Jo Joe's Pizza and Gelato

Breath of fresh air! If you're looking for quality ingredients and rotating menu options, check this place out. The sticky chicken and the Schnitz were so good - even our picky kids loved them! Can't wait to see what's available the next time we stop in.

Jo Jo's pizza is that old Italian pizza whose recipe seems like the kind that's been passed down from one generation to the next. Cut in small squares, cheesy with enough toppings that you got done in every bite, the sausage, amazing. It sits between Sister Bay and Ephraim, easy to find and you can eat in or carry out! Enjoy!

2.0 has really done a great job! The owners/staff are very friendly and the pizza was delicious! Fresh flavor, well prepared and quick. The thin crust pizza was cooked to perfection!

We visited Joe Jo's years ago and wanted to try it again on this trip. Was not disappointed. Thin sausage pizza and it was delish. We also tried the garlic sticks, 3 for $3. Bought gelato to eat later. Reasonable prices.

Pizza was EXCELLENT!! The crust had the perfect amount of "crunch"; just the right amount of sauce (and the sauce had perfect flavor, not too tangy, not too sweet), my favorite sausage (crumbles not clumps)..... and the staff was SO nice!!! We also had cinnamon dough sticks for dessert (WOW, like something you'd get at the fair!!!!)

Next time we are in town, we will definitely be back!!!!

Very nice place with very friendly staff! The pizza was so good, got several different types and everyone loved them! The gelato was also quite exceptional and was my first time having any! The ceiling is vaulted which gives the atmosphere a really nice and open feeling. Pretty good for medium parties but might get a little cramped for larger ones. 10/10 would recommend!

Their pizza crust is light and thin, but the toppings are plentiful. And, a nice array of topping choices. The salad in like no other. Marinated vegetables on a bed of greens. So good!

Really good thin crust pizza. The main attraction has to be Gelato. All made fresh in house, there's roughly two dozen flavors to choose from. It's hard to choose with all the tantalizing choices!
The casual dining room is good for small groups up to about ten people. It might be a good idea to call ahead if your group is larger than four as this place can get busy during peak hours in the summer.
The owners are friendly and engaging while hard at work to make sure everything is top notch.

Fast service. They have you pick your own toppings so if you have a hard time making decisions it's might be tough. Pizza was great and hot.

We didn't have time to try the gelato but it looked great . We're going g to try another time. Pizza was as fresh and flavorful. Very nice people.

Dick and Kathy were very inviting to their establishment! Fantastic pizza made to order, with exceptional looking Gelato. Took our pizza to go and spent but a few minutes inside checking the place out. Took just shy of 20 minutes from phone call to pick up wich is what is expected! Loved it!

Tried Joe Jo’s 2.0 tonight and loved the pizza. Nice thin crispy crust and the sauce was outstanding, plus the most sausage I’ve ever had on a pizza! Had the crème brûlée for dessert, fantastic. Will be back again to try other items!

The owners take pride in their restaurant. The pizza and breadsticks are good and my husband likes the Italian beef sandwich (We haven't tried the salad). They have good local rootbeer on tap too. The Gelato is great and there are always several good flavor options! The place is clean and staff is friendly. It is cool that you can watch them make the pizzas a little bit too.

Pizza is light and extremely tasty. Service is very personable, the owners both work and come visit you at the table. The best thing about this place is the world class, Italian homemade gelato. The only other gelato that even compares was from the streets of Rome. We came back the next day just to have more of the flavors as they change daily. Incredible place, our family's favorite place in the surrounding area.

The BEST pizza in the county.
All the locals eat here. Stop in and see Kathy and Dick. They also have gelato. My buddy from Chicago said it beats anything he's had there. A very pleasant dining experience.

Heard this was under new ownership, so stopped in for a pizza today. Sauce is amazing, would love to see breadsticks on the menu in the future because the sauce is just that good! Very friendly owners. Hope this place does very well going forward.

Amazing place! We love the pizza, salad and sandwiches!!! Not to mention the gelato! Wonderful spot happy to drive up anytime we can and we don’t live nearby! Keep the great food coming! See you again soon!

The sea scallop pizza is the best pizza in Door County! The gelato is good too! You get to experience the locals there as the owners are locals and many locals go their. The owners are a couple. The prices are comparable to Door County prices, but still high.

Thin crust pizza is sooooo delicious. It is under new ownership and the owners are very personable. They also have food to take and make. . Perfect stop for awesome pizza.

The Italian sandwich was spicy and juicy. Really tasty. I would have it again. The pizza was also great. The owners are so friendly. Make sure you get gelato to go. Nice place.

Very friendly staff, excellent pizza, fast service and delicious house salad. At least 20 different flavors of gelato to choose from. Very tasty! Highly recommend stopping at this place.
