far off the highway. Absolutely fantastic meat, great variety of sausage, sticks, and the best bacon that you will find anywhere. They'll even do custom cuts. Super friendly staff, too. They'll stick with you and answer any questions that you have from the time that you walk in until the same person checks you out.

All the meat is fresh cut. They have frozen hamburger patties in 5 or 10 pound boxes frozen. Great for picnics or tailgating at Penn State. Call ahead for big orders or if your hurrying. Personnel friendly and helpful.

Best cuts of beef I've had in my life! You have to try their strip and Delmonico steaks. The folks at Benner's couldn't be any more friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend them high enough!

The dill burgers were amazing. The black diamond steak was so mouth watering good. The garlic herb chicken breast stayed moist(I cooked a little to long in crock pot). Everything I got there was so delicious 😋

So amazing! The service was great, everyone was so nice!! Can't forget to mention the beef sticks! Probably the best beef sticks I've ever had, espically the ham jalapeño. And the dips! The dips go great with everything, from sweet to spicy. Deffinatley recommending for everyone at the campground to go there! Can't wait to go back for more!!

Just go. The quality of everything is excellent. The staff is super helpful. Very fresh cuts. Pork, beef and chicken. Even cheese. Marinades too. You will not regret it. You will return! Enjoy.

Quality and TASTE of meat, steaks, hamburger, Everything is So far above chain stores. If I'm not hiding the taste with spaghetti sauce or taxa seasoning, I don't buy at Giant or others....just saying. Taste IS noticable.

Benner's Butcher Shoppe is a great place to do business and is best characterized as trustworthy and of the highest integrity. In a hometown setting, the service is friendly and timely. The facilities and processes are clean and sanitary and you will be impressed by their high quality butchering and wrapping.

Benners is and continues to be a prime location for quality meats. They are located in Thompsontown, Pa. They are very unassuming and don't where nice shoes if it's raining because of the stone parking lot. . Take the Thompsontown exit and go left, then left onto old S.R. 322 about 1/4 mile on the left. This is from State College or Lewistown. Or just Google Benners Butcher Shop. I bought 4 nice smoked chops, 2 BBQ ham steaks (3 adults could easily enjoy 1 ham steak), 2 smoked ham hocks, 3- 1lb. Rings of fresh sausage in the casings, 4 Mediterranean seasoned chicken breast, 1/4 lb summer bologna/sausage, 1-1 1/4lb. ring of honey-pickle-cheese bologna (This is a new item I had to try) and 1/4 lb. garlic bologna. And a T-shirt all for $77.00 Where's the Beef? I just got a 1/4 of a beef last month that Benners just happened to butcher. There are good butcher shop quality Steaks, Marinated Steaks, Ground beef, Beef Hot Dogs, Beef sticks, Smoked cheese, Regular Cheese, Dips, Salads, and much more. Benners always has samples of their bologna and cheese to taste before you buy. They also have meat packages to purchase. Banners is worth the trip. Take a cooler as you will need one. Enjoy! Closed Sunday's and Monday and open until 12:00 noon on Saturday. I believe they are open 9:00 am until 5:00 pm

The best place to buy meat. Their beef sticks are fantastic. Everything is fresh. Extremely helpful and polite staff.
