Adair Budget Inn

Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Good people. There was a mixup with the booking site, which was solved easily. The room was a bit aged, but very clean. Overall a great experience, and a charming small town motel, with a personal touch. There are 2 gas stations with convenience stores just next door and it's a short walk across the Adair viaduct into town.

I arrived late after 1:00am. Very clean room. Bed was nice and clean and plenty of clean towels for me to take a nice long hot bath. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff and service too. I’m very pleased for the price I paid. So hospitable and courteous. I would recommend to anyone who is traveling through.

We stopped for just one night to sleep. For such a cheap price- it was better then I expected. We arrived late but had no problem checking in. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. In the morning there was coffee,juice, cereal and muffins ( nothing fancy but for 40$ we were even expecting any breakfast) The lady working was very nice and overall we can't say anything bad about this place.

Excellent.. my work crew and I were on a long trip from PA to S. D. Traveling down I-80. We called ahead on a Sat night and was quoted 2 rooms at $39 each. As we stay in lots of hotels, motels and such, er were not expecting much. But, after 14 hours on the road, with 5 left to go, we took a chance. The parking lot was nice and clean. The lady that checked us in was pleasant, the rooms were as clean as any we have stayed in. And cleaner that most at twice the price. Sheets and pillows were clean and fresh. Flat screen TV, was a name brand. ( Phillips, I believe). Water pressure was good. Water was hot and beds were comfortable enough. Fridge and microwave in the room. Don't hesitate to stay here and don't be scared off by the price. We took a chance and were very happy we did. FYI, there is no breakfast here, but there is a subway across the street that serves breakfast and that lady was nice too.

This is the best budget motel I’ve ever stayed in, as well as the cheapest. The rooms are a little dated (they have flat screen TVs, mini fridges and microwaves though), but they are kept pretty clean and the staff is great. They also have great cable with loads of channels witch is refreshing for a budget motel. For $50 a night all said and done I don’t think I’ll ever find one better. I will always stay here when going through Iowa.

This place is an absolute Gem! While most other accomodations in this price range give me an uneasy sleezy feeling that I just have to tolerate, here it felt safe, homey and comfortable. The decor is very dated, but the place is kept immaculately. Like staying at my grandma's house as a kid, but cleaner. All the promised basics are supplied, and at an actual $50 flat including tax, no tricks or ad ons. I was just stopping through, but I would have happily stayed here much longer!

This little local hotel exceeded my expectations! Great people running this place keeping it clean and looking amazing & the location is perfect, you have the local stores across the roads along with the rolling hills in the back! Sit out on the deck and enjoy a nice evening. Perfect. I hope I can stay here again!!

Normally I'd complain, but for $45 there's a microwave, refridgerator, heater/AC and TV. No it's not the Ritz, but it's clean, comfortable, and plenty of room.
Oh yeah! The TV works great.

Cheap, clean and very comfortable. We didn't expect much for the price but were pleasantly surprised. Rooms are dated, but that's ok, they were clean and the service was friendly.

Very clean room, helpful staff, comfortable bed & hot shower, all for $55. This is a family run hotel, not a chain so don't expect the Ritz.

THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL, PEOPLE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, CLEAN ROOMS, EVERYTHING LOOKS VERY COOL TO ME ,PRICE IS GREAT 49.00 VERY GOOD TO EXPEND A WEEKEND OFF AS A RETREAT BECAUSE IS QUIETLY. TODAY IS THE STORM NIGHT I CAN'T DRIVE ANYMORE, I SET MY GPS, AND BUUMMM. THIS ROOM NICE!!

We have stayed at the Adair Budget Inn several times as an overnight stop on driving trips, where all we wanted was a place to sleep and shower. This motel is clean with no frills and is very close to I-80, so it suited our needs perfectly.

Older, but clean rooms especially for the price! Lady at desk was very nice. We were traveling and it was perfect for our needs.

Really nice place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was really friendly. Breakfast was small and simple but nice. Over all I would stay here again.

I didn't expect the room to be this good ! I was surprised.. neatly and well maintained..very near to highway.. there's a Subway, pizza and donut shop nearby..we had cereals and muffins for breakfast..and coffee !

Reasonable price for the area since it's so close to where I work. Clean room everyday when I get off work. Friendly owners.
