Calderwood Lodge

I've stayed here multiple times, spacious, clean, and a great location both in summer and winter. We use this as home base for a snowmobile trip every year.
I've heard the owners are thinking of expanding the lodge and adding pickleball courts, which would be awesome

This place is so unique and beautiful! We stayed here late fall with a group of 16 friends for an annual get together. This place was a perfect getaway for the long weekend away with tons of space for everyone to sleep comfortably as well as relax indoors on a chilly/snowy fall weekend. I can only imagine what fun it would be on a warmer weekend utilizing its outdoor amenities too 😍 It was super clean and what I would consider a luxury lakeside experience. Beautiful sunsets and lake views. Wonderful amenities. We had a truly wonderful time at Calderwood and will be back again!

Spent the weekend here with friends in May and it was perfect for us! There is plenty of comfortable sleeping space, lots of room to spread out throughout the house, and the kitchen is a great hangout spot for a whole group. The kitchen appliances are amazing and make cooking for a large group a breeze. I loved the deck overlooking the lake, and the cozy seating area just below it. They have a nice dock/swimming area on the lake, and we launched kayaks right from the shore. The lodge is great for outdoor activities, but also has plenty of indoor entertainment available if the weather isn't cooperating. Highly recommend Calderwood to any group of friends or family looking for a place to spend some time together!

Stayed here with a group of 16 and it was PERFECT! There is a ton of beds and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The bar downstairs was so much fun and we were able to cook and serve food for our whole group comfortably. The lake was beautiful as well. Plus we loved that we could walk to the local bar and grill. We will definitely be going back to this lodge!

Great place to stay for large groups. Host was very friendly and helpful. Will come back again!

We had an excellent experience at the Calderwood Lodge. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful, and the roughsawn carpentry is amazing. The kitchen has 2 oversized refrigerators with a top of the line range. The large deck overlooks the lake, and it is right off of the kitchen. This is the best place to start your morning with breakfast and coffee.
Downstairs there are arcade games, pool table, multiple TVs, lounges, and a bar for entertaining.
Upstairs, there is a large family room that looks out to the lake. In the family room there is a massage chair(yes a massage chair), large screen TV, and extremely comfortable couches. I sat in that massage chair for hours!
There is room for over 20 people to sleep, so the price is well worth it.
Outside there is a dock for your boat, or they have rentals available. The lake is great for fishing, the locals say it's one of the best in the area. There is a huge fire pit right by the water, with a bar for entertaining.

Tons of beds and more than one was a king. As someone who is tall, it was nice knowing we wouldn’t have to fight over beds. I think everyone in our group was bummed to leave, especially after using that kitchen to cook. Great place over all for a getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a nice escape where you feel like royalty.

13/10, would go again. Amazing views, super quiet, plenty of room for big groups. Big kitchen, tons of bedrooms… worth every penny!

Really nice place! I was here for a wedding. Be warned, deer flies were bad by the lake. Bring bug repellent.
