Riverside Restaurant

First time eating here recently and it was absolutely amazing. Ordered for 3 people (including a kids meal) and it came to a very reasonable price, the portions were much more than expected as well, especially for the kid's meal. We'll definitely be eating here again.

The service was very good, the food served timely and hot and the prices reasonable. The atmosphere is definitely family oriented, relaxed, comfortable. Our server was a lot of fun, making the whole experience top notch. Highly recommend Farmers Benedict and the SW omelette. We’ll be back for sure!

Went as a big group and was thoroughly impressed. Food did not take long to come pit, portions were great and the food was delicious. I got stuck dealing with my 4 year old through a portion of dinner and the waitress never hesitated to ask if I wanted my plate warmed up. In my 9 years of motherhood I've NEVER had a restaurant understand kids enough to offer mom a warm up. 1000% will come back when I'm back in town!

Chicken was so juicy. If you like sweet potatoe fries they are amazing.
Causal dining. Clean friendly staff.. A little pricey but sssssooo worth it. Unfortunately because I'm out of state I won't make back. If I lived closer I would go again

Nice place. Prices were reasonable. I liked that they had a solid variety of options, without going over the top without giving me a small book for a menu. Good menu layout and friendly staff. I think I saw a salad bar too, which sounded nice, but I was just interested in steak that day.

Wouldn't mind heading in there again, next time I'm in the area.

This is a lovely place to have lunch. The food is delicious and waitstaff friendly and accomodating. I always have a great experience here.

In town for a wedding, took a chance on a local spot, and it really paid off. Real Vermont maple syrup on perfectly griddled pancakes, crisp chicken fried steak with a delicious and peppery white gravy. Everything was great, and the prices were fair.

Crystal has a great place here. She was also our waitress. Great personality for the service industry. Breakfast was amazing. She will be my forever methel.

Great food, bacon was a bit lack luster, but the eggs were perfect, the toast was amazing, the service was awesome (very nice waitresses!)

Service is always great, portion size is good, and amazingly friendly waitstaff. Do not confuse this restaurant with the Springfield Diner down the street. I will always give the Riverside an A++

The environment was so relaxing though the restaurant was full. Friendly waitstaff eager to help in any way. I enjoyed the Cobb salad and for dessert I had Chocolate ice cream with hot fudge on top! Wonderful experience with the family. I would suggest this restaurant for anyone in Springfield wanting a place to sit and eat be it with a group, just a friend or alone.

My husband and I come here regularly. We're always greeted with smiling faces and a welcoming atmosphere. The service is probably the quickest in town. Breakfast is amazing and their corned beef is to die for! Love this little gem!

This is a true family establishment. When I lived in town my grandfather and I both ate here Wednesdays at slightly different times. Crystal the owner is sweet and prompt. She even bought raspberry jam for me when I come in (my favorite) since the packets were only grape and strawberry. Prices have never gone up for breakfast since I've started coming many years ago. Always will be a favorite place of mine for a hot cup of coffee and great start to the day.

Excellent food and service. We were headed somewhere else but went with a gut feeling and stopped here. It was a perfect choice. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Waitress was courteous and quick.

Nice place to go for a quick dinner. Lots of locals eat there, so if you are from out of town, you will get the stink eye. Otherwise food is really good and you won't leave hungry.
