The Garrison at Finley Farms

The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was impeccable! We started with the grilled artichoke... it was mouth watering. For the entree, we shared the porterhouse topped with crab imperial and bone marrow... absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely mind blowing.. I have never rated a 5 star restraunt a perfect score.. but I'm absolutely blew away. Awesome atmosphere, amazing drinks, the best porter house I've legit ever bit into. The services were top notch, the bathrooms were spotless.. I literally can't complain about a single thing.. this is my new #1.. well done.. the prices are high, if I could afford to come here more often I would. But this will be go our go to for birthdays and special occasions. Thank you!!

We celebrated our anniversary here and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Food was excellent, we enjoyed every course. Our server was awesome, every recommendation she made was prefect. The bartender was also excellent, I had the best espresso martini ever. Do not miss this!!

From the time we stepped onto the property until the time we left, everything was fantastic. There’s a fun store and it’s so much fun to have to walk through a molasses drum to get into the restaurant. We had a sourdough and mushroom salad, bison tartare, scallops with roasted corn, chimichurri porterhouse, and a rosemary pound cake with lemon chiffon icecream. Absolutely amazing. The drinks were unique and delicious and we loved our server Caden. He was so friendly , gave great recommendations, and was attentive. We’ll be asking for him next time we’re back, which we hope is soon!

Wow. Easily one of the top dining experiences in Southwest Missouri. The small plate servings makes it easy to try a bit of everything. The duck is a slice of thanksgiving like a thanksgiving dinner in every bite. Scallops were seared to perfection. The pot roast and porterhouse was some of the best beef I’ve ever had. While all the cocktails looked amazing, I couldn’t stop ordering “The Garrison”. Staff is second to none, and very knowledgeable and friendly! Can’t wait to go back and try it all again!

We got the Riverside experience, this was amazing. Friends got the steak it was amazing also could cut with a fork. We had the rosemary pound cake, friends had creme brulee. It was delicious

Gem of a spot in Ozark! Small town restaurant, who are not afraid to pack some big city punches. So glad to see them back up and running after those bad floods.

The atmosphere is second to none (as well as the Ozark Mill upstairs). It has a very dark, moody, speakeasy feel. Great for a “treat yourself” celebration, or if you’re trying to impress that special person in your life. It is upscale so expect to pay a little bit more, but definitely worth it.

Can’t wait to make another trip out.

Man, the bad reviews, from our experience, are not warranted. However, I do know that when restaurants open, especially like this one, standards are high. That being said, they were met with flying colors for us. We couldn’t get a table, so decided to sit at the bar, and probably will do that moving forward because the service was astounding and the questions we asked about the food, drinks and the the history of the farm were met with an exciting eagerness, and went far above and beyond expectations. The atmosphere is incredible as to be expected with a Morris establishment. The drinks were great and the food was absolutely delicious. I could be hypercritical, and say that the skin on my duck was not as crispy as it probably should have been, or that the giant scallop was just a tad undercooked, but that would be unfair because the experience and food were all in all, incredible. This will be our go to when we have out of town guests, period, end of story. If you want to have a special experience and entertain anyone, for whatever occasion, for whatever reason, I’m not sure you’re going to find a better venue in Springfield or surrounding. Suggested would be an understatement, Bravo 🙌

Really enjoyed our first visit. Cool atmosphere and amazing drinks. The food came out missing the sides and the server noticed and compd them without hesitation for our friends. I had fried chicken and my husband had the sea bass. We shared crab cakes and kale. I will be back just for the kale!!!!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Love the atmosphere! Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. We had beef tartare, scallops and duck. All were superb. My only complaint was when I accidentally spilled my first glass of wine. I was hoping the server would replace it without charging, but he did not. He also was less friendly than the bartender. Otherwise, a great birthday dinner! We will be back.

Love the whole experience of the Garrison. The whole menu is different from the normal Finley farms restaurant. Full bar and candle-lit tables. It's like stepping back in time. Food was delicious and especially loved the Persimmon Crème brûlée.. so good. Great place to have a date night

We had the Riverside Experience. If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend this. It's a great sampling of their items and was more than enough food for two people. We were lucky enough to be there on a foggy night so the views were especially gorgeous when we strolled outside after dinner. A magical night to get engaged!

Great little restaurant with both a standard menu as well as a seasonal one. Nice selection of beer on tap as well as cocktails. We shared the charcuterie board, loaded with fresh and pickled veggies but saw a pizza delivered to the next table and it looked delightful. Get a table by the window for a great view!

We loved it! Tried a ton of things on the menu but the standout favorites were the Garrison drink, ricotta appetizer, sweet potatoes, mini pot roast, and fried chicken. Our fav desserts were the donuts and the pound cake. Caden was our waiter and he did a great job. The atmosphere made this place special - I mean, where else do you have to have a secret password to enter? :) Make a reservation and go there!

The Garrison at Finley Farms is the perfect place for a date or night out with friends. The seafood stew and sweet potatoes were delicious and the perfect amount for two people. One of the best parts of the evening was the excellent service from Caden. Highly recommend The Garrison; we’ll be back soon.

Wow what an incredible place. It's clear the owners have put so much thought into every aspect of the experience. The excellent service, variety of small plate options, and incredible drink menu all contributed to a top notch evening. Can't wait to return next time we are in the area.

Had dinner for the first time tonight at the Garrison. We ate dinner outside on the patio and it was a perfect evening for it.

If you're confused about the small plates and the "for the table" options ask your server to explain. Our server Eric was knowledgeable, attentive and made great suggestions. Don't leave without trying one of the desserts. We had the chocolate layer cake with the tableside bourbon caramel pour and the persimmon creme brulee, decadent and delicious. The dining experience + the atmosphere made for a great date night. Eric, thank you again.

This place was exquisite. Atmosphere was romantic, dining was intimate. The food was amazing, however the portions were small. The cocktails were spot on and the service was amazing. The bartender was very knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommend this as a nice night out.

This place is a vibe! Beautiful, old speakeasy that seems elegant and cozy all at once. The food is phenomenal. Don't leave without trying the pound cake dessert. Seriously. Derek at the bar is a gem. He makes great suggestions and even better drinks. We can't wait to come back.

Recently visited The Garrison and was highly impressed. The atmosphere and location is so unique and creates an amazing place for a special dinner. It was also so fun to learn and hear the history of the restaurant and even how the name ties in with Ozarks history. I especially enjoyed the smoked old fashioned and the brown sugar glazed salmon!
