Absolutely what a diner should be. The atmosphere is pure perfection! The food is delicious. The deserts, decadent and delicious! The place is clean, including the men's room. Whenever I am in the area, I always eat here.

We go as a group after church EVERY Sunday. From just 8 of us to as much as 20, and they are always happy to accommodate (please call ahead). The wait staff is so patient and well deserving of their tip. Even though we may cause a bit of a stir when we're trying to get our group settled, no one acts annoyed by it. The food never disappoints. Don't miss out on the creamy turkey soup, served only on Sunday. It is one of the most flavorful soups I've ever had, besides French onion soup. Recently we had a remarkable waiter, Oktay, who has an incredible memory. He served us the previous Sunday and remembered what most of us had. He even commented on one of our orders asking if they wanted it like they had it the last time and he told them the special way they orderd it. He remembered I had the cobb salad, and a few other folks orders. We were amazed. From hot wings to Ruben sandwiches, from crabcakes to burgers (their fries are the best), from cobb salad to Pene A La Vodka (I think that's the name) there is something for everyone. And, in true Jersey diner fashion, there is a bakery case filled with delectable delights. Go ahead, be naughty, cheat a little with a slice of cheesecake and a cup of coffee to finish things off (whose gonna know? You can go to confession tomorrow.) The atmosphere is friendly and warm. Do yourself a favor and be sure to stop in and tell the awesome manager, Ginger, that Dietra (the other redhead), sent you. Sorry, I only have the one pic (after I took a little taste). I'll try to add more later. But when they sit that scrumptious food in front of you, you're only thinking about EATING it.😊 ENJOY!

Lots of changes but all fantastic ones! Some of new menu items I got to try were great and the service was even better! My bartender Sabrina gave such positive service and her drinks were phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back

Always love coming here. The bartender, Monica, always takes exceptional care of her customers; very personable and bubbly. You’d think I’m lying if I said her drinks are even better than her service!

Giovani was our server and he was excellent. Very personable! First time we have been since the new owners took over. Food was good and all the staff were very friendly!

Wow! Just wow. I was welcomed by the most amazing person, Deanna. Deanna made sure that my family and I were all seated in a time that was both efficient and with seats for all. If we could we would have had her eat with my family!

Very large portions. Burgers and steaks were cooked to perfection! Appetizer sampler was a meal and it’s self. All food came out hot and service was excellent! Even has three bars and bakery right on premises. Will definitely be going back here again!

Always a pleasant experience here but tonight was made even better by our server, Oktay. He was courteous and attentive and we look forward to coming back soon.

I've been here several times. However, I've never tried the French onion soup 🍲 it was Awesome.

This was our first time at Hollywood under the new ownership. The atmosphere was pleasant & the food was delicious. Our server, Louis was exceptional!

The food is delicious & plenty full! The service is great. The diner itself has a great atmosphere.. back in the 50's. We go there to eat whenever we go to Jersey to visit our friends who are the ones that took us there.

We love the Hollywood Cafe. This trip was to pickup Thanksgiving Dinner at a cost of $75 (which was ordered ahead of time the first week of November). The turkey could only be 10 to 11lbs. If you needed a larger turkey they wouldnt do that. You would have to order another entire set for another $75. Pickup was easy as we only waited 10 minutes for the order to be put together. The turkey was great but slightly cool (we warmed it up) and the sides were done perfectly. It was a nice variety of sides and the cream or turkey soup was an unexpected added bonus. Good restaurant to get a quick bite and be on your way. The dinner is hard to miss, and the service and nice. There's a quiet pleasant atmosphere. You can choose either the bar or restaurant side. The bar is a great for a night out and the bartenders are awesome. I come here often and would definitely suggest to atleast come here and try it out. The breakfast is the best!...just be aware of the $8 juice

Went to the bar last Friday. Food was great and our bartender Erin Flaherty was excellent! Drinks were awesome! 10/10, highly recommended!

Had a 90th birthday party at Hollywood today for my mother in law and everything was great from the food to the service. We were a party of 36 and it couldn’t have went any better thanks Hollywood for help making her day special!!

My waiter was Zannis and he was excellent! This is not the first time I had him he is always excellent!

I had eggs Benedict for breakfast. It was a great choice, absolutely delicious! I ordered the clam chowder, for lunch, the day before. I recommend both. The service was great.

I visit here often, the food is good, service great, but today we took our puppy with us for the first time and sat outside and our waitress was the best (Robyn) she treated us and our pet 10/10 and we had a great time eating there with the company of our pup, thank you for a great service!!!

Waitress and hostess was very nice and attentive from hello to goodbye. My kids and I loved the food and we be coming back
