My favorite peaceful place to stay on my bike adventures on Vermont, always great time ! Clean, environment respect, good people, near to the best trails and for sure good time conversations with Mark, can’t wait for next time.

New Burke Camping Rentals is a small private campground located just minutes from Kingdom Trails, Victory State Forest, and Lake Willoughby in the beautiful North East Kingdom region of Vermont. The campground is secluded, quiet, clean, and well appointed, with a community gathering spot featuring a massive fire pit, free showers, clean facilities and a helpful host/owner (Mark) who lives on-site. There are several soft, sandy tent sites, a tent platform, a seasonal cabin, and even room for a smaller RV/Camper on one site. We've stayed with Mark several times and will continue to camp at New Burke Camping Rentals when we visit this area.

Great little campground. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and easy going. He created an amazing place for mountain bikers, campers to come chill and unwind. The flowers and plants along the road is a nice little touch. There is a cool place to hang out, barbecue and relax by the firepit. Great job Mark for creating such a cool place!!

Blown away by the attention to detail and the great atmosphere the campground creates. Mark the owner is a great guy and truly cares! Hot showers , extremely clean, outlets to charge electronics, great communal area. It poured our first night there and the camp ground drained amazing , we had no mud anywhere ! Had a great night talking biking and sharing stories with other campers around the fire pit. Again I have nothing but praise for Mark the owner. Hi From MD ! We will return many times

This little campsite is marvelous. It is well maintained by Mark, the owner, who you can tell has put his heart and soul and thoughts into every little detail.

Cell service is spotty up there, and he prefers to book things that way, so try again, if you don’t get a hold of him when you first try to call. It’s worth it to eventually get through.

My boyfriend and I stayed at NewBurke for the Enduro World Series weekend and we absolutely loved it. The sites are all really nice, each one has it’s own fire pit and free firewood. The showers were free and they were really nice, hot and clean. The campground also has a beautifully planted landscape with lots of perennial flowers!

If you are looking for a clean and quiet place to camp in the northeast kingdom this is the spot. My wife, dog, and I stayed there for two nights in order to hike in the area. We loved the spot. Campsites were spacious and well maintained. Shower facilities were pristine and offer nice HOT water. The communal areas were clean, spaced out, and included great amenities such as a gas grill. Even the porta potties were super clean. The best part was the owner Mark who was very attentive and flexible. Highly recommend this place!

Great spot with plenty of amenities (as advertised). The cabin is off-grid (no power); however, there are plenty of LED and solar powered lights to keep the place bright. The host is very quick to respond to concerns or offer advice about the area. The entire campground is well appointed and the grounds have a nice ascetic with flowers, free wood, hot water for showers, and drinking water. It's our go-to camp spot for visits to the nearby Kingdom Trails and Lake Willoughby. Highly recommend a stay at NewBurke Campground.

Great place to camp while visiting Kingdom Trails. Easy drive from East Burke, fair pricing, a nice escape from the crowds, free hot and CLEAN showers, free fire wood, and a bike wash station. Also only 10 minutes to Lake Willoughby.

The host, Mark is friendly and always available if needed. We've stayed several times and are always impressed by the care that Mark takes with the grounds.

What a great place. Clean, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable. Access to a great fire pit...a community grill...clean drinking water..and hot showers. Mark has really put a lot of love into this site. We stayed in area number 2 which has a lean-to and you can pitch two 2-person tents in it. Additionally...the port-o-potties were wicked clean. That said, can't recommend this place enough. Short drive to the Village Bike Shop Trailside. This place is an A+ in my book

Camping here was such a great experience! The campground was extremely clean and very well maintained. The hot showers were a great bonus after a long day of riding too! Mark the owner was very helpful and had lots of great tips to make our trip even better! I could not have asked for a better camping experience and will stay here next time we are in the area!

This campground is absolutely splendid. Hot showers, free firewood, and beautiful grounds. Marc keeps the place pristine, and is a super friendly guy. Definitely recommend this campground!!!

Nice sites, clean and hot showers. Community area with picnic tables and a gas grill. There's also a community fire area.

Magnifique endroit paisible où séjourner entre le Lac Willoughby (Mont Pisgah) et Burke Mountain ! Mark, le propriétaire vient même nous accueillir personnellement et est une bonne ressource pour nous guider dans nos déplacements. Merci Mark! 2 belles douches propres en bois avec chauffes-eau au propane (eau chaude instantanée). Un bel espace commun avec BBQ et plusieurs tables a picnic. Spots à feu sur chaque site. Bois de chauffage fourni !

Endroit parfait près de Burke et lac Willoughby. Calme, intime, propre. Sauvage.

We were pleasantly surprised by this campground! Mark is a great guy and the place is super well maintained. The hot showers are to die for after a long riding day. It is a backcountry campground- carry in and carry out, no fire rings and a more communal experience. Clean portopottys and the whole place was quiet, a lovely place to rest our heads 😊we will be back!
