I wasn't sure what color or hairstyle I wanted. I've been wearing wigs for over 2 yrs. All I knew was that I wanted a color and style that would make me look and feel younger.

Ever since my first appointment at Doris Hair & Beauty (May 2022), I leave satisfied every time! (My services: Foundation braids and silkpress/trim) Doris is super professional, very down to earth, and takes extreme pride in her work. She provides quality services and offer many options for whatever it is you are looking to get done. In addition, she gives you tips on caring for your hair and makes you aware of any changes she notices during your service. Our hair is our crown and she treats it as such! The location is convenient and scheduling an appointment is hassle-free! The services are great quality, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and never crowded. I promise you’ll love it here!

I have to give this salon their roses. I am very cautious about my hair and have been looking for a new hair salon now that I'm in Jersey. After extensive research I chose to make an appointment at Doris'. It was like I've been coming there for years. Doris was very nice, personable, and professional. My hair has been natural for 11 years, so when I finally decided to get a silk press I knew I wanted to be seen with someone that understands natural hair. I’m so glad I went with Doris, she did an amazing job. She wasn’t rushing doing my hair, she asked questions about my hair and really seemed invested in giving my hair the best possible care. I am so happy with my new look. Doris was absolutely amazing from start to finish. During my consultation she listened carefully to what I wanted and recommended various options until I was happy with one, she booked me with a next day appointment. At the start of my appointment she explained the steps in the process. As she moved on to each step she made sure to tell me, which I appreciate. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted to cut my hair, she was very patient and started with only cutting a little. She stopped to ask if the length was good numerous times, and cut a little more each time, until I finally saw the length that I desired. I am extremely happy with my hair and the environment was very welcoming with pleasant conversation. It was an all around great experience. Thank you!

Doris is the ultimate professional. She is friendly, down to earth, and natural hair-knowledgeable. This was my first visit to her shop. Doris’ Hair and Beauty Salon is a vibe. It has a stylish and chic atmosphere that brought a feel of comfort and enjoyment to the hairstyling experience. I loved the feel and look of natural hair afterwards (silky smooth, polished shine and plenty of bounce). Doris did her thing. I received so many compliments. I am a regular customer now. Doris was kind and professional from the first time I met her in October 2022. At that time, she provided me with a private hair evaluation a week before my hair appointment. I arrived for my appt, sat in her chair while she cornrowed my hair and then she attached the crochet braids. I couldn't believe she was finished within 1 hour and 15 mins. I was thrilled with the outcome. The cornrows were not tight and I was not uncomfortable at any time. I must schedule an appt for removal. Doris is definitely my go to and I have made sure to tell women about my experience and have encouraged others to schedule an appt. Thank you Doris for your kindness and professionalism.

The salon is very clean and inviting, the service is extremely professional and I am always satisfied with the finished product, the salon owner is always very friendly.

Doris is a sweetheart and very quick with her hands! I'm new to the area and I found her on google. She is knowledgeable about natural hair and her prices are the BEST around! If you live in Camden County and have natural, like silk presses, and dope protective styles you should be going to Doris!
