Woodie's Luncheonette

I got the shrimp salad it was supposed to come with a vinaigrette dressing but didn't get it, but I used my own when I got home. Had garlic and butter wings that came in a card board take out container which the butter was soaked up in the cardboard so it was just basically garlic laying on the wings, same with the black diamond steak which wasn't a real black diamond because I had the real ones, but the steak juice was absorbed in the cardboard take out container also. The cardboard containers are sturdy but they suck up all liquids with a meal.

One of the best tuna club sandwiches I’ve ever had. Perfectly toasted rye, a great homemade tuna salad, crispy bacon and great portions.

A true local eatery with one of the best, most effortlessly attentive servers. What a sweetheart. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back!

Cozy, friendly, reasonably priced, cafe with a great menu. The desserts looked awesome in the front case. I'll try some next time I visit from Florida. Parking was not a problem either..

The dinner I had recently was phenomenal. So much so that I had to ask the chefs name. Tony & Justin were responsible for cooking my meal and I could not have been more impressed. I will be returning to Woodie’s often. Professional & absolutely delicious.

I enjoyed a nice salad, grilled chicken Caesar wrap with the best fries and finished the meal with a slice of coconut creme pie! Everything was amazing! Great atmosphere. Felt very comfortable. Friendly and efficient service! Nice and new decor, clean. Can’t wait to go back!

Best Reuben my wife has ever had. Every meal I have had here has been great. Service is great and the prices are very reasonable, even at today's market prices... I frequent this place quite often. It will not be long before I'm back again

Excellent choice for lunch today. First time visit by chance after visiting the Eckely Mine Village. Had a variety of items for the 4 of us. Hamburgers, fries, milk shake, shrimp basket ,strudel pancakes and eggs. It was soooooo good. Brought home cheesecake and carrot cake because we were stuffed and wanted to try them. Another A + rating. Staff very friendly, very accommodating and quick service. Restaurant was nicely decorated and rest rooms clean . We will make a special trip and go back. Definitely a must.

I live in White Haven. My buddy and I get together for breakfast afew times a month. Last week, we decided to try Woodies. Both of us had omlets. They were awesome. Nice clean establishment, great service and prices, friendly staff. On our list of places for return trip. Give them a try.
