El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

Great atmosphere, service is timely & those who run the place are always very nice. Mexican food is my favorite type of food and El Mariachi the best Mexican food I’ve had. So glad it’s nearby!

Had been eyeing this place for a while now.. especially the Molcajete platter. We tried the platter, a veggie chimichanga, tres leches and Lime, Tamarind Jarritos.

We were surprised to learn that this place does not offer any alcohol - first time being to a mex joint without ordering a beer or margarita, lol, but they have a good beverage menu so had fun anyways!

The platter was a big serving - 4 pieces large shrimp, 2 slices of chicken, 4 sausages, 3-4 pork chops, 2 slices of cactus,2slices of pineapple and I think 2 pieces of beef ribs. I loved the pork chops - juicy and cooked so well. Mexican sausages were amazing too. Beef was a little too rubbery for my taste and chicken tasted well - but i was too happy with the pork chops to focus on chicken. Enjoyed the flavorful cactus and pineapples and the large shrimps.

The chimichanga was a decent sized - stuffed good enough.. the jarritos were excellent but the tres leches was ok - it wasn't too sweet which is a + for me but i like tres leches a little more juicy than this. It felt slightly dry.

Saw another party order a few horchatas - will try it next time!

We went on Cinco de Mayo and they were swamped. They still accommodated everyone and we were seated with 15/20 mins of arrival. The staff were very nice and truly worked as a team. Food was very good and had so much great flavor! Portions were very filling, we both took some home!

Been wanting to try this place for so long and so happy I finally got around to it! Went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised with just how adorable the interior was!! Not only is it extremely cute, the staff is amazing and so incredibly polite. Food was awesome as well, can’t wait to go back!

Amazing like always. Whenever I order from here I always have the enchiladas. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and let me tell you that it was amazing! So cheesy and good. The food was also very hot when it was delivered to my work place which isn’t an issue😂 I can’t wait to order again from you guys. Maybe next time I’ll order something other than the enchiladas! Highly recommend.

Modest little strip mall joint that does not disappoint! Get the queso!!! I had the Birria - delicious! My son had a El Pastor quesadilla which he enjoyed and my husband had the chicken tacos (tinda pollo- we think) chicken was a smidge dry, but seasoned well. We would definitely come back! Nice service too!

The chuleta tacos were amazing! Also the elote, and ceviche ! Would keep coming back

went here with my two girl friends after a long day and had the best time! daniel our server was phenomenal and cared for us so much! definitely returning in the future. margaritas, tacos, burrito, and churros were AMAZING!! highly recommend

Hinosca was the best waitress ever! She came over multiple times to check on us. Our food was great as well. It was the perfect chill night for me and my friends!

OMG the food is delish!! We drove from Audubon to eat here. It’s our second time and they didn’t disappoint. We love their beans!! The quality overall is far superior to other ma & pop Mexican restaurants. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a god-tier of food, if you ever want to try anything from here just as like a sample to see if you like it, I recommend ordering the tinga de pollo quesadilla 😩 Lord forgive me for what I’d do for one, it’s so good. I’ve never had anything bad from here and I’m embarrassed to say but I probably order from here like 4 times a week. One time I went in and they said “oh you’re back again!” Yes I am back again because your food is too good. Just try it you won’t regret it.

I usually get delivery from this place 1-2 a week bc it’s so good. The portions are good and the food is delicious.

Delicious! Best Tostadas I’ve ever had, chimichanga was great too. We enjoyed the potatoes in their rice. It was different but really good. Great price and great portions!

The BEST!!! I am a regular here and I am NEVER disappointed. The food is authentic, and the quality is incomparable. I have never ever been disappointed and I this will always be my favorite spot in the area. I always get tacos, but I've had many other items on the menu as well. The salsa verde is absolutely amazing, I always get several sides!
If you are thinking of trying this restaurant, please do it! I promise you will be in love.

I travel far just to get some yummy food. I had never tasted food like this in all South Jersey and I am willing to travel for amazing food. The tortas milanesa is my favorite and quesabirria!

I highly recommend anything campechano, a mix of chorizo and carne asada. Their green sauce is also fantastic. Don't forget a Jarritos Mexican soda to finish off your meal. The pineapple is really good.
