I think Mikes has some of the best sandwiches we’ve had in Vermont / Hew Hampshire since moving here a couple of years ago. Great selection, reasonably priced and delicious. Made to order, and no issues with modifications. It is our go to place for sammies.

G-d blessed the broken road that led us straight to Mikes S&D.
The only word to describe this place is ‘delicious.’ The air smelled of breakfast. The coffee selection was exquisite. The pump-handle vat of maple syrup at the coffee station was the epitome of VT Convenience. Felt just like home. But better.
Will be back!

Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had.
Stopped here multiple times while traveling.
Get the chicken on a stick! You won’t regret it!

Was traveling north to New Hampshire on interstate 91. Was getting hungry so we got off at exit 9. Too our surprise we found this hidden gem. I had the best chicken tenders ever. Others in my group also got deviled eggs and potatoe salad. They said that was good as well. If I'm ever traveling thru I'd definitely be stopping in again. Truly a hidden gem worth stopping at.

Stopped here on our way out of town and got one of the most delicious sandwiches ever! Very unique sandwich choices. We got the turkey twist on a grinder roll and it was delicious. We also got “chicken pops” (chicken on a stick) and those were super flavorful. This place is a little unsuspecting but I totally think it’s worth stopping!

Possibly one of the best hidden beer caves in the Upper Valley. There’s always a great selection of local craft beer here. The deli makes fresh sandwiches to order as well all day long. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is always fresh! We stop several times every time we visit the north east.

Wow is all I have to say. Usually gas stations are grim places, not this place! Delicious fried chicken and homemade jalapeño poppers, looked like an amazing selection of other food on the deli menu, as well as tons of specialty items and a great beer selection. A hidden gem and highly recommended place for a rest stop while driving.

What a great little store! I've stopped here numerous times on my way to work (coming from Windsor, it's a quick little detour to stop here before hopping on 91) to grab some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The employees are always friendly, the prices fair, and the quality of the coffee and food very good. Also, they've got a nice sample of craft beers, especially Belgian strong ales. It's the only place around Windsor I can find Sierra Nevada Stouts and Porter, so I'm thankful for that.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for local goods, snacks, and lunch!
Of all places, a gas station & market in the mountains where an employee met us at the door with so much kindred and another employer stopped stocking the shelves to help us fix the coffee bean grinding machine that we struggled with to grind up a bag of locally made " maple flavored coffee."
Rather than the typical "gas station" or "convenience store," this one had antique items set up as if a museum to the past precedents of what they now sell, and is packed with locally made cheeses, beers, maple syrup, candy, granola, honey, preserves, meats, crafts, cookies, and coffee.
There is a nice deli, good coffee, all manner of everything else needed to support campers, hikers, bikers, and sightseers.

They answered our questions to include about local cross-country skiing and offered tips.

They told us of a local artisan whose work was for sale there, who was a sweet old man and loved by the community. Much of what was for sale was from citizens in the state. After hearing this, I made two more laps around the store.

Our original purpose for stopping there and driving a few miles off course, was to obtain some good spring water for one of our party. What a great decision. We were there for a while. :)

Excellent craft beer selection. I can always find something unique as well as my go to beers. If I'm looking for Cloud Drop or Fiddlehead I will always check here. I have never tried their prepared food, but it looks delicious. Easy to get to off I91.

If your looking for true potato wedges with fried chicken, and kfc is not your idea of how a potato wedge and chicken should be, than this is the place to go!!!! They also offer different sides and meals, as well as chicken on a stick that come in 4 different flavors of sauce. So it's well worth the visit if ever near the Hartland/Windsor area, do yourself a favor and stop by and try the food you wont be disappointed!

What a gem.

Stopped for quick food and was amazed at how good their subs were. Well cooked and sesoned chicken, nice vegetables with fantastic sauces. Wish it was closer to my home.

Also, great beer selection with relatively competitive prices.

Mike's has a great selection of products- really good cooked and prepared food (TRY THE WINGS!) and an excellent selection of beers. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

My friend Shane was looking for coffee driving 91N and we were on the phone. I’m not in Vermont, at all. I found Mike’s on google maps and Shane told me to give it 5 stars.

Beat Country Store, Hands Down and I have seen more than most. If you can't find it in here then you don't know what you want because this place has it all. The store has an amazing deli and grill, is big, clean, well stocked, has a friendly staff, 93+ Mobil Gas, Redbull, and is owned by a really nice guy named Mike. Great Atmosphere, and Great Employees, a place you go and they remember your name. The place is always packed between 11and 3 but what successful business isn't.

Humungus and delicious sandwiches. Made with fresh bread. Great prices. Very much worth the 1 Mile drive off the highway! We enjoyed our lunch out on their picnic tables.

Amazing little store and deli. They took such care to make me a gluten-free sandwich me and my daughter have celiac. And they went out of their way to make us a wonderful gluten-free ham and cheese sandwich. Very clean and wonderful service.

You won't find a cleaner, greatly run small country store. The staff for 20 years has always been great. The food from their Deli is freshly made ready to go or prepared as you order. A must stop on your way by.
