So It Is African Market

This was my first time in So It Is African Market. They have a variety of African, Jamaican and Caribbean foods🤗🤗!! It was very clean, smelled fresh, the staff was very friendly and the customers too🤗🤗!! I even had the opportunity to meet the owner 🤗🤗!! If YOU or SOMEONE you know is looking for Internal Foods I definitely recommend to check them out🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰!! I didn’t get a ton of photos because I decided to do full live video on Facebook of the entire store. Lots of great stuff inside!!🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Love this place! Came here to find ingredients for Egusi Soup and was impressed. The store attendant that helped me was not even of African descent, yet knew where everything was and was so courteous. I found all the ingredients I was looking for and so much more. They have everything from fresh yam and plantain to the yam flour, Amala flour, dries crayfish, Chips, water leaf, palm oil, desserts/snacks, etc. The place is very organized and stocked unlike most West African stores I’ve tried in the past. My partner loved the store as well and was able to find and choose so many options of frozen meats like catfish, lamb, and goat.

They also accept EBT which is a plus! Spent a good 3 figures on my first trip here and plan to return again soon! Highly recommend for anyone searching for any West African spice, herb, or meat/fish!

Great customer service. Better selection than most. I'm happy they have the ginger beer and halal foods. Good location and good prices. Good parking. Didn't have a bottle opener wish they had one. Customers are nice. Followed covid protocol. Alhumdulilah halal.

Excellent store! First time visiting this store and it had everything you could ask for. Proud Nigerian here and I will be returning

Best place to buy fresh African food stuffs

I really like this store. It has everything a Nigerian needs. The atmosphere also reminds me of home. Great selection of products and friendly staff.

This is the most outstanding African market in New Jersey. Everything in the shop is well organized and very neat. Their goods are mostly fresh and good. It's a good place to get all your favorite African and jamaican ingredients for your meals.

I, being a freckled Irish girl, can't pretend to have an extensive knowledge of African food. This is why I liked Soitis so much! The staff were very friendly and the store felt homey (complete with unusually sweet kids that greeted us and held the door open.)

I love cooking and experimenting with new foods, and the woman behind the counter didn't bat an eyelash at all of the "What is this and how do I cook it?" questions. I would highly recommend Soitis. ......but not Malta.

Such variety. Expansive selection of frozen meat and food. Grocery items well stocked. Health and beauty products. The sell shea butter and the selection of Ankara fabric is plentiful. I want to give this place more stars.

We stopped in the staff and owner very knowledgeable on the products. Yua,a Chysz regular chips the kids liked them. Iberia Platanitos salted another taste of the market. They also have other variety such as Grace Tropical Rhythms Reggae Medley from the Caribbean. They carry food from different countries. Tried a prepared beef dish with
rice and beans.Before trying the dish they were honest with how the food would be spicy and the flavor. Its unique spicy on a scale of 5. They also have a fish dish with
Croclce fish .Sometimes they have other
prepared foods this was are first time there.Unique experience and tasting the world one country at a time. Will go back to try more.

The young man who waited on me was very polite. I'm quite a distance from the store, but I would absolutely make the trip again.

Neat place, very customer friendly, and has alot of variety. I always get what I need when I go there. Very reliable. If you are looking for any African market, go there and you won't be disappointed.

This is the best African market ever in south Jersey You will find what you need for your favorite african meals. The owners are very very helpful. The place is clean and they
sale wholesale. They also sale african fabrics for any occasion.

I love this place for authentic African ingredients. The staff is super friendly and the seem to always have shipping containers for sale.
