Ocko's Japanese Steakhouse

Great food for this area! Prices and quality was great. NO alcohol though, so that’s a little disappointing for no pre-meal cocktail.

Loved it here, my girlfriend and I had lunch and the food was top tier and the servers and staff where very nice too

I live in SE Louisiana and we have fantastic food BUT this is some of the best food I have had - anywhere! I had the grilled tuna and it was better than any steak I have eaten. Sorry about the photo - I gorged it and THEN remembered to take a photo :). The portions are large - I could not eat it all. The owner, Ocko, is a very friendly Christian man with a zest for life and food. I sat at the counter and we talked during my entire meal. Highly recommended.

This is such a fantastic place to eat service is always fantastic food is always even better!! They even have a half menu now where you can get a decent lunch size for half the price!!

I liked how dark and quiet it was. Not very busy either.

You can seat yourself which is nice. I have bad anxiety and can't eat at some restaurants due to this but I was able to eat here because of how calm the atmosphere was and how nice the servers are.

Both the servers were nice and attentive.

I loved the steak, vegetables, and rice. I liked the crab wontons but they aren't as good as other places. The egg rolls were also not as good as other places. The steak and rice is worth it anyways tho.

Very good sweet tea, some of it may seem expensive but they have some pretty massive portions and good quality meat so I think it is worth it.

The me s bathroom was clean, it was a one person bathroom but had a urinal and toilet anyways which I thought was funny lol.

I think they are over all pretty good but the atmosphere part is my favorite due to my anxiety problems. It's nice to have a place I can feel so calm at.

Very amazing shrimp fried rice and very friendly staff also it was really peaceful inside restaurant

Went back to my hometown to see my grandma the other day and me and my girlfriend saw that they had reopened the old Cajun bistros and made it a Japanese restaurant so we had to stop! It has the whole Cajun atmosphere which kind of throws it off being a hibachi restaurant but the food was amazing and they give you a lot of it! Service was okay I think that the girl had more than one job but she did okay! It was just nice to be back in the hometown and good for them to have their own Japanese steakhouse! One other thing I want to say is the steak was real steak like the taste of it was amazing which makes me wonder what I've been eating over here at the mini hibachi steakhouses in Little Rock 🤔!

A nice little Japanese restaurant. Sushi was excellent and the Habachi was second to none. Filet, lobster and scallops.

Amazing sushi in a town I would not have expected! Super kind staff, highly recommend.

Please get some Asahi and good sake in here!

Not often do you get to enjoy a personable experience at a restaurant. We've been coming here for awhile, the food is always delicious. It comes out fast, and the servers are always very friendly. Tonight, the sushi chef took the time to show me different ways of eating the sushi and I discovered sushi is much more delicious than what I thought before. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place is fabulous. I highly recommend the fried crawfish.

Their chicken Katy’s was amazing. The pano breading is just the right thickness and moist. The vegetables were done right and every bit of it was flavorful. 10/10 would stop again.

This is easily the best place to eat in Stuttgart. Having frequented Stuttgart for work this past year, I have tried all the restaurants in town. This place is my favorite. Good food, plenty of healthy options, and fairly priced. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. The sushi tastes great and their ginger dressed salad is a nice start to a meal. It's worth noting I haven't had any steak here, only sushi and salad.

Best restaurant in town hands town. They are a little slow sometimes. I got my sushi after my dinner once and it should be opposite but other than that time everything's been great. Food is worth it.

🍣 and more. The dining area is large enough to spread out since COVID-19 pandemic recommended guidelines are to be at least 6 ft away from the any persons with the illness. A counter-top freezer contains fresh fish like tuna, salmon, & several more. There is a list of at least 15 sushi types both fried and raw (California rolls and tsunami). Talking about variety the lunch plate features an entree, white rice and veggies with a choice of fried rice. The appetizers are the best, traditional Asian dumplings, egg rolls, pan fried 🍜, edema, wontons and many more are your options of starters. An extensive choice of dinner options are avaliable with a choice of fried rice or steamed white rice. While, I was there I forgot to check out the dessert section but I grabbed a set of wooden chopsticks for free. Might I add the prices are reasonable very affordable and cheaper than most Asian Americans restaurants in Arkansas. The quality has never changed my first taste was in 2015 - 2016 at one of there food trucks. The food truck offers hibachi style food options the same when you order in. The food is prepared quickly, timely and always on time.

Great restaurant- Steak and Sushi. A standout restaurant in Stuttgart. Friendly owner, solid service, nice menu. We had the steak and shrimp and was impressed with the quality and freshness. I will go back... often.

Great food had the rainbow roll crab puffs and egg rolls all were amazing and service was great!!!

Food was delicious. Owner visited our table when he saw us struggle with the menu for our young dinners. He was helpful, kids loved it. I will go again.

A real sushi restaurant in Stuttgart, Arkansas??? YES! Ocko's has wonderful, fresh fish on display at their sushi bar. Ocko is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable (try the Ocko roll 😉). The tempura shrimp were perfectly cooked: light, crispy batter over a large shrimp. It's worth a detour if you're looking for a genuine sushi restaurant.
