Sweet Lucy's Smokehouse

I got the 1/3 rack ribs platter (spicy bbq sauce) with the sides of coleslaw, Mac&cheese, and cornbread! It was ALL really good for the most part. Cornbread was the star. Ribs had great flavor. Mac&cheese was nicely baked. Coleslaw was okay for me, so probably would try something else. Also got the chocolate chip bread pudding and it tasted like marshmallow which was interesting. The whipped cream was fresh and a nice addition to the pudding.

So by your suggestion I tried the Philly Steak I must say it too was very tasty. I was however a little disappointed in the size. If it was a hole sandwich fine. But it was only a half. And there wasn’t enough meat to match the bread.as you can see in the pic. I don’t mind paying for the good quality but quantity is important also. After finishing my only thought was wow that was good but I wish I had the other half to my sandwich

Brisket sandwich. Unbelievably good

Beef brisket was delicious. Their collard greens were almost as good as mine own. The Brussel sprouts were a little over cooked but still good. I will definitely try it again.

Very pleased with my experience here the bar was excellent and so was the food one of the best barbecue spots in Philadelphia. In my opinion I’m an Uber driver and I go multiple different places to eat gourmet places every other day I’ll give this place a five star review, not only because of the food but because of the service and how nice the place was very professional I recommended everybody

This is my second time ordering from here. The first time was during the pandemic and remember it fondly. I didn’t realize how close it was to the house so I wanted to go there and eat. We arrived during a really busy time.

The parking lot was very full, they were hosting a group/party in the back seating area. We parked towards the end, got lucky as it was the only spot open at the time.

It was loud inside due to the music from the party but it’s a celebration you have to have music. I had no idea what to do for ordering and being able to sit down. I asked one of the cooks who was kind with informing me that you order first, if you want to dine in you check in where you order by getting a table number and they’ll bring the food out to you. The person who took my order, the owners mom, was so patient and I thank the people behind me as I had no idea what to get and neither did my kids. She was giving great suggestions and helped with ordering while taking phone call orders.

We got brisket and it was good, the fatty pieces were delicious but the prices that didn’t have any were drier but it’s brisket it’s bound to happen. I got the au jus on the side and I enjoyed it more than the bbq sauce.

They offer condiments while dining in and they were good. I grabbed some bbq sauce, bread and butter pickles they weren’t too sweet which was great, and pickled onions those were good. Had them with my brisket. I wouldn’t have had those if I had ordered take away so I’m happy to have dined in.

The Philly beef brisket was really good, in the words of my son. He doesn’t eat a lot normally but he demolished it. When he likes something he eats very well.

The Mac and cheese was very good, it’s not a dry baked Mac cheese, it’s creamy and so yum. I got the coleslaw and that was good, not too sour and not too sweet with that good crunch. The kids ordered brownies as their second side so it was a good treat. I stole a bite from my daughters and it was a nice ending to the meal.

All of the food was delicious. The place was very busy due to a party , but I still had great fast service . Definitely a good Philly BBQ Jawn.

Before today, I hadn’t been to Sweet Lucy’s in 20 years, and I’m happy to report it’s better than ever. I’ve been telling my kids about it forever, and got the chance today to bring them there. The food is out of this world, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. All of the employees are friendly and helpful, and it was a wonderful experience from top to bottom. Hands down the best ribs I’ve ever had. If you love BBQ, this place is worth the trip.

The smoke meats are tender. The BBQ sauce is also great! Some of the sides I would recommend over others but still good. And brownie is good too! (not pictured).

If you haven't been here for BBQ you are missing out! What started out as a roadside BBQ trailer has turned into an open and expensive restaurant with a bar. The ordering is done where you walk in, there is ample seating with tables, including picnic tables. The food was awesome, the price was reasonable.

The food was the best barbecue I had in a long time. Nice quaint rustic atmosphere..... If you ever in the area, you must check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Was looking for a place to grab some food and decided to try Sweet Lucy's Smokehouse. We got ribs, some brisket, and some of the chocolate chip bread pudding. The brisket was tender, juicy and just heaven. The ribs were amazing and our only complaint was that we should have asked to buy some BBQ sauce to dip them in.....oh and we definitely should've bought more brisket lol. Didn't have time to take pictures of everything, cause it was happily devoured as soon as we got home 😋

The lady who took our order was extremely patient and helpful since it was our first time at a BBQ restaurant. The place was very neat and clean, atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. This is our go to spot for BBQ and brisket!!

From the outside it looks like an old deserted factory. It’s very cool, cozy, kid friendly, huge indoor tables and booths. So, it’s plain but the food is so good. I got a platter of Pulled BBQ Pork and it comes with 3 sides. I choose Mac & cheese that was great and a small side of Chili, and Baked Beans. The food was awesome . Dessert was Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding which was also good. I tried almost everything and everything was great. A must go too! Wheel Chair accessible, they also serve alcoholic beverages. Very casual.

I highly recommend hiring Sweet Lucy's to cater your wedding! We hired them to cater our 200 person wedding and they were absolutely incredible (full service catering). Ali helped us with every step throughout the process, she consistently went above and beyond to create our vision - she even walked through the venue with us to map out the buffet/cocktail tables and helped us figure out quantities for our rentals. The food was AMAZING - we had guests from all over the country who raved about it. Our wedding was over 3 weeks ago and I'm still hearing about how delicious the food was. This was our easiest and best decision for our big day!! We can't take credit for the idea though, we attended a wedding years ago that had Sweet Lucy's and we decided at that time that we would have them for ours (we were not even engaged at the time). We are forever grateful for the opportunity to have them cater our wedding. If you're thinking about it... DO IT!

Food was amazing!!!! Ordered ribs, delicious!!!!! Brisket was good, little too dry though… chicken great flavor and little dry. Great people!! Extremely nice and friendly! Food was served fast! Definitely will come back! Also great atmosphere.

Very good bbq, if a bit pricey. The Philly beef sandwich hit just right for lunch. Beans and Mac and cheese were also good!

This place deserves 10 stars. Sliced brisket Mac n cheese sweet potatoes great pickles and marinated onions. Still going strong. BBQ sauce rocks

AMAZING. If I could give the meal more than five stars, I would. Salmon was perfection. Mashed potatoes were creamy and delightful. Mac and cheese was flavorful. I would eat here every Friday for the salmon special if I lived closer. Disclaimer: I’m not even a huge fan of BBQ, but you got yourself a life long customer now with this dish!
