Dunleavy's

Great local dive, old school atmosphere. Gets very crowded with locals, there was a 20 minute wait on Saturday at 430. Large menu of typical irish themed bar food. I had the special of pork chops and french onion soup, both were great. Even though it was packed the waitresses were very friendly.

Dunleavy's is a history lesson and a great place to catch a game. Decently priced drinks, average food and plenty of parking.

Dunleavy's is a really nice neighborhood kind of a place that has a way of making you feel right at home. There's always a good crowd and the wait for your food is never long. And the food is so good! I had a burger with mushrooms and swiss cheese and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. It was big, juicy and cooked the way that I asked. I had had regular fries and they were crispy and delicious. Diane had a Salmon wrap with sweet potatoe fries and she loved it. The honey dip for the fries was a nice touch. Our server Lauren was fantastic. She was very attentive and nice.

Once a month me and my wife get together with my cousins. I decided to try Dunleavy's. We moved to Lumberton in 2002 and haven't been there once. Boy! Were we missing out! Glad we went. Great food with excellent service and the atmosphere was like us. A little on the loud side. If you're looking for a romantic dinner, this isn't the place. If you're looking for a good time and food to match, this is it. I'm definitely going to go back.

If you enjoy log cabin atmosphere, watching sports, or hanging out at a friendly bar with great food, you will love it here. The food has actually improved recently and it was always very good. Try the Irish Mac and cheese, it's fabulous. Great turkey sandwiches, too, and some upscale specials. They make my favorite vodka cranberry, big glass, lots of ice, good cranberry juice. Wear your casual clothes and enjoy!

The salmon was perfectly cooked and all the food was flavorful. Husbands loved his chicken provolone. One of the few places we have found without needing to season once we tried it!

Located just down the road from the ice rink, Dunleavy's is our go to "winter" spot after our hockey games. (Summer and Spring we grill and have a few beverages at the rink lot).

Dunleavy's is a locals bar and the crowd is always friendly. Ages range from 20's to Seniors. Everyone gets along and it is a good atmosphere.

Food is what you would expect at a pub, along with a few specials. I've never had a bad meal yet. Staff is friendly, and service is great.

They have a wide selection of beers, but I am a creature of habit and always enjoy the Guinness. I would definitely recommend a visit to Dunleavy's.

Cool cabin vibe pub. Irish Potato soup was delicious. Hit the spot. Staff was very friendly and chill. Seems like a local watering hole. Guy next to me wearing a Canadian tuxedo with a legit Indiana Jones hat and cowboy boots. I didn’t get anything to drink but any place that has Guinness on tap is a go for me. 100% would eat here again.

Great little hometown spot. Food is good and the staff. Locals are pretty cool too.

Great burgers, lots of cold beer - both on tap and in bottles. Good place for Irish food and bar food. Really crowded on St. Patrick's Day!

The bartenders are all great, the food is really good, and it's always a good time.

Great pub. Good selection and super friendly staff. When I went there they had live music which added to the aesthetic. Family friendly too!! Good serving portions.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after finding them on a search for pubs in the area. What a find!
I'll tell you right away, I'm weary of pubs. Most are too small, smell dank, have sticky floors, are too loud & have staff that hate their jobs.
Not this place!
Immediately cozy setting & welcoming staff. Clean, well designed dinning spaces.
Comfortable volume for conversation, AND (big one here) CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BATHROOMS!!
We had the Pub Salad with salmon & it was delish! Our waitress was attentive & conversational. The log cabin interior was a pleasant surprise & there's always a view of a TV with a game on.

We recently moved to Lumberton, and we drive past all the time. Today, we agreed to have dinner here. That was a great decision. We had some appetizers, cheese fries ( they have their own cheese recipe, very yummy), Beer Pretzel was very good, also served with their own cheese dip, and we both ordered Reubens. Everything was enjoyable. Our server was awesome. Good servers like Taylor are hard to find. The atmosphere was exactly what an Irish Pub should be. Busy, noisy, and laughter. Only disappointment was dessert. Cheesecakes, one NY style with strawberries and a Baileys Irish Cream chocolate cheesecake. They didn't taste great. Actually kinda seemed freezer burnt. But we are sure to dine in again. The menu has a lot of great choices we want to try.

3 of us went to dinner last night about 8pm and the service and food was Amazing!!! I had Scallops with pasta and white wine sauce so so Good. Thank u for a great evening and when I'm back in New Jersey I'll be back.!!!!!!!

We had an impromptu surprise birthday party and Dunleavy's was kind enough to give us some space. Our waitress was very kind and well organized. The food arrived timely, was hot and tasty. Everyone was so nice to us and made our experience very enjoyable, I definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat and enjoyable atmosphere.

Good things are worth waiting for I give them credit an extra star just for the fact that take out food never tastes as good as dine in. They remained open throughout the whole pandemic crisis. And the food is always been fresh and very good
