ShopRite of Whitman Plaza

Pleasantly surprised at how nice this ShopRite is. It’s very unassuming from the outside. They have a sushi bar, bakery, seafood counter, deli counter, and flower counter. They even have live lobsters. The produce section was well stocked, even though I visited at the end of the day on Saturday. They even have a decent toiletry and cosmetics section. The customer service desk was very nice. I would definitely return here for grocery shopping.

The rainbow is going out of business this Monday 26th everything is 50% off I brought everything off the clearance rack so it was $3 and I paid $1.50 and the shoes was $5 and I paid $2.50 plus they have kids clothes February 26th,2024 is last day Happy Shopping

I love this Shoprite but I got very sick from eating from the hot and cold food to go area twice. Not sure if food was left out to long, or expired but, awful feeling. Other than that great shopping center. I had to go to the hospital today, hopefully nothing serious.

A well organized store to get all needed items and we r happy to explore a substitute king arthur whole wheat flour for Indian chakki flour. Apart this so many other healthy options of stone ground grains store and it also has Indian basmati rice which is a plus.

Decent place. Awesome people, & service.
Spend Far More time here than I'd like to admit.

All I gotta say is WOW 🤩.
This ShopRite compared to the one at 23rd and Oregon is crazy. This one is so much cleaner, way more stocked, and the customer service is remarkably amazing. I recommend shopping HERE instead of 23rd at even if you have to drive the xtra 10 mins or so. Thanks, you guys always make my shopping experience smooth.

I love this store It is ABSOLUTELY clean and fully stocked. I have been here a few times before but I don't remember it like this. It looks like they remodeled the whole store. the people who work there are very nice and do the job. they are supposed to do instead of playing around like the other ShopRite stores I've been to. better quality food, shelves fully stocked, very respectful workers, and management. most importantly they have more than one line UNLIKE THAT HORRIBLE SHOPRITE ON OREGON AVENUE I FEEL LIKE I'M STANDING IN LINE FOREVER THEY MOVE FASTER THAN THAT AT THE DMV I'M GOING BACK AGAIN VERY SOON TO DO MY FOOD SHOPPING 🛒🛍

Been going here my whole life pretty cool

I wanted a coca cola cherry flavor soda. I found the 12 pack soda here. No other competitors on the market along the Oregon Ave strip had it but this shop rite. the short limited supply is due to coca cola bottling plant on strike.

This location gets 5 stars for the simple fact they are THE ONLY one to carry my Nana's favorite lunch meat..Coteghino! I walked in and asked for it and the staff lit up and asked me what do I know about that 🤣 it's a South Philly thing. You go anywhere else and ask and they look at you as if you have 5 heads. LOL! Thanks guys for carrying this product!

I went to this ShopRite this weekend for my regular shopping trip for the first time since I usually go to 24th and Oregon however a ridiculous change in policy regarding a limit on self check out items and rude staff drove me away. This was a very pleasant experience. I found they had all my usual stuff and then some. When I went to self checkout I asked the worker if there was a limit and his response was no limit. Music to my ears. I will definitely be back. Still learning the ropes as far as where everything is located but I'll get used to it.

great, fairly priced market. everything typically in stock or within reach. employees very helpful. beware the senior shoppers tho, they can be very short tempered.

This ShopRite is great and it is huge but once in a while they do not have or I am sorry I repeat most of the time they do not have certain things other than that this is the shop right you want to shop – – – – – RIGHT. LOL.

I’ve been going to this shop rite regularly for almost 3 years. The employees are consistently pleasant and courteous, and the prices are very fair. I love the selection or produce and plant based options.
