Portland Arch Nature Preserve (South Trail)

Nice place to hike and scope out some rock formations

While the north trail contains the arch, and is the one you should hike if forced to pick only one, the south trail is a nice complement a short drive down the road. The trail is a little more up and down than the north trail and also goes through more dense forests. While there isn't a single main attraction to this trail, it offers nice scenic views of Bear Creek. The trail is a loop that can be done in either direction and there are also points in the trail where you can shortcut part of the trail if running short on time. Be careful walking over the bridges, as at least one had some missing and loose boards that could be potentially dangerous.
