Expect to order what you want and the waiter or staff will bring the food out for you. All the food we ordered was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed both hot pot and grilling. Their fruits are also fresh and sweet. Their rib eye was great the first 3 piece but the 4th one was chewy. I am not sure what happened there. Otherwise over all it is a great place to swing by if you are in the area.

Took my son and the rest of our family for his birthday celebration. Originally my son requested an Asian buffet, but I said I thought doing hot pot would be so much more fun for a birthday and after it was all over he totally agreed. They have a great special where, on the day of a person’s birthday they can eat free if there are at least six people in the party. So it was nice to be able to take advantage of that. Our server Stephen was outstanding. Not only warm and welcoming, but patient and gracious as we needed a lot of help because we are beginners. We decided to resist temptation and only do hot pot instead of adding the Korean barbecue, which we love. And I am so, so glad we did that because we were full when we left. It never got too crowded and everything was fresh and tasty, and the restaurant itself was clean, which is always fantastic. Looking forward to returning again.

I have no words other than GO HERE! The food, drinks, and service are amazing. Very modern inside. A small bar, and yes they have adult beverages! At the back is a sauce bar where you can use some of their recipes or sauces or create your own. Fresh fruit and veggies and some appetizers. Each table has a BBQ grill and hot pot burners. I enjoyed the beef bulgogi and the short ribs most, but everything we had from the shrimp, veggies, chicken, and everything in the hot pots was delicious. Super fun experience.

I was ecstatic to discover that Top Pot had opened a new location nearby, especially since it's my favorite! The added convenience was amazing. To my surprise, we were seated earlier than anticipated. Our waitress provided a detailed yet engaging explanation of the broths and how everything worked, which was especially helpful for my cousin, a first-timer. She consistently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our experience. The atmosphere was delightfully cozy, and as for the food? Simply delicious. Next visit, I'll definitely save room for their desserts—they're a must try, according to all the glowing reviews!

The atmosphere here is really friendly, cool, and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, polite, respectful, and courteous.
The manager we met, Steve, was hands down a great person, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to talk with him.
The food was excellent! I like cooking it at your table aspect. They give you a decent list of items to choose from.
We did the BBQ for our first visit and can't wait for our next visit.

I will absolutely recommend this place and will return for more.

We love this specific Top Pot. We drive quite a distance from West Deptford to come to this one in Delran. The food and service are always sooo good. Plus it can be healthy.

This was our first time here, also our first time every trying hotpot before, and let me tell you it was absolutely delicious!!! The food was absolutely amazing, everything was super fresh, so many choices of food to choose from, and the buffet bar had all kinds of dips and sauces as well as other hot food to accompany the food you were ordering at your table! The server was soooo nice, we explained to him this was our first time ever eating hot pot and Korean bbq and he stayed at our table and took the time to explain everything thoroughly to us and made it so much easier for us to understand, because it can be overwhelming if you have never been to a hotpot before lol

Overall I must say this has been one of the best places I've eaten in a very long time and I cant wait to come back! Keep up the great work and great customer service!!

Update: my original review below stands. Just wanted to add that I visited yesterday and my server, Jerry, was great. I ordered my usuals, but decided to be bold and try the calamari. I told Jerry it was my first time trying calamari in the form it was prepared and grilling on its own. I asked him what dipping sauce recipe he’d recommend. He said “I got you,” and came back with his own concoction. It was great! Definitely paired well and helped me enjoy the grilled calamari. I greatly appreciate Jerry’s experience with the food and sauce pairings!

Original Post:
Been craving Korean BBQ and hot pot for awhile now since I haven’t been in years. Happen to be browsing FB and saw a link to an article for the top hot pot restaurants in NJ, and this place made the list. Decided to check it out on my own for lunch and try to hot pot and BBQ combo. My server Jason (DJ) was great. He took the time to explain how it all worked. Ordering was a little overwhelming because I wasn’t sure of the portion sizes, and I didn’t want to order too much, but Jason offered suggestions and assured me I had ordered a good serving, and could always order more later. When the food came, I put the meats on the grill, but he took the time to actually monitor the slices so they don’t overcook and prepared them for my plate. While he probably had the time to do this since it’s a little quieter during lunch, I suspect all the servers do this no matter the time of day to ensure all guests enjoy their food. Looking forward to going back with friends.

This was our second time coming to Top Pot. We went on a Saturday around 1PM for a party of 2 for hotpot only. They offer All You Can Eat (AYCE) for both KBBQ and hotpot. You can do one or both. I believe there’s a slight surcharge per person if you do both. It was a little busy but we were seated immediately. The server was quick to take our first order and drinks.

In the back of the restaurant is the appetizer/sauce/dessert bar. There are plates/bowls stacked underneath the bars that you can take. They have a bunch of appetizers to choose from, but most of the items are fried: wontons, fried rice, egg rolls, fries, onion rings, orange chicken, chicken poppers, noodles, etc. This is probably the biggest/best/most variety for an appetizer bar that I’ve seen, which is a huge plus! The sauce bar is right in the middle of the appetizer and dessert bars. There are maybe 10-12 sauces you can use. They have additional stuff, like scallions, garlic, seasoning, that you can add in. There is also a poster for sauce mixtures if you’re not sure what sauce to make. The dessert bar was the most underwhelming. They had some fruits and pudding, though I was too full by the end of it to have space for dessert anyway. The staff did a great job keeping the bars stocked and clean.

Behind the app/sauce/dessert bar is a small table setup for additional straws, chopsticks, napkins, etc.

For the broth, this time we ordered the Spicy Korean Soup (🌶🌶🌶) and the Mixed Mushroom Rib Broth. The Spicy Korean Soup broth comes in 3 different spice levels. Comparing both the Korean Soup and Szechuan broths at the 3rd spice level, the Korean Soup broth was more flavorful but less spicy. The Mixed Mushroom broth was similar, if not identical, to their Special Rib broth. I think the rib broths are fine but a little plain and could be more flavorful. They do have a lot of broth options, so I’m hopeful to find one I like a bit more next time.

We also ordered slush drinks: lychee and grapefruit. If you’ve ever had the slush drinks from TSAŌCAA, it’s from the same shop. Flavorful and refreshing. I recommend getting a slush drink to cool off from the hotpot/BBQ heat.

Typically, the broth arrives before the food and you have time to wait for the broth to boil. However, as you can see in the attached pictures, we actually got the hotpot food items before we even got our broths. We ended up eating some appetizer items and having to wait about 5 minutes for our broth bowls to arrive. YMMV on whether you get your broth first or the food items first. In terms of service, it was fine but a little slow after our first order. As I said earlier, it was a little busy so the service time was understandable. To order, you have to check in with your waiter. They will input the items that you want onto their iPad but the table itself does not have an iPad to order from.

The actual food items were great. One order of something was sufficient to share between 2 people. The menu size is pretty good for AYCE. They do have limited seafood options, so if you mostly eat seafood during hotpot, I think you’ll be a bit bored with the options.

Overall, a great AYCE hotpot/KBBQ spot. Good broths, good appetizers and sauces. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re craving the cuisine.

This was my 1st time to dine at Top Pot. My server explained everything very well. Basically you have to main choices - choose Hot Pot or BBQ. I chose Hot Pot. I selected chicken broth among a large selection of soup bases. Then I chose Angus Beef for my protein and among the myriad of vegetables I selected Bok Chou, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, and a few other things I don’t remember. I added ramen noodles to top things off. I also selected three sauces out of more than a dozen - peanut butter, sesame, and a special homemade soy sauce (and get this, it was not overly salty!, great!). The pot of soup base is delivered to your table and then the veggies and noodles arrive. You start dropping stuff into the boiling pot and the meats are done in 10 seconds, or if you don’t want any pink in your meat you let it go for about 15 seconds. All the meat and veggies were very fresh. Your soft drink (and they have a variety of cold, unsweetened teas) to pick from. I highly recommend the passion fruit lime green tea- a great compliment to the meat.

There’s really not much more to say, except you have two hours to order and eat as much as you want for one price. There are also free appetizers at the bar at the back of the restaurant. Take as much as you want. I will definitely be bringing my wife back here this weekend for dinner. And, during dinner there are additional types of meat and vegetables (price is increased by $4 for dinner).

You cannot go wrong with dining at Top Pot. Enjoy!

My husband and I decided to do a date night on Friday, 2 Dec 2023, at approximately 6:30-7:00 p.m. We chose this spot because one of his clients recommended it.

When we arrived, we weren't sure of what to expect. It was his first time dining at a place like this. I had dined at a place similar to this in Chinatown in Philadelphia about 6/ 7 years ago.

They had a 40 - to 45-minute waitlist. We were in no hurry, so we decided to give it a try and wait. Our wait was more like 30 minutes. We were glad we waited. We were escorted to our table. Within a few minutes of being seated, our server Maggie explained to us how everything worked; it was pretty simple.

My husband and I both had the hot pot and BBQ All You Can eat. We both ordered lemonade to drink. In addition, We both ordered Szechuan Hot Spicy Broth (#2 as heat index), and he added the following: bok choy, bella mushrooms, chicken, and broccoli and ramen for his hot pot. I ordered spicy beef, spinach (they were out), bean sprouts, bella mushrooms, and ramen for my hot pot (all of this we cooked in the broth that we requested).

For his BBQ he ordered two orders of spare ribs, spicy beef Bulgogi, and calamari, and I ordered spicy beef Bulgogi (we cooked it ourselves on the pan in the middle of the table w/butter).

While waiting, they offered a small buffet section of which my husband took full advantage of. He had chicken, crayfish, and vegetable fried rice. He enjoyed it. I had a piece of his fried chicken, and it was good.

We only had one suggestion; take the alcohol off your menu until you have your liquor license and replace it with BYOB.

Other than our suggestion, our overall experience was great, and that is why we gave this place a 5 rating. Maggie was a wonderful waitress. We enjoyed our food, and the ambiance had a retro/ contemporary feel, as if you walked into a restaurant in a Asian country, which we really enjoyed; we don't see that too often. The pricing was reasonable with the tip included. The total was $97.88. We highly recommend this place and most definitely will be dining there again.

This place is amazing and a fantastic price for the quality of food and service. Our server Beatrice was so friendly, conversational, and attentive to our grill. She recommended the spicy Korean style soup broth and it was amazing! She made our first visit here an experience we won't forget. Thanks B! 💜

I heard about this restaurant coming to the area and had been anticipating its opening. I finally got a chance to stop in about 2 weeks ago and it was AMAZING.

I’ve eaten at hot pot and kbbq places before but this was my boyfriend’s first time. We came during lunch and it wasn’t busy. Nice big, open, and clean atmosphere. We were greeted and seated immediately and our server was outstanding. He explained how the dining experience works, was very knowledgeable about the menu offerings, and very attentive to us.

They serve lunch and dinner and offer the choice of hot pot (Lunch: $19.99/Dinner $29.99) or a combination of hot pot and kbbq (Lunch: $24.99/Dinner: $34.99). The dinner menu offers additional items, which are noted on the menu with an icon. I believe dinner is served all day on the weekends. We went on a Monday.

The food was delicious. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi but there are options for everyone! They also have a hot bar in the back that has appetizers and additional sauces, etc that you can frequent as much as you like during your dining experience as well. The crab rangoon from it was my fav!

I enjoyed sharing this experience with my boyfriend and we will DEFINITELY be returning, most likely for dinner because the dinner menu offers additional options that we want to try out.

If you’re in the area, please stop in. You will not be disappointed.

The meat is delicious, fresh, grilled on its own, not chewy. The space is large and airy. Friendly staff, quick service. Fast food is cooked continuously, so there is no fear of it getting cold. Delicious hot pot broth, diverse types of hot pot, some non-spicy and spicy, with many side dishes. Along with that, there are many types of dipping sauces, which can be mixed to your liking. You should come try it.

We had a great lunch today at Top Pot. We ordered only the top pot option, not the BBQ. I had chicken broth and my husband had rib broth. Food was fresh. Next time, I am only ordering shrimp and Angus steak, as I was so full on rice, Ramen, and vegetables, that I couldn't finish all the best food I had on my plate. The server was great.. since it was our first time he was very accommodating by explaining and showing us what to do. He even made us his favorite sauce to dip all our food in. That was nice of him, since I didn't know what I was doing at the sauce bar! Good value for the price. Everything was clean. We only needed 45 mins to eat, but they will let you stay for up to 2 hours to really get your $$ worth. We will return.

been here twice. first time with a party of 30+ people at dinner time— servers were super attentive, made sure our meats were refilled, and accommodated our family at short notice regardless of how busy the restaurant was. went back a week later, same superb service. This place has a large selection of banchan and the meat cuts are high quality with beautiful marbling too! You do not need to travel across the bridge to philly to get hot pot & kBBQ anymore!
