The Crooked Creek

Stopped by for a quick lunch after hiking at the state park nearby. Their menu is lengthy and offers a wide variety of options despite it being a casual bar. I couldn’t resist trying the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese bites, and I am glad I indulged! It was quiet inside, as we popped in around 1 on a weekday, but I inquired with the bartender (who was lovely and attentive) about their volume on weekends and it’s clear they bring the crowds in. The establishment is large with several tables around the bar, plenty of standing room, and a separate dining room. If I’m ever in the area again I surely wouldn’t hesitate to stop in to take advantage of their dinner menu and a few brews. They don’t have a wide variety of drafts, but rotate seasonal/local brews appropriately, along with a full bar otherwise. Money spent $20-30 PP to include alcohol purchased, you can easily get a meal here for less.

Cool, funky place with surprisingly good food. Burgers were especially good. Was there on a Saturday afternoon. Bartender was our waitress. She was pleasant and efficient. Food came out quickly. There was another table and about 6-8 people at the bar. Pool table and dartboards.

Large bar/restaurant in a beautiful area. Service was great. The place definitely seems like the place to be on the weekends but slow during the week. Maybe I just visited on an off day. Good beer selection in the fridge but not much for drafts.
I would say the food was good for a bar but nothing to write home about. I will go back when in the area.

Good food, awesome music and dance floor. Sound acoustics and a staff that is cool AF.

Stopped here after a long hike at Ricketts Glen. Food was amazing! We dined there and ordered pizzas to take home for the next day. They were a bit short staffed, but the gals working were super great and friendly.

Stopped here for a quick bite while visiting Ricketts Glen. I had the Chipotle Shrimp wrap and my daughter had an Impossible Burger. Both were delicious but there were not many shrimp in the wrap. Fries were cooked to perfection and the staff were friendly and fast.

Stopped here after hiking at Ricketts Glen and was very impressed. Hands down the best Cold brew martini I have ever had in my life. Food was also amazing.

Great restaurant! Huge restaurant. Surprisingly good food, I’ve never been to this town and it looks like a very small town so I didn’t have high expectations. I was very wrong.

The wait staff here is exceptional! And so is the food! (Kudos to the chef!) The Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwhich and the BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos are our current favorites! Salads are excellent too! Country line dancing night is alot of fun if you can make it for that, otherwise, we keep coming back for the great food and service! Looking forward to trying the brunch one weekend!

This place was a great find after our hike at Ricketts Glen State Park. The food was awesome and at a great price. I had their sangria which was a generous serving.
Our waitress was friendly...wished I would have gotten her name! We will definitely be back!!

Came here twice over the weekend for lunch. First visit we had pretzels and the dill pickle ranch pizza. Definitely would recommend the pizza. Second visit I had the Philly special with waffle fries and the husband had the spicy chicken philly. His was better but both were really good. The waffle fries were the best that I have ever had.

This was a nice spot for post-hike beers and food. The mac n’cheese bites are SO worth it. You also will not regret ordering a cold brew martini!

Stopped by for some food and drinks, and certainly wasn't disappointed! Had the buffalo chicken egg rolls, the Philly special, and the buffalo mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! There's a wide selection of drinks, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. Will definitely be back :)

Rainy Saturday came in for lunch and to watch a game. Great service from Nancy, pizza was really good and “jerk” wings were off the hook. Highly recommend coming in for a beer, good food and friendly atmosphere!

Good food and the service was pretty good even though they were packed. Stopped in to see a band called The Haymakers who were excellent.

I had the Philly special and my wife had the all American burger and everything was delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and the staff was very friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back when they have their full menu.

Food was excellent as well as the service. The atmosphere was very good too, although I felt the chairs were just a bit uncomfortable, although that's only my personal opinion.

Stopped in on our family vacation to Ricketts Glen, cannot recommend this place enough!! The playlist was unique and very enjoyable, everything from Billy Joel to Disturbed. Fast and friendly service, great menu, wide variety of drinks, and best of all, the RANCH AND DILL PICKLE PIZZA!!! I'm coming back every year!

We stopped to meet with Devin and Danica at the newly opened Crooked Creek in Sweet Valley. It's inspiring to see young members in our area investing in our local community.
