Stayed here for two nights. It was queit clean and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Check in and check out was super easy and the price was very reasonable.
True there are no TV's in the room but that was no issue. The setting is very beautiful with several little shoppes near by to explore. We had dinner there at the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced as well.
I would stay here again.

Stayed here when traveling on my honeymoon. The staff was so friendly and kind. I ended up falling a little ill when we got checked in the next morning. I was feeling better, and everyone asked me how I was feeling, making sure I was okay. The food was really good. My husband and I love this place. we hope to come back soon.

We went to the charming restaurant for dinner. There was a fantastic piano player with an amazing range pleasantly accompanying our meal at the perfect volume for our enjoyment and conversation. The service, ambiance and food were all top notch. We shared the onion rings, calamari, Brussels and beet salad for appetizers then we all enjoyed our meals, including the clam chowder, clams casino linguini, salmon, cauliflower/garbanzo dish and a few others. For dessert we preferred the maple bread pudding to the flourless chocolate cake. The cocktails, wine and coffees were all delicious as well. Make sure to make reservations as it’s not a big place. We’ll look forward to going back when we’re in the area!

Situated in the center of Chester, VT, the Fullerton Inn is a quaint, historic hotel with such charm. With no elevator, this would not be a good choice for handicap people. The rooms are clean, and comfortable. The lobby has plenty of tables with seating, and overstuffed couches to enjoy the large stone fireplace. Holiday music plays to put you in the Christmas mood from Thanksgiving and on. We had a free and filling continental breakfast and they serve lunch and dinner in their restaurant Tuesday through Sunday. We will be back to stay again soon.

We came for dinner on a Friday night. Menu is limited, but the offerings all sound so good that it makes choosing difficult. I ended up choosing the French Onion Soup, Chicken Marsala, and Apple Pie and Ice Cream. All very good. My wife had the Mussels, Strip Steak, and Creme Brule. Of course, I sampled hers as well and, again, very good. I will be back to try the other menu items.
While the wait staff are friendly, service is slow and a bit non-attentive. This is the only slight drawback, but I still gave 5 stars because the food was so good.

My first stay at a very quaint Inn. It was just what I expected. Fullerton Inn is an adventure! They are accomodating and have 3 different dining rooms, Food is wonderful - and a beautiful fireplace. Take a step back in time, like 100 - 150 years ago, and stop in for a few days. Plenty of fun shops nearby and The Original Vermont Store is only 13 miles away.

Under new management (absolutely lovely people!!) and the food is fantastic! Imaginative new menu, and they’re careful about gluten allergies. Everything fresh and well seasoned. The crispy Brussels sprouts were YUM! All desserts made fresh on site daily. Thrilled to have the new menu - we’ll be back!!!

Beautiful, old building, including the rooms. A one of a kind experience, and a small, local business.

Breakfast is basic and self-serve but good: coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, fruit, and yogurt. There aren't fridges in rooms, but there's one for guests to use off the lobby. Ask the manager.

Nothing about the Fullerton Inn or its restaurant is accessible, due to it being in an older building. If you aren't up to at least a few steps in the door and one flight of old, uneven stairs up to the room, this might not be the place for you.

Absolutely loved this place, very old world in beautiful condition with a beautiful veranda with comfortable seating and lots of room. Very comfortable clean room with no tv. In a place like this who needs a pesky tv. The restaurant was lovely with beautiful meals and a great choice. A tad expensive but believe me it was well worth it. The town of Chester is gorgeous with a wonderful coffee shop and plenty of things to see. If you want to get away from the rat race and kick back for a few days then I highly recommend a stay here. Nothing much for young children to do, but good wifi.
The host was nice and helpful and the breakfast was nice with a choice of bagels, cereal and fresh fruit in lovely surroundings with fresh coffee and fruit juice.

While we didn't stay here, we only had dinner at the Fullerton Inn. Food was good and service was very good. Our waitress was very sweet and caring. I don't remember her name, but for the management's sake her number on my receipt is 25. I hope you thank her for her award winning smile and customer care attitude!

If you want a national chain experience, look elsewhere. This is an experience from a different era. The rooms are quirky but comfortable. The restaurant is excellent, and a good value, but make a reservation or you might not get a table.

This little town of chester puts a lot of time and effort into decorating. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night the first weekend of October. It came to $200.
Our room was very small with and outdoor porch which you share with the room next door.
The walls are thin so you do hear the cars driving by at night. This place is 100 years old so be aware the rooms are small and the place is old but kept up very well.
The only disappointment I had was the continental breakfast. The did not have eggs meat and potatoes. Which for $200 a night expected.
The staff was very polite and curtious. The lunch menu and dinner menu is VERY affordable.
The food was delicious i will be coming back. Such a great experience

My friend and I stayed here for a ski weekend at Okemo. We stayed in the Queen suite which had two separate rooms and beds which worked out great for us. While we were denied service at the Scottish pub down the street for being out of towers, the Fullerton Inn took us in for dinner and drinks and we had a great time. Nice selection of local beers, fireplace, TV with college hoops, and everyone was super nice to us. Stayed open for an extra 30 minutes so we could finish drinks and we hung out in lobby area even after restaraunt closed. Nice little continental breakfast in the morning and easy 20 minute drive to Okemo in the morning!

The opportunity to stay a few nights in a part of Chesters history was amazing! Comfortable accommodations with an amazing host. Dinner was exceptional with good portions and full bar to supplement. Dessert choices heavenly and staff fantastic. Will return again!

What a lovely location. The rooms are quaint and the village has interesting shops.
Patti was especially kind and her husband took mine to the tire shop as we were "stranded" due to car trouble.
Hoping to return under less stressful conditions.

Food and drinks were delicious! I enjoyed the French onion soup and Mitch's maple wings immensely. For the holidays they had "12 drinks of Christmas". I sampled the merry berry whiskey, vixens cider mimosa, the butterscotch tini, and the holiday whiskey all of which were incredible our server, Lorraine was also fantastic! The inn has a great location in the middle of town as well.

Came for a cocktail, great cosmos, in a huge shaker, bartender did a perfect ballet slipper pink cosmo with fresh lime juice. Forgot my Chanel sunglasses and the server chased me down. Very sweet!

We had an excellent dinner! Our waitress was very nice and accommodating to our large party. They have an excellent selection of wine and offer flights of local beer. They even had a few vegetarian and gluten free options. Would recommend

vary nice place with there own restaurant. they have around 25 maby 30 rooms and the food in the restaurant is vary good. this location is less than half an hour drive to some of the best ski resorts around. alot cheaper than staying at the resort. the rooms are comfortable but there are no tvs here just wifi.
